Free Preemie Crochet Baby Vest Pattern

This is a practical crochet baby vest pattern that is suitable for prematurely born babies. It is easy to dress and undress your little bundle of joy.

This cute wrap over vest will make dressing and undressing your precious bundle easy!

It is a simple design where the two front panels simply wrap over and get secured with a simple tie.

This way, it will not get in the way of any tubes your little one may need! This crochet baby vest is easy to put on, as you do not have to manipulate fragile arms.

You simple lay the vest flat, place your baby on top of it and wrap over the front panels. You can gently secure them with a simple tie at the front or side.

I have designed this cute pattern as part of the Preemie Crochet Challenge organised by Sunflower Cottage Crochet.

Helen curated a great collection of crochet patterns that are suitable for prematurely born babies. Throughout the duration of the challenge, you will be able to download free preemie crochet patterns.

Each download of a pattern is a pledge to make at least one of that item to donate to a NICU or similar in November for Preemie Awareness Month.

This year, we are also including a crochet pattern bundle. As this event is foremost a charitable event, all the proceeds (minus payment processing fees) will be donated to two charities – Project Sweet Peas and Bliss.

You can find more information on the main round up on Helen’s blog.
