Best dragon to rescue in Dragon city

I’ve recently completed the epic dragon rescue and before I waste 30+ keys on another rescue I wanted to make sure I was making a good decision. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos but it seems they’re mostly opinionated and bias just to the dragons they like and aren’t giving good reasons or showing stats why they’re good dragons. I’ve also read a few articles which were helpful, although all the dragons mentioned were not available for rescue. So reddit I know there is good dragons up for rescue but I need help on deciding while I gather keys xoxoxo

How ranking system works

In the previous version (old ranking leaderboards), we ranked a dragon depending on how many damages in all trainable moves. Thus, if a dragon has much moves damage, then he will have a higher rank.
The new ranking system will combine a rarity, category, special moves, strength and weakness element type, and total damage of trainable moves to rank a dragon. With all the above stats, we hope the rank of each dragon will be more accurate. For example, if you look into the board, you see some dragons have less damage, but he has a higher ranking. Don't be surprised because that is how the ranking is working now.

General[]

The Missing Dragon Rescue is a permanent feature where you can join a 7-day dragon rescue. After every rescue, you can start another by choosing a dragon to rescue. When starting a rescue you'll have to spend Dragon Rescue Keys which can be gained in temporary events. To progress, you will have to fight in each tile using 6 dragons against other 6 dragons and at the end the dragons will fight a boss which guards the dragon that will be rescued. The feature is unlocked at level 25.

Progress[]

Winning entire progress (including Final Boss) will unlock new rarity. allowing to rescue the next rarity dragon. Player can unlock next rarity by rarity sequence: Common --> Rare --> Very Rare --> Epic --> Legendary If player fails to rescue in time, The Dragon Orbs that he/she collected are kept and never be lost.

Missing Dragon Rescue Strategy[]

Varying from different dragons, the event usually takes up to 6 days to complete.

The higher the dragon’s rarity, the harder the battles will be. Battle difficulty increases progressively along the nodes. Grow and strengthen your dragon collection… It’s time to strategize! Having a large variety of strong dragons will help you on the road to success!

To win, you use a team of 6 dragons. It has a 4 hour cooldown after each fight for all dragons, even if some of the dragons survive the fight. The strategy is to go to the next fight and replace the dragons in the team, allowing a cooldown and a new fight. Using lower leveled dragons on lower opponents is usually the way to go.

Keys[]

The Dragon Rescue Keys used in the Missing Dragon Rescue are a new, permanent resource. Keys will stay with the player from one rescue to another and do not expire. Keys can be obtained from Key Chests in limited-time events or in the shop.

Keys are used to:

• Start a Dragon Rescue: The amount needed varies depending on the dragon’s rarity.
• Progress in the Dragon Rescue: Keys are required to unlock each node of the Dragon Rescue. If you are missing some keys, you may be allowed to use Gems instead.

Missing Dragon Rescue Key

Missing Dragon Rescue (Fomerly called "Dragon Rescue") was originally a temporary event had 3 difficulty level in-event: Easy, Medium and Hard and included 4 variants of keys (Green Key, Yellow Key, Red Key and Blue Key). Each variant keys can be obtains different date. Later, Dragon Rescue had been revamped and become permanent feature. All 4 variant of keys system had become into a single unit key. Difficulty level is now part of Rarity Level and renamed as "Missing Dragon Rescue". Making the gameplay much simpler and easier to rescue.
