Blocks cave spiders cant climb Minecraft

If you are playing bedrock edition, then spiders are unable to climb magma blocks.
If java edition, then they can climb any type of block.

If your problem is them accumulating at the top of your spider farm, then you can mitigate this by placing cacti at the top that will kill the spiders climbing up, They usually climb to the same corner or side, so it should not be that difficult to do.

According to the wiki:
Spiders can climb up over walls and other obstacles.
Is there some blocks or obstacle in Minecraft Java 1.13.2 a spider can't climb to?

Spiders can climb leaves, glass, fences etc etc etc.

What stops them is an overhang - they cannot grip the underside of anything.
(In fact I believe any kind of overhang would stop them.)

Thanks. Can they climb "hurting" blocks? I think about cactus. But maybe is there some other blocks that could cause them damages while climbing?

yes but they will take damage.
Also, cocoa beans on jungle logs will also stop spiders

So yes cactus blocks would be worth trying - I believe they are not smart enough to avoid climbing them.
You could also have them climb into water or lava - see if that works. The lava could be held up with signs. Water can be held up with open fence gates.
Also under some circumstances spiders lose their grip and fall down - not sure why - a gap in the wall? - but this sounds like it would be fun to reproduce.

My experience and testing agrees with this: only the tops inflict damage (through other partial blocks up to and including the height of a trapdoor [0.1875]).

From the behavior in-game, it appears spiders can climb cactus but don't. They seem to avoid cactus where possible and "drop off" when receiving damage.
Berry bushes and wither rose interaction appears to be similar to cactus from various descriptions, but not tested as 1.14 is still in official snapshots.

That's confirmed in the wiki:
Magma blocks damage living entities standing on top of them even if underwater (with exceptions such as shulkers or guardians) [...]

So that should be quite an effective way of blocking spiders. And even to kill them if you manage to push spiders onto cactus blocks:

Something like this is just how I pre-kill spiders before the drop in my exp mob farm. 'O' = the drop shaft, v = water (lower level)
It's too much of a hassle dropping spiders into the same kill box you're using to whack at the legs of creepers, skeletons, and so on. If the kill box far below is 2-deep and 2-wide, then it's easy for creepers to catch a glimpse of you ... and hard for you to hit their legs.

Yes, TheWesson! But since I play with my young boy, and he's sometimes a little bit anxious when hearing mobs sounds nearby. So, I prefer letting the mobs dying cleanly and quickly from a fall
I just had issue with spiders that refused to fall, but the cactus did the trick (see here for a screencap). Not as cleanly and silently I could have wished, but they don't spawn that frequenlty. So that should be OK.
