Man this was a wild ride from start to finish, so many ups and downs, but I gotta say it really is beautiful. That ending really just leaves a kind of warm spot in your chest.

Wow I really do love this story! It’s got that bittersweet feeling that makes you just so happy and a little sad inside! I hope more of this author’s stories are translated to manga because they’re absolutely amazing reads. Meanwhile, we’ll just have so satisfy ourselves with the novel version.

Reminds me of another manga Half & Half by Seo Kouji, for anyone who wants to read something similar.

Beautiful ending, would love to see more about their last few days even though the ending feels right.

This manga truly amazing. I Love it. But one thing to be missed by the author was, Why would the heroine sold off all of the renaming life span she has, after the MC paid off all of her debt? It's a bit weird. Rather than sold off all of her remaining life span time excluding her last 3 days, it would be a lot better if she sold part of her life time to re-bought MC life span. At the very least both of them could have more time for themselves, or better off they could increase the value of their live span after the re-bought again (just like what MC did) and then completely re-bought all of their lifespan again. Isn't this smarter? It's not like I hate the current ending, it just that I really love both this series and the couple, that I really want both of them to have more time and happiness.

MC can't paid off her debt. For the remaining 30 days, he can paid off 3 years work of Miyagi.

And I think it's better off this way. The one that will live for few more years will be just sad, longing for her loved one. At least this way, they'll spend the last remaining days of their life together.

If anyone wants something similar to this, try other works by Sugaru Miaki. He has written "Parasyte in Love", "Pain, Pain Go Away" etc.

Some of his works have manga adaptations I believe, but I strongly recommend the novels. They are all fan-translated by vgperson.

Is 3 days of happiness sad?

Not going to lie, this book is probably one of the saddest books I've ever read. When I say sad, I don't mean like when you see those abused puppy commercials, more like Kusunoki's life is just really sad.
