people are getting banned for using handmade utgs, which don’t have anything bad in it, so roblox just sees the word “UTG” and bans people

Sorry for the possible useless reply but my friend inserted a free model which we suspect had UTG in it. Got a week ban and lost a ton of progress on a game we have been working on since November.

Stay away from UTG, it can get your account terminated. Not my account termination but I can confirm it’s real.

One straight answer. NO.
The alternative that i can recommend to this is an serverside executor GUI. You can make these yourself or use/skid/steal/yoink someone else’s SS executor GUI. But i highly recommend making an SS executor yourself: just a GUI with a frame with textlabel, 2 buttons: Execute and Clear and an Lua virtual machine, because chances are that someone else’s serversided executor will have inappropriate scripts as well.

The issue is people slip this thing into free models, I had a game that wasn’t running, it was private. A few hours after working on it my friend got banned for a week for allegedly inserting UTG into the game. None of us have heard of UTG or knowingly inserted it into the game at that point. We suspect it was inserted into our game via a model we used from the toolbox, sort of like a trojan horse. I have no idea how Roblox even determined that UTG was in our game as it was private and nobody could have reported it. What I don’t understand is Roblox does not delete UTG & UTG tainted models from the toolbox, but they ban and delete the games of people who knowingly/unknowingly insert them into games. One shouldn’t be able to do this in the first place.

It’s quite evil I know. If you get caught a second time with it in your game it’s a termination. Even if your game is private/you forgot it was there.
Roblox determines if you have UTG because they have auto moderation for studio games. I’m pretty sure it was originally made to get rid of those sexual games, which worked, but now they also use it to detect UTG.
What I don’t understand is Roblox does not delete UTG & UTG tainted models
The only thing I can think of is that Roblox might accidentally remove non-UTG models that look like UTG from auto moderation as mentioned before, so they rather ban and then you can send in an appeal and make things right. It’s silly but look at it from Roblox’s perspective, they rather accidentally ban someone than accidentally permanently delete their game/assets.

Well I just received a 7 ban for remaking one, wish I had known the outcome beforehand. What I don’t understand is how it’s something you can get in free models if it’s against the rules and secondly, I don’t understand how they detect it. I wish Roblox was more clear with this because it’s a messy situation that isn’t clear and is causing problems to developers. And hopefully my ability to devex isn’t ruined because of this.

If you can not be upset that your account got banned or something. But Id not recommend this due to it having inappropriate stuff and not being able to devex which is that’s how you get your food as a dev
