All rights reserved I've been using a Philips Lumea, got about 4 sessions in. I'm basically doing almost all my body (full brazilian, lower legs, arms, underarms) and it takes about 40 mins for all of it. I've found it pinches a bit on grown hair (I haven't bothered to shave beforehand after the 2nd session, so little of it regrew), but not worse than waxing, and only on grown hairs. If I shave them, it's almost imperceptible. I'm light skinned and dark brown haired, and plenty hairy, so I hoped it would work. And it has. I'm pretty consistent with it. After 4 sessions, almost no hair regrowth in between sessions. The little that does grow back is much sparser (probably patches I've missed last time), and way finer and easier to shave. I used to have terrible irritation from hell whenever I shaved (yes, I've tried all the methods, all the products, everything), and terrible ingrown hairs no matter if I shaved or waxed, and no matter how much I exfoliated. That's all gone now. I'm loving this thing and even if I have to keep doing it for the rest of my life (although salon options aren't the definitive solutions they claim to be, either), I really don't mind. I'm expecting my first completely free and easy summer, in the body hair department. Never thought I would.
