(After I did some youtube research) In about 30-45 mins for the whole unit was replaced. Already, I've put a couple of hundred miles on it and it's holding up just fine! So I purchased this item delivery was fast and I had it installed the next day and my car is running just fine I have a Honda Accord EX 3.0 v6 and this alternator got the job done Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2019 Bought for a 1999 Honda Accord EX v6. Took the old whiny alternator out and went to replace it with this one. I struggled longer than I should have in trying to get the mounting bolts threaded in because the space of the mounting points on this alternator aren't properly spaced like the stock Honda alternator. This one is a fraction of an inch narrower. I had to barely thread one of the two mounting bolts and then try to hold the alternator at an angle (while also pulling away for more bolt clearance) And trying to spin the dang bolt in. Doesn't help that this car doesn't allow for much hand/work space. Eventually, I got it. The rest of the install belt-wise and wire-wise was easy. I'm unaware if other brands of alternators suffer from the same problem, but I'd definitely give this alternator a shot since it did work with some extra patience. Car started right up and the alternator did what it is meant to do. No more whine, a fully charged battery, and no more light dimming/AC kicking off.
