Q: What is the best pitching in MLB the Show 21?

Despite the love for the heater and the curve, its the slider that is the best pitch in the game. Yes, even the slider needs to be mixed in with other pitches to keep players guessing, but when its time to get a strikeout or weak contact, there is no better option.

I like Ecks a lot. Pretty quick and throws kind of in between a 3/4 and side arm angle which makes his slider look like it’s breaking more than it does

I wish I could keep the slider as my 5th pitch, but they never fixed it to where you don’t have to constantly change pitches. I have a 12-6 curve and when it’s side armed I’ve noticed it gets hit a lot more.

I love Generic Windup 23 for my RttS pitcher. (Lefty throwing 4SFB, SL, CH, 12CV, CUT). Just feels nice and smooth from a 3/4 arm slot.

Carlos Rondon is really quick and easy. Used both of his diamonds alot this year and put his animation on my RTTS pitcher

I haven’t tried his yet. How’s the animation with your pitches in RTTS? Also, what kind of pitches do you throw?

What do you think is the best pitching animation for a 12-6 curve? I’ve been trying to find an animation that’s good for it. So far I noticed Kenley Jansen’s is good for it, but it sucks when it comes to the fastball and circle change.

What is the best pitching style in MLB The Show?

Best Pitches and Pitching Motion Sinker and Cutter are highly recommended, as both are very strong pitches in MLB The Show 22 and can excel in Diamond Dynasty. Follow that with a curve or changeup of some kind, but for us the preference tends to be the Slurve and Circle Change.
