Big Texas Comic con 2022 location

Big Texas Comicon is an amazing cosplay event, gathering chords of movie, TV, and comics fans in downtown Texas. This pop-culture celebration takes place in Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center over the last weekend in October. Come to meet stunning celebrity guests and dozens of unique vendors and artists from across South Texas. So with a costume or without one, you will surely have fun here with your whole family.

The stars lineup is traditionally announced on the official website of Big Texas Comicon (see External Resources below). You'll be able to see your cult figures and even interact with them, ask questions at panel sessions, and get autographs. The estimated price of such a precious signature ranges from $30 to $60, depending on the celebrity.

The floor hours differ by day: on Friday, the show runs 2 pm to 8 pm; on Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm; and on Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Panels are planned for all three days of the convention. • At the Alamodome Ticketmaster box office (*NOTE: Big Texas Comicon will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center)

Autographs!

Autograph prices are set by each celebrity’s agent just prior to the show and some may announce day of the show. However, you can expect to pay between $30-$80 for autographs, selfies, and phone photos at the table depending on the celebrity guest. ATMs will be available on site. You may bring personal items or each celebrity will provide photographs to be signed which are included with the autograph price.

Cosplay!

All costumes MUST be in good taste and no nudity. This is a family show atmosphere. Any violations of these policies will result in you being asked to leave.

Handicapped Assistance/ADA!

The Henry B. González Convention Center falls under Title II (State & Local Government) of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is maintained and operated with regard to the requirements of the Act.  For events in the Lila Cockrell Theatre, accessible seating is available in several areas. Should you need any assistance, please contact a staff member or volunteer at registration upon arrival.

Wheelchairs or motorized scooters can be requested directly through the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center staff on site.

Bag Policy!

All bags are subject to search by either SAPD, HBGCC staff or Big Texas Comicon staff prior to entry. All items are subject to approval.

Weapon Policy!

Convention staff and security reserve the right to inspect all attendees’ props to ensure that no authentic weapons of any kind are brought onto the convention center property or into the convention center building. By attending the convention, all attendees expressly agree and consent to this inspection and waive any and all objections. Any and all authentic weapons are strictly prohibited and those found or identified during any such inspection may be confiscated by convention staff and security.

Ultimately, venue security and San Antonio Police will decide what is allowed and not allowed into the convention. However, you can assume that the following will
