Online you can get rid of cars by selling them, overwriting them in your garage with another vehicle or destroying them and overwriting them.

I need to get some money so that I can buy some properties in GTA 5 story mode. I know that you can sell cars to do this, I’m just not sure how to do it. What do I need to do to sell a car on GTA 5 story mode?
