I have fine, thin, straight hair that’s dry-to-normal along the shaft and oily at the roots. Basically, my hair is nothing like I want it to be - I would love a thick, curly mane. Oh well… Like many of us, I go through cycles of chopping it off, growing it out, then cutting it again. I’m currently in the growing out stage (again), so taking extra care of the tresses to make sure they grow without breaking is a priority.

I got Elizavecca CER-100 Collagen Coating Hair Muscle Treatment Rinse ingredients: Water, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, amodimethicone, cetrimonium chloride, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, trideceth-12, fragrance, citric acid, panthenol, ceramide np, argania spinosa kernel oil, macadamia integrifolia seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, hydrolyzed collagen (100 ppm), gelatin, hydrolyzed keratin, avena sativa (oat) protein extract, butylene glycol, hydrolyzed corn protein, hydrolyzed soy protein, hydrolyzed wheat protein, 1,2-hexanediol, chenopodium quinoa seed extract, salvia hispanica seed extract, linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed extract, lens esculenta (lentil) seed extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed extract.

One thing that sort of “comes with the territory” of being a review-oriented blogger is we don’t often buy the same thing twice. Even if the product is great, there are so many other things to try and write about! Sometimes I wish I had another face to try all the skincare that I want to try :)

There are, of course, exceptions to every rule. I am currently finishing my second tube of this amazing hair treatment, and I will most likely buy a third. That’s right, it’s THAT good.

Let me start with a backstory. I have straight, fine, blonde hair, that I color with henna once a month (myself). My whole life I’ve wanted wavy hair, and even had a perm once in high school (should have learned from that). So, in November 2016, I decided to try for a perm again. My hair was long (mid shoulder blade), and the result was supposed to be epic. Um. WRONG. It was awful. Not only did the curls not take at all, my hair became frizzy, limp, and easily breakable. I waited until after the wedding, and cut off first 4 inches and then another 6, because sometimes a haircut is the best mask.

I’m currently in the process of growing the hair out. This mask has been a lifesaver as I still have some residual damage.

How to use:

1. Apply to damp, clean hair.

2. Wait 5-20 minutes (I go for 20 while sitting in a hot bath with a sheet mask on my face).

3. Wash off with water and proceed as usual.

My fine hair tangles like that’s its job, but not after this mask! It becomes silky and all the knots slip right out. Once dry, the hair is soft and shiny. Even if I sleep with my hair not in a braid (a rare occurrence), I still wake up without a nest on my head. The effect lasts for a few washes, so the product is quite economical (again, I’m only on my second bottle and have been using this for about a year). And it’s under $10 - win! It can be bought on eBay or Amazon.
