The St. Pete Pier’s second annual “The Fourth” Independence Day Celebration is set to return for 2022. The extravaganza brings a festival feel to Spa Beach Park on Monday, July 4 with a fun run, vendor market, food trucks, craft beer garden, live music, and of course, fireworks.
The fireworks show, sponsored by the City of St. Pete, will of course be visible throughout the downtown waterfront, while the pier hosts all the additional activities. The show begins at 9 pm, while the Celebration takes place on the pier from 4-10 pm.
The event also marks the return of the second-annual St. Pete Pier Run. Additionally, as part of the festivities, there will be live music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater main stage, headlined by Nightrain, a Guns N Roses tribute band. Leading up to the fireworks show, the 13th US Army Band will be performing patriotic orchestra music. There will also be roaming street performers.
Admission to The Fourth is free, though VIP tickets are available online for $25. VIP tickets include access to a private bar, private bathrooms and a prime fireworks viewing area on Spa Beach with guaranteed space for your own chair and blanket.
“Salute our nation’s birthday in true patriotic style at the must-experience St. Pete Pier’s second annual “The Fourth” Independence Day Celebration,” organizers said. “Attendees will enjoy live music, a variety of food trucks, and a front-row seat to the most iconic firework show in the city.”
