My dogs had been battling fleas all winter, I kept having to bathe them and wash their beds and vacuum the sofa. Pretty much working myself half to death to stay ahead of the fleas. We live on a big farm, and the dogs like to chase squirrels and bark at the trees. There is no way to spray or treat all the places they run. Just a little while after putting these collars on my dogs, they had stopped the scratching and being miserable. Two months now and spring has totally sprung. They are spending hours outside everyday and NO FLEAS!!! I am so happy, I had tried Soresto and my little dog broke out and his neck bled everytime. My big dog could wear them, but after a while it wasn't working. I had been bathing them with the Adams shampoo, which works great also. So I tried the collars and Kitty is wearing the drops, which are great as well.

So my dog never had fleas until this year and let me tell you, it has been a song and dance to get it under control! From trying shampoos, Frontline , spraying the house, and washing his stuff all the time, they seemed to get worse. I finally found a combo that works for us! I got NexGaurd, a flea and tick chewable that you give your dog once a month, and that seemed to work great! Fleas definitely started to die down. I did notice a couple still on him, so I figured since these collars were on sale, I'd get a few. Since putting the collar on him, I have seen no fleas. So with NexGaurd and this flea collar, I've finally rid him of fleas!

I bought last year and they were fine. Bought these in January to be prepared for ticks. Went to put them on today and they are all dried out. Can no longer return because it’s past date.

my dog has a 4th of july ritual to hide in the crawl space of our house due to her fear of fireworks. While she is there, she always comes out with fleas, but this year there were WAY TOO MANY. and the few days after with people still using fireworks, she kept going down there. Then she passes the fleas to the other 2 dogs, on of whose coats is thick and long. I shampoo'd them twice a week with the extra strength flea shampoo, used the liquid you place along their spine, and even used spray. None of it was a permanent solution. They kept coming back. I bought these collars, and along with the showering I only see about one flea or two during their weekly shower.

I noticed it fit large and small dogs and just wanted flea collars for both my dogs that didn’t cost a fortune. I’m trying these. Right out the box they are very powdery and is rolled up and kind of sticky in between. It’s very long so after adjusting it to my dogs small neck I had to cut off about 8-10 inches off of just excess collar. Overall very easy to adjust and stays fitted where you fasten it.

I've always been told that flea collars only kill the fleas that come into contact with the collar, so I never really bothered with them. That is, until recently when I bought these. We live in a very rural area where ticks are a major problem and fleas are just as prominent due to stray barn cats and wild animals bringing them to our yard. This year has been the worst for fleas by far since we never had a good freeze last winter to kill them off.
We have used topical solutions, sprays, yard treatments, capstar pills, carpet treatments, flea shampoo, holistic/natural remedies, you name it and we've tried it. Although we had gotten fleas to a minimum, they were still attacking our dogs and even us. One of my dogs is highly allergic to flea bites and has very bad reactions. It was necessary that we find a solution. Finally, I broke down and bought these flea collars because it couldn't hurt, right? After all, a majority of fleas do travel up the neck and would likely make contact with the collar at some point. Another bonus, the price is cheap!
Much to my surprise, these have worked! Yes, it was in conjunction with other methods aforementioned, but nonetheless the collars are working. I haven't seen a single flea in days and my dogs are starting to not itch as much as their bites heal. That's more than I can say about anything else. I was having to use sprays almost daily in their beds and around the house, as well as constantly applying treatments to the dogs only to find fleas still hanging around. Now I feel like I don't have to worry as much.
