Can you solo the corrupted quest?

Aside from the often annoying traps, you shouldnt have any problem doing this either with a group or solo. Keep in mind that the corrupted variant has a 1300 Power Level requirement instead of the previous 1290.

Q: Is the corrupted strike bugged?

Not only is it full of bugs, its the length of two other Strikes, so when a lot of players load into it in the Playlist, they immediately back out.

I finally got the meatball in Gambit and so I naturally went straight into the process of getting my Malfeasance. Sadly my progress was kicked in the balls, as I was led to believe the new version of the corrupted was just the strike version with an alternate route, when in fact this thing seems pretty damn impossible. The elevator section, in particular, is giving me a lot of trouble. The main problem is the sheer amount of psions and the fact that I cannot reliably hit the shielded enemies because the auto targeting of the ball generally hits the psions instead. None of my warlock abilities seem to make it any easier. If I can wipe out the psions right when they spawn then I can get past the first phase, but then there's the taken phase. It's not as punishing enemy wise but there is a lot less room for screw ups. Not even thunderlord seems to be able to clear the psions quick enough.

How to beat the quest The corrupted?

So I got this quest called The corrupted.
I'm supposed to do the quest version of the strike The corrupted but the problem is that the quest version is solo and harder than this weeks nightfall version of the strike.
The ridiculous thing is that the game says recommended level is 750. I'm 1010 and isnt even close to do this quest. I can more or less solo nightfall adept version of this strike but the quest version is impossible. It feels like I'm about to solo the Hero nightfall version of the strike.
I manage to get to the elevator but in there I'm only able to throw 1 relic before I get 2 shottet by any of the 3 big enemies in that room. Maybe Bungie wanted to make this a group quest again but forgot to turn on matchmaking. I dont know but this is far from the solo 750 dungeon the game claims it to be.

So just wondering if anyone have any tips how to do this? It needs to be current information and not based on old information when this quest was lower power level or you could group up with a fire team tho.

Bring a void wep and solar heavy (pretty sure they're shielded like nightfall). I recommend Duke, Last Perdition / Inaugural Address and Whisper. Start off by either backing away and taking them out one by one (try to snipe the taken hobgoblins first) or run past them all through the left, hide for cover and take out the taken hobgoblins and boss. The next wave of enemies at the top can be taken out with the giant rock formations as cover and height.

The real b**** is the elevator. You take out the first few psions, activate the console and run to pop your super to take out the incoming psion army. Keep in mind 3 more spawn alongside the 2 phalanx and centurion. Run around the outside of the elevator like an idiot and grab the relics when it's somewhat clear, go for the phalanx first. Use the relic to move faster with jump melee repeat. Repeat process for the next wave of adds but avoid center.

The next hardest part will be the final encounter. There's a large floating rock you can reach but it takes a long time to mess with the boss AI and to handle the goblin shielding. Be careful, when the boss is low 2 taken witches will spawn. One should agro a moment later, so kill it asap.

I did solo it. It's easy with a taken armament mod and the Anarchy. Shoot the boss twice with anarchy, hide, clear adds, shoot twice, hide, clear and so on.

Because The Corrupted has the Acute Arc Burn modifier active, players should use the new Stormchaser linear fusion rifle to damage the boss as much as possible during the first damage phase, maybe using Supers like Well of Radiance and Moebius Quiver to help.

What is the mission variant of Strike the corrupted?

3) Darkness in the Light - Complete the Mission Variant of the Corrupted Strike : This is a Dreaming City quest with a recommended Power Level of 580. In other words, you'll have to be a top-tier Guardian with a skilled team. You can bring six people in, though, which should make things a bit easier.
