How to contact verizon wireless ceo

tl;dr: one email to the CEO got Verizon to waive my ETF and get me incredibly cheap internet!

I was in a predicament: I wanted to cancel my FIOS TV service but retain my internet service. I was told by two different CSRs that I'd have to pay a $120 ETF to remain a Verizon customer.

I thought this was ridiculous. When I asked the first CSR to connect me to a supervisor, I was told that a supervisor was "unavailable" and that I'd have to give them another number so that a supervisor could call back when their schedule became available. The other CSR promised to connect me to one, kept me on hold for 30 minutes, then disconnected me.

I was pissed, so I looked up Comcast's rates for my area and sent an email to Verizon's CEO, Lowell McAdam. His email address is .

I explained the situation. I told him I wanted to remain a Verizon customer, but Verizon was making that difficult. I explained Comcast was offering internet speeds of 105Mbit for only $55/mo, far less than I was paying Verizon, but on top of that, they were offering a $100 Visa for new customers. Between the cheaper rates and the $100, Comcast was literally willing to pay me to switch!

Less than 24 hours later I received a phone call from Verizon's Executive Customer Service. In one 5-minute phone call, the wonderfully polite woman I spoke with was able to alter my plan to the doesn't-exist-anymore-but-actually-still-exists "local channels only" package. This allows me to get rid of the $6/mo basic digital adapter I've been paying for but also allows me to keep the discount for "Double Play" subscribers. My bill is dropping to $60/mo.

If you've got a problem and regular customer service isn't helping, email the CEO.
