It's normal for a baby to cry for 2–3 hours a day for the first 6 weeks. During the first 3 months of life, they cry more than at any other time. New parents often are low on sleep and getting used to life with their little one.
When should I be concerned about my baby crying?Call your pediatrician right away if your crying baby: Has been inconsolable for more than 2 hours. Has a temperature of more than 100.4 F. Won't eat or drink anything or is vomiting.
