Cheap flights from lax to grand junction

Cons: "There are too many announcements on the screen before you can start watching entertainment. It takes about 15 minutes."

Pros: "Boarding was good"

Cons: "Seats are abhorring, No space for knees. Horrible food."

Pros: "The flight crew and the captain were terrific."

Cons: "Gate agents were rude. Everybody was forced to check-in their carry on luggage due to the small plane. This information should have been shared before boarding. We were informed as we were boarding and had to scramble to remove the laptop from our carry-on and help up passengers behind us from boarding. A totally unnecessary stressful situation created by the gate agents for failing to share information. Once we got onboard we saw carry-ons larger then what we were forced to check-in. Evidently, enforcement of standards is at the gate agents' discretion."

Pros: "Flight came with free entertainment. That's a plus."

Pros: "More leg room"

Cons: "More leg room"

Pros: "Check in was very good. The seats can be more space."

Cons: "I think the breakfast should be better."

Cons: "Ramps up to the plane are a challenge for someone with movement problems. They had a mechanical issue that delayed departure for almost an hour for lack of a single screw."

Pros: "Crew overall was very good and attentive."

Cons: "Seat comfort"

Pros: "Great flight crew!!"

Cons: "Better food menu!"

Pros: "That I arrived on time"

Cons: "Without any kind of entertainment, Some soft music will be better than the aircraft noise.."

Pros: "Woman at ticket counter was great. Was traveling with 2 kids and she moved our seats closer to the front"

Cons: "Old airplane. Upgraded to Business Class. The video system was not working properly, didn’t show images so it was hard to choose a movie or program. The seats are old fashioned, and so are the pods: not as comfortable a flight as on newer planes."

Pros: "Crew was nice and accommodating, and movie selection was great. Flight got was smooth, too."

Cons: "The Tiny seats. I’m smaller (5’7 135 lbs) and was sitting next to a regular sized man (6’ 175lbs) and we had no room."

Pros: "Awfully rude flight attendants Took multiple buses I guess American doesn’t pay good money to the airports"

Pros: "Checking in and boarding the plane went fast and smoothly. The crew was very kind and friendly."

Cons: "I wish American offered more vegan and wheat/ gluten free options, as well as herbal tea options. I was determined to sleep during this flight, but I was hoping this plane would have the TV behind the chair. I enjoy watching the live map as we’re flying."

Cons: "I was rebooked and the process between American and British Airways was very confusing. I was lucky to get a seat on the plane which I had to pay extra for even though I booked in January for an August flight. Also it was crazy that there was no inflight entertainment for such a long flight."

Cons: "I missed all my flights and my bags because of a stupid delay made by the airline."

Pros: "eh, mediocre but usual service from a US airline. Just enough to get you from point A to B, but you’re exhausted once there."

Cons: "too little leg room, and quite uncomfortable seats, couldn’t relax and was cramping from being unable to move more than an inch."

Cons: "Flight was delayed an hour. Poor communication with passengers during the process."

Pros: "upgraded to business, which made for a nice ride home."

Cons: "seat and monitor seemed to have minds of their own, but only caused a minor inconvenience I'm frustrated with AA's information on movies, which is questionable and unrealable. For example, the recently released film 'Coco' was listed as PG-13 and not included in the "Disney" category. "Justice League" was listed as R. There are several other examples of misinformation in their movie listings. For parents who use the ratings as one piece of information to guide their children, it would be nice to have correct information when making selections. this problem is not new; it's been this way for over a year now. I hoped that over time they would get it right, but alas, it remains inconsistent at best."

Pros: "I got there safely."

Cons: "I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."

Cons: "American Airlines won't let you buy emergency row exit seats (or bulk head) because the 'code share' prevents them from advance seat sales. I was told I could do it at check in in Los Angeles. But those seats were sold out long before we even got to LA! I contacted American Airlines Customer Relations about 1 month prior to my flight. I completed their online form detailing the problem and asked if there is any way I could buy extra leg room seats. But they never even bothered to respond. I got the automated email acknowledging receipt of my complaint and assuring me I would be contacted soon. NOT!!"

Pros: "Instead of British, my plane was changed to AA. The plane was very old and outdated. For a long international trip, it was disappointing and scary at the same time. No personal monitors, no phone or iPad charger, dirty and old bathrooms.... just disappointing."

Cons: "Instead of British, my plane was changed to AA. The plane was very old and outdated. For a long international trip, it was disappointing and scary at the same time. No personal monitors, no phone or iPad charger, dirty and old bathrooms.... just disappointing."

Pros: "Great plus amenities if watching flight."

Pros: "seat was comfortable. flight almost on time food was poor"

Cons: "food was poor"

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "AA gate crew checked my bag at the gate, but to the wrong person!! I missed my flight because I had to go find it in baggage claim, take a taxi to another terminal, hoof it across the terminal to TSA pre-check which was 45 people deep and slow as a snail, then run to the gate (which was at the ooooother end I originally entered through). I missed my flight literally by 3 minutes. There was no one at the gate to help me, AA staff kept telling me to go to different places, getting a new flight was INSANE. The whole experience was a pure nightmare."

Pros: "Price, new plane, interactive system"

Cons: "I was forced to check my carry on and pay for it. I was not charged on my way to lax or my trip to Hawaii. Sad. And person was rude"

Pros: "The staff were friendly."

Cons: "Bag drop was unnecessarily slow with long processing lines. The gate area and on-boarding process was a zoo. Business Class seats (opposing design) were spartan and relatively uncomfortable. My upstairs 50B seat viewed directly into the wash room which made sleeping impossible. Food was not good. Overall, this is the weakest Business Class experience of recent memory especially for a newer wide-body aircraft."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, free private entertainment, very nice to be able to charge my devices. Our pilots were great."

Cons: "Still don't like that you have to pay for meals or snacks. I received two meals on my connecting South American flight. Stewards still not all that pleasant."

Pros: "Boarding was quick and easy, no problems or hassles. Seat reclined and was reasonably comfortable. Left early, arrived even earlier."

Cons: "Crew was more robotic than human, which is bexoming a trend on AA. No smiles, no acknowledgment, just doing the job of handing out food and picking up trash. No personal touch whatsoever. Food was subpar for an AA flight, especially international. Entertainment system has many defects and problems, for example "search" is useless. Uninspiring and forgettable film choices as well. The knob to control air flow was broken which made it chilly. To finish as I started, a more engaged and pleasant crew could have made all the other things more palpable and acceptable. They were just too cold, like the temperature in the cabin and distant."

Pros: "Nothing!"

Cons: "I never felt like writing a review but I feel like I should let other families with little ones know. My wife, 2 year old son, and I was boarding at the gate and they couldn't scan my son's boarding pass. They quickly went over to the computer station and gave my son another pass. We went to our seats and found out someone else is in our 2year old seat. Apparently they gave the seat to someone else at the last second because up to the point when I printed our boarding passes at the kiosk, our seats were still together (and I paid $41/per seat extra to try to keep us together). The other customer was nice enough to switch with our son so were able to stay together at the last min so it goes to show AA priority and service."

Cons: "Fight was operated by American. Alaska forced to wait in line and see assistance, then inform that because the flight is operated by American, they won't be able to check me in. Had to walk to a different terminal of LAX wait in 2 more lines and by the time they were able to assist it was too late to check in. Missed the flight, have to rebook a 3 hour later departure, move the meeting and take a flight back 4 hours later that has a layover and adds about 2.5 hours more on the return leg. Not to mention having to pay for the new seat."

Pros: "Easy and customer service at lax was awesome and very helpful!!!"

Cons: "The 45 minute bag time that's it may or may not be able to go 45 mins within boarding ."

Pros: "Great entertainment system at each seat"

Pros: "crew was nice"

Cons: "never was told that a shuttle was needed to get from gate to actual aircraft. I almost missed my flight because of this."

Cons: "The chicken dinner was not good. Also the sound on seat computer was not working and on a 11 hour flight it is terrible."

Pros: "Good"

Cons: "Service"

Cons: "People still using mobiles as we were taking off. Crew seemed not too bothered."

Pros: "The flight was on time, even arrived early. Nice crew and plenty of food/snacks. It was good to have a selection of movies and TV shows to watch, too."

Cons: "The lack of space on such a long flight was painful, and there wasn't much opportunity to stretch my legs. I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

Pros: "The TV entertainment built in the seat."

Cons: "The baggage check in process, the 6 hour delay of my flight, wasting the majority of my day in the airport due to plane inspection. De-planing after boarding. The unorganized line/crowd during the boarding process."

Pros: "As a bonus, I was bumped up to Business class on the way back because the flight was full. The lie-flat seat was amazing and food in Business really was "next level.""

Pros: "New plane with leather like seats and good entertainment system."

Cons: "They lost 1 of 4 bags."

Pros: "The airline was excellent, I am over being cramped in these planes for long flights. Unfortunately living in Australia makes us have to do the long flights."

Cons: "When you are travelling on long flights travelling all night, people in front have seat reclined right back and it is so hard to get out when you need to go to toilet."

Pros: "Upgraded from Business to First on a transcend A321. Seats amazing, hard product is just superb on these planes. Crew good but a bit animatronic as always with AA."

Pros: "Non"

Cons: "I could not change the flight with less payment so I missed the flight and booked another one."

I like the fact y’all get me to my destination on time.

Had to cancel flight as it was delayed by 12 hours

Pros: "They sat my family together and the crew was amazing."

Cons: "The seats are really uncomfortable and the flight was really packed with all this covid stuff."

Pros: "Crew was good but baggage claim took forever. The seating was not well arranged. The seats were very uncomfortable. The weight limit of the bags were unreasonable"

Cons: "Better seats could be better"

Pros: "The crew was amazing, super helpful, very friendly and understanding when it came to social distancing."

Cons: "The seats are not the most comfortable, but the price is right."

Pros: "Quickness, efficiency"

Cons: "Nothing. I received all I expected."

Cons: "The ticket lady was rude just nasty and upset for no reason."

Cons: "Alligient air is an excellent economy airline that flies non-stop to smaller cities."

Pros: "The crew was fantastic!"

Cons: "I wish there was at least a free beverage."

Cons: "Built in headrests on the seats."

Pros: "The plane was clean and crew was very friendly."

Cons: "Delayed departure with no explanation. Other passengers clogged up the overhead bins with small bags, purses and containers of to-go food. Causing me to place my carry on in an overhead bin multiple aisles behind my seat which made for a cluster trying to board and de board."

Pros: "Crew was nice."

Cons: "Not having so many extra charges and having to pay for a carry on"

Pros: "Price of ticket. Crew was efficient."

Cons: "Baggage limitations are not clear: especially when the ticket says no carryon luggage. What they mean is anything that fits under your seat and is under 20 lbs is OK. Seat did not recline. Leg room was poor."

Pros: "Nothing. It is a cheap airline and it shows. It is the worst airline I have ever flown."

Cons: "The crew was okay but it must be depressing to work for a company where you cannot get a glass of water without paying for it. I had never flown allegiant and was not prepared for paying $50 for my carry on bag."

Pros: "Everything was done right"

Cons: "The landing was rough"

Cons: "I dislike their pricing structure."

Pros: "On time"

Cons: "initially assigned to center seat."

Pros: "To be honest nothing"

Cons: "Missed flight any no one was willing to help us pure BS"

Pros: "Availability at last minute was awesome, and the price was excellent. The direct flight was great too!"

Cons: "No frills... no peanuts!"

Pros: "Cheap fare, nice crew, clean plane"

Cons: "Small seating, small snacks , extra charges for anything"

Pros: "direct flight"

Cons: "EVERYTHING is extra payment, even a small carry-on; water $2!!!; seating is extremely cramped"

Pros: "Airport and onboard crew were nice."

Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

Pros: "The price was unbeatable, especially if you don't pay for a checked bag, carry-on, or a soda on the flight. Very smooth flight as well."

Cons: "The plane interior looks like it was gutted, then fitted with hard, plastic seats. No headrests, no privacy for the flight attendants. Everything costs extra."

Pros: "My wife said that this was the smoothest airplane ride she had ever had."

Cons: "The first lady at the check in desk told us the wrong gate. We wound up taking a tram to another terminal, found out that we were in the wrong place, and then made it back just in time to board with a few minutes to spare. Anyway, the airline itself was o.k. and next time I'll check the arrival/departure board. Since we were traveling with only a carry on, it was a good price after all the "frills" were added (pay for carry on, pay to select seat). we still had a price lower than any other airline. So all in all, once we got on the plane it was a pleasant experience."

Pros: "Great cost. Boarding and crew were seamless and pleasant."

Cons: "As with all airlines, it has all the comfort of a cattle car. No drink service - even water cost you money."

Pros: "The original price points for the direct flights are wonderful. You can actually book the week of a trip and save hundreds because those prices will probably still be the best. That is, until you learn about all of their extra fees."

Cons: "Wow, they sure do add extra fees for everything. Watch out. In the end, I bet it was cheaper to book with a major airline like American. They charge extra for each bag, including your carry- on, when you pick your seat you are charged depending on where it is in the aircraft, if you want a drink or food on the plane you will have to pay, if you do not print your ticket prior to arriving to the aiport they will charge you, etc."

Pros: "I liked that they had a direct flight from Los Angeles to Bellingham."

Cons: "The delays were horrendous and a google search reveals this to be so common it makes me wonder if it's not part of their business model. Like, so bad I ended up booking a return flight on Alaska and just ate the extra $300."

Cons: "Flight was delayed almost 3 hours and the plane itself was noisy."

Pros: "Considering the fare was advertised between $350 and $700 with other carriers on Kayak, I took this one for $179, roundtrip, direct from LAX to Grand Junction."

Cons: "When the crew runs to get coffee in the terminal, make sure to do the same. I brought some snacks, but wish I had brought coffee. The man next to me kept creeping into my space which was incredibly annoying, but it was a relatively quick flight. Beats the two day drive from L.A. to Colorado."

Pros: "The speed"

Cons: "Leg room"

Pros: "Nothing about this flight experience was good, with the exception of my overpriced hummus and crackers."

Cons: "Boarding was slow and archaic. Once we were all finally seated they came through 3 times with a paper trying to figure out who wasn't on board. As we taxied towards the runway a lady who felt dizzy coming on board threw up. The crew was obviously panicked and unorganized. We taxied back to our gate and waited for LA Fire for. to escort the ill lady off and clean the area. While waiting to taxi out the second time the flight attended, Tyeesha, was very rude to an elderly gent. He was seated in an exit row and she didn't think him capable. The lady on the aisle of my row volunteered to switch and Tyeesha' s response was a sharp, "Do you want to pay the higher price too?" When the lady next to me said she would gladly pay Tyeesha announced loudly that this discussion was between the two of them and everyone else needed to mind their own business. The lady offering to switch was really embarrassed, as was the elderly gent. Someone else was made to switch with him. They looked disgruntled too. In the air all the flight attendants were sharp and very direct. There were no please or thank you's used. Trash was collected silently and mostly with pointing. The armrest to my left had five flavors of chewed gum stuck to the side of it. My lap tray had grey and yellow sticky stuff on it and I chose to hold my food rather than let the two touch. The floors were untidy. The only reason I will ever fly Allegiant again is if I have no other options. It is 60 minutes closer to my house than SLC and I will be making the drive from now on."

Pros: "Seats were clean and nice"

Cons: "One crew member clearly is a disgruntled employee. It also should be against the law not to provide water without payment."

Pros: "The crew and pilot"

Cons: "Entertainment."

Pros: "At least I arrived to Oakland eventually. A one hour flight turned into a 7 hour wait and flight"

Cons: "7 hours from Vegas to Oakland. I could have driven. I deserve a reufind voucher"

Pros: "Everything was super easy with Allegiant. This was our second time flying with this airline, and even though you feel like you get nickeled and dimed to death, the overall price is still much lower than any other airline. The plane was clean and the crew, both ways were awesome and in-tune with their passengers. Don't be fooled by the pricing, this is really an outstanding airline, we will fly again with Allegiant!"

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "5 hour delay. They offered meal vouchers. For 8 dollar like wtf? But of course they offered them after every place closed in the airport."

Pros: "The flight was smooth and quick once we were in the air..."

Cons: "We waited for another crew from another plane and had to leave almost an hour later than the scheduled flight."

Pros: "Very affordable."

Cons: "Seats are too close"

Pros: "Everything was fine"

Cons: "Hard landing"

Pros: "I sat in the front row so that I had leg room. It was worth the extra 20 bucks."

Cons: "No champagne."

Pros: "The flight attendants were great. Pilots attention to detail..Great."

Cons: "Charging for every little thing including seat choice, bags, snacks. No complimentary beverages or peanuts. Not even water! In the long run, I didn't save money on this trip."

Cons: "The LA to Eugene leg was delayed in departing, but this was an improvement on the cancelled flight from Eugene to LA. Arrived at the airport 2 hours early per their instructions to find the flight was delayed. Thirty minutes later they cancelled the flight and then provided no information concerning the new flight the following day."

Pros: "Flight was on time with a very pleasant staff"

Pros: "Excellent flight! Down side no wi fi connection and no Internet, you must buy all food and drink but hey for cost of the trip worth it!"

Cons: "No internet or wifi"

Pros: "Fast boarding and getting out of plain."

Cons: "The stewardesses were not very professional, but it's ok since you pay so little. Also you can not adjust seat, it's the same position all flight"

Pros: "It is a low cost carrier. You get what you pay for"

Pros: "Having all the rodeo people going to the rodeo to Las Vegas"

Cons: "noise"

Pros: "everything was great everything went smoothly because some of the stuff I had to change at the last minute because I had to get home earlier than I originally planned but everything turned out wonderfully and everything okay even though there was a little delay because of the weather"

Cons: "Every flight has been late or delayed by 1- 5 hours, unacceptable"

Pros: "I liked the price. Crew was very efficient getting everyone on board. Flight was on time. Your crew for the most part was very attentive. I fly between Albuquerque and LAX at least 2x a month. This was my first time with your airline. I am definitely going to use you again."

Cons: "A couple times staff was a bit inattentive. The elder lady in my row spilled her drink all over - on the tray and her lap. I had to ask 3x to get a napkin or something to help her clean it up. After the 3rd time she responded she was getting something but it was after she talked to someone and got a bottle of water for herself. It was unfortunate but overall I found your crew very nice and helpful."

Pros: "Nothing...I missed this flight due to negligence, miscommunication, and incompetence by the front desk agents."

Cons: "Everything"

Pros: "The reps at customer service were very nice and helpful. Kudos to them"

Cons: "I missed my flight to Grand Junction the night before because my plane from Dulles was delayed. So, consequently I had to spend the night in Denver. I was not pleased with that at all."

Cons: "As my mom explained to me, there was a time in the 1960's when flying was a special experience. The flight attendants were proud to do what they did, and treated people with kindness and civility. That is all gone now. It is an ice cold experience. I feel like cattle."

Pros: "It arrived early."

Cons: "Very very noisy young children."

Pros: "Cost"

Cons: "Aircon too cool"

Pros: "I liked the lounge."

Cons: "The boarding process could've been better (no excess of gate changes, overbooking the flight, and kicking people out of their seats). Additionally, the food on board could've been better. My chicken was not chicken and lastly the airline's hard product could've been better, no IFE is a big no-no."

Pros: "The check in process at LAX was very efficient and smooth. and the crew on the plane was very considerate. And the tv system on some of the planes is very enjoyable."

Cons: "There was a technical issue on the plane so they had us get off and wait hoping they could fix the problem. It turned into a 3 hour wait. They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. The lady at the service desk was not very patient (which is understandable since a loy of people had to rebook their connecting flights). But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem."

Pros: "Meals were good, good service, complimentary food and drink at good intervals"

Pros: "We landed ahead of schedule."

Cons: "Connecting United flight was late due to us waiting for a gate for almost an hour. As a result we had to run to the gate to make the Tokyo flight. On boarding, staff were less than helpful in finding spaces for our luggage etc."

Cons: "Not much choice of good movies"

Cons: "Felt very cramped which did not make for a good res eye flight from LAX to EWR."

Pros: "Really great service! Smooth flight!"

Pros: "Very nice people working and good service."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "I had to print out my own labels for my bags. No one told me this . Mind you, I was already in line! I had to go print label. Get in line again. Attendant said I need to put the label on myself. And for me to step aside. I was not gonna get out of line again. No one was there to let customers know of this labeling. People were confused! Then I paid $25 online for my luggage. Then my luggage was over 50 pounds. I was charged $100. So I paid $125 for my luggage. Lax TSA Employees are rude and mean. Yelling do this and do that. Like we prisoners. I will never fly United again. I will let everyone know of my experience. Terrible customer service. Then your screens don't work on your airplane. Cannot watch movies. Therefore your plane is not up to par. But I paid up to $700! Never again. Good luck United."

Pros: "Nothing."

Cons: "My seat was changed without my knowledge or consent and no one was able to tell me why or fix it. I spoke with a united customer service supervisor and have yet to hear from anyome about it."

Pros: "On a recent trip it was very good to be in the new dreamliner and with staff that were enthusiastic and being able to deliver a good product, food and comfort wise was a big bonus. Thank you"

Cons: "The movie not updated. No chinese movie. Love the pillow and blanket at business flight."

Cons: "we received email for the take off schedule changed to one hour early. End up when we arrived LAX and it got delayed 1 hr for take off due to air traffic. So when we arrived at SF, originally we only have 50 mins to catch on the next route to Osaka. There was no gate # provided on our boarding pass and we have to look for the international terminal for boarding. Due to first delay in SF, the time was so tight and the international terminal was so far away, we had to run like HELL and we almost suffered from heart attack. We barely made it and there was no one to help ever. we had to figure out on our own. This was very bad experience and was not acceptable with such poor arrangement."

Pros: "Flight was on time. Everything went smooth for being in coach."

Pros: "Fast flight"

Cons: "N/A"

Cons: "2 of the flight attendants were not friendly and one was flat out rude. They handed out some form that needed to be filled out before we entered Hawaii. When I asked for a pen she said they don't hand out pens and to start asking neighbors, which didn't have any either., however when she came back around to pick the forms up and some people didn't have them filled out she reprimanded everyone and kept saying you had 5 hours to fill these out. Her communication skills were not what I expected and her lectures were not necessary."

Cons: "No reclining seats and no meal. Flew from LAX to CHICAGO. Very uncomfortable. Advertisement for free WiFi on plane, but makes you pay when you log in."

Pros: "Staff was pleasant, decent movies overall."

Cons: "I can't eat mushrooms. Both meals had mushrooms (3 out of 4 entrees) and it wasn't always obvious which ones. Additionally, the second meal with seafood or pasta, the pasta obviously had mushrooms so I chose seafood, even though I don't like most seafood. Mushrooms all mixed in with the seafood, so I had to pick them all out. Also 2 of the accompanying sides had mushrooms. Do they have a mushroom fetish like Cheesecake Factory? Need more consideration for people who may have varying food requirements that are unavailable to address during the booking process. I know you can't please everyone, but why overuse an ingredient that has a relatively low appeal to potential passengers? Will try again, just hope they can use similar customer service in their food preparation as they have otherwise."

Pros: "The seat next to me was empty which made the whole long flight more bearable."

Cons: "Typical United service, without any bells or whistles."

Pros: "I only flew united because it was the cheapest I found for my flight at the time I booked it."

Cons: "My seat 3 of the 4 of my connecting flight seats were broken and could not recline. I could smell urine coming from the bathroom from my seat while waiting for people to board(3 hrs of urine smell will ruin any flight experience). The internet did not work coming back from Central America so if you don't have the entertainment app already on your phone, you couldn't watch any tv since you can't even download the app. Other airlines normally have a monitor so their customers can watch tv and not stain their eyes looking at their phone. But with United, if you don't get beat up the airline, its considered a win."

Pros: "A 3-hour stop over for the connection was not enough!!! The flight to San Francisco was delayed another 90 mins, causing me to miss my 15-hour flight to Singapore, although we arrived 10 minutes before the United Flight! Ten other passengers missed the flight! A travesty! Worse, with "no hotels available", I was rerouted to Chicago for a flight via Tokyo at 1300 the following day! In short, a 30-hour trip became 48 hours of hell and of course an 18-hour delaed arrival in Singapore. But there was more: my luggage was "lost" and thus arrived two days late!!!!! The only saving grace: friendly and helpful UA staff in San Francisco and especially in Chicago. Wow! I deserve some compensaton, wouldn't you all agree?"

Cons: "Please see above!"

Pros: "Comfy seats and they offered a beverage"

Cons: "Our plane smelled horrible: like a bus full of HS boys after playing basketball in Satan's sauna for 2 1/2 hrs. No entertainment options but it was less than an hour flight so didn't really care. Our flight attendant said nothing about our carry on being bigger than the compartments of our tiny plane so we walked to the back with our bag just to bring it bag and them check it"

Cons: "Crew members were not friendly. There was no in-flight entertainment available, and no snacks that were complimentary."

Pros: "Spacious seats, seatback screens, and some empty seats made this a most comfortable flight"

Pros: "Friendly staff, great customer service"

Cons: "None"

Pros: "Really friendly staff, communicative, helpful. Gave good directions. Plenty of leg room on flight."

Cons: "Beyond the control of United, but LAX is a nightmare of an airport. Traffic control caused delays, airport staff more of a hindrance than helpful. Border control mumbling and barking orders at people like they're cattle. Not the best way to welcome tourists, but at least United Airlines crew made up for it with their smiles."

Pros: "The crew was great."

Cons: "We had a long delay with the cabin so I missed my next flight."

Pros: "Staff worked hard to get us bussed to Santa Barbara"

Cons: "We weren't informed early enough that the flight was cancelled, and everyone was a bit confused"

Cons: "Ran out of the food that i wanted... settled with something that wasn't great."

Pros: "First time but I like it"

Cons: "Good experience"

Cons: "I was in the middle seat. I choose my seat too late so that was all that was available."

Pros: "Quick flight to Chicago"

Cons: "The attendant was kind of rude"

Pros: "I think these older flight attendants should retire if they don't like their jobs anymore. They were completely rude to many guest."

Cons: "Letting a passenger who is vomitting in the waiting area on the flight."

Cons: "Heavily delayed, kept getting later"

Pros: "the afternoon coffee, not offered by others"

Pros: "The customer service. They are so polit."

Cons: "Everything was good."

Pros: "Boarding was very smooth, and flight was very timely (landed early)."

Cons: "Male flight attendant was extremely rude. I was asleep when the food was being served and politely asked for a tray of food once I woke up. Fight attendant that I asked was at the time collecting trash and snapped back saying that he had to finish what he was doing first. After about 10 min the lady attendant walked by so I simply mentioned that I was waiting for my food in case he had forgotten or was busy. She asked if I had mentioned it to the man attendant and I told her that I had and that I was simply waiting. She proceeded to go to him (not sure what she told him), but he later came by and angrily handed me my tray of food and annoyingly explained that he had to finish handing the trash In order to then handle my food. I told him that I completely understood, and he AGAIN snapped back saying "oh really? Because I heard you were complaining!" And walked away. The rest of the flight he proceeded to ignore me. I had been nothing but polite to him. The lady across the isle was looking his way and the man next to me made a comment to me that I had done nothing wrong and mentioned he he noticed how rude the attendant was to me. That even if I HAD complained, he was in no place to confront a customer about it. Regardless, I hadn't even complained one bit."

Cons: "We waited on the plane for 45 minutes without explanation...finally we were told the caterer had personnel issues and the food delivery was late. I MISSED MY CONNECTION IN HOUSTON OVER THIS SND HAD TO TAKE THE NEXT FLIGHT 5 HOURS LATER! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Entire crew was very casual and unmoved by my situation....UNited you FAILED Miserably!"

Cons: "No free wifi. No free entertainment. Smaller than a kids small fruit snack bag of trail mix for a 4+ hour flight. Gate issues delaying our boarding-resulting in late take off.- and delayed transit home to last available route of the night- thank goodness!"

Pros: "United Flight cancelled because no available working aircraft. Did not tell us until very late at night. The lines and wait to speak to customer service was extraordinary. Could not get us out until the next day on another airline. They did give us hotel voucher but did not arrive at hotel until after midnight cue to late notice of flight cancellation and long lines at the airport. Sent bag on another flight even though we could not fly out as scheduled. Therefore we were stuck overnight without our luggage, change of clothes, cell phone charger etc... Seems United has these issues more than any other airline. Will avoid flying united in the future"

Pros: "seats were not as terrible as i thought"

Cons: "Food was horrible literally, flight was delayed had ti miss my flight to frankfurt and sleep the night in new york, huge hassle"

Pros: "My wife and I are celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and we spend 6 hours at LAX. Two of 6 hours where sitting in the plane. This is the first and last time I'm flying with United. I'm extremely disappointed and I'm not looking forward to flying back to California on Sunday."

Cons: "I also hate the KAYAK update. I feel like I was being lie to for those this hours. For my experience I should be refund for my trip to San Francisco. On Facebook my experience is mention to all my wife and I friend, family and co workers. Again, I'm not looking to my flight back home."

Cons: "Spirit is difficult to arrange the needs of passengers with emotional support animals, along with congeniality toward the passenger who hopes to travel with their animal. The passenger submitted (ahead of schedule) full legitimate documentation of medical necessity. Spirit requested an expensive letter of medical/health certification from a veterinary. It is not enough to have a letter indicating that all of the animal's health records are accurately documented and up-to-date, it is required that the veterinarian establish a "certificate of health" that only lasts for a 10 day period from the time that it is written. The cost is $100 and if you plan your visit for over a 10 day period the animal must be reevaluated and a new certificate issued for the same cost of $100. Regardless, all things considered, it has become less expensive to just pay the pet carry on fee where no health certificate is necessary. I found Spirit airlines to be less than accommodating to the needs of a traveler with emotional support requirements. Spirit no longer supplies water to passengers during the flight, so don't forget to bring your own, unless you plan to pay the distorted price of a bottle purchase...CREDIT CARDS ONLY!"

Pros: "The pilots were informative and polite."

Cons: "There’s no internet. Added fees for carry on is ridiculous. I flew Delta on outbound and read that my carry on would not be charged on my return flight with Spirit. The crew were not polite. The guy responds to questions, with a “HUH?!”And seemed not well trained with how to properly engage clientele. The plane was totally loaded 40 mins before the take off time, making it difficult to get pre purchased food. I arrive at 10:15 and everyone’s getting on the plane that’s scheduled to leave at 11:05."

Pros: "Zero"

Cons: "Customer service is the worst. I called to modify my flight because lax traffic, after a myriad of options which included a 20hr flight (3hr non stop is what I had) or driving to Vegas to catch a 17hr flight, I was told “well at least your ticket was cheap” by their customer service agent. Worst airline out there, do not use them. On my flight to lax I see how they conveniently charge you less for your bags at the ticketing area where you have no way to check how big your bag is because there isn’t a receptacle like most airlines have to check them. So if you take the chance of your bag being considered a personal item vs a carry on (that costs $55) then you will surely find that receptacle at the actual gate to check your bag where they will charge you $100 no matter what. Perfect setup for the revenue they need."

Cons: "VERY unclear baggage rules - meaning I paid $100 extra for a checked bag after booking, and then also unnecessarily paid an extra $55 for a backpack at the airport because there was not notification on-screen that it was allowed as a personal bag. I then could not get a refund at the baggage counter because they don't do transactions. I am now trying to work out how to get a refund from Australia. I would have been better off taking any other airline and it would have been cheaper than these extra fees. I am so disappointed."

Pros: "Nothing, never got on the plane."

Cons: "I was stuck in traffic before the flight and arrived approximately 50min before the flight. By the time I finished fighting with the self check-in machine and talked to a person, it was about 45min before the flight and I was told I was too late and the plane had already boarded and was full. I asked if I could get on the next flight, but I was told the next flight from LAX to Oakland wasn't until 7AM the next morning. I wound up having to buy a last-minute, one-way ticket on American Airlines just to get where I was going. The man at the counter was very rude and dismissive about the whole thing."

Pros: "Flight departed early and landed almost 40 minutes early. Good service. Nice crew. I paid extra for the big First seat."

Cons: "Still no frills. No internet. No power for your computer. No reclining seats."

Pros: "No delays. Boarding was efficient but not much else. Very basic."

Cons: "I wanted to bring a bag as hand luggage and had to pay $46 each way. I've flown loads and this is the first airline who has charged for carry on."

Pros: "flight attendant was nice, but..."

Cons: "The flight attendant said that i was sick and they escorted me off the plane after i ran to it from check in counter because they were boarding already. I ate literally in the car before i got to the air port, so check in told me to run to make it. the tsa knew i asked people if i can jump ahead in line and they said yes, they all knew i was in a hurry, the boarding door guy knew that i was out of breath and i told him i was out of shape, so dont mind me. I was one of the last people to sit down. So after 15 minutes of me cooling down, and after the flight attendant gave me water, napkins, and an ice pack, then i felt nauseous and i threw up in the bathroom. I felt much better because it was the food that i just ate right before i did all the running. I told them that this is what happened, and as you can see i am sweaty and was in a hurry to make it here. they said for my safety that i need to get off the plane to be examined. I literary purged the full stomach i had after running from one end of the air port to the other. It has been told to most people that you must let your food digest before doing physical activity. I am out of shape and that run over exerted my body. So they had me removed off the plane, after i desperately attempted to make the flight before they stopped boarding, which i did, and I got taken off. Rude."

Cons: "55.00 for a carry on bag?? Are you kidding me? If I had known that when I bought the tickets of course I wouldn't have bought the tickets. For another hundred dollars I could have bought a ticket From Alaska flown in comfort and had free water !!! Instead I had to use that 100.00 for carry on bags! I hate you guys! You're the biggest rip off. I fly an average 3 times a year. I will never fly Spirit and I will tell everyone on all social media not to fly with spirit unless they enjoy getting raped!!!"

Cons: "Really poor leg room. I am 5"9 and my legs were hitting the seat in front of me the entire time. Seats do not recline. I felt like I was in MTA in the sky. Will not use again."

Pros: "Crew were polite and efficient"

Cons: "The extremely high cost to check a bag, almost double very other airline!"

Pros: "We arrived at our destination."

Cons: "The crew was extremely rude and sexist towards a family with kids that were just trying to fasten their seatbelts safely. Instead of helping, they only got angry at the parents for not knowing how to get the seatbelts safely on their children. They repeatedly ignored the wife and kept addressing the husband as if she was not there. It was very uncomfortable to be around and seemed entirely unnecessary."

Pros: "Landing safely."

Cons: "I booked a flight for Friday night red-eye just for it to be delayed by 2 hours & eventually canceled. Due to this cancellation I missed my brothers graduation ceremony that was scheduled for the next day. When I first called they told me the next available flight was in three days. I spoke to someone else who then told me 24 hours was the earliest flight. I took that with no type of credit offered for my major inconvenience. The re-scheduled flight was also delayed by 2.5 hours the following day. Needless to say, I will NEVER be flying spirit again."

Cons: "I had to pay more to check my luggage than I did for my ticket. I've never been in a flight where I had to pay for my Cary on. $59...not even like a standard $25 for 1 check luggage. The. I had to pay another $59 for my checked luggage. Also standard weight is 50 lbs. my suitcase was 54. I could've move things around however spirits weight was 40 lbs. so I got to pay $55 for over weight. I am so distraught because I was excited to check out Spirit but knowing what is standard for other airlines at no point did I receive any information on any of these charges previous. I also had to weight in line for 40 mins. Have never been to a gate that stopped accepting luggage 45 mins. Prior. And I would've checked 45 mins. Prior had they only had 2 people checking in and on em dealing with a patron for 15 mins. Before finally get another person to start checking people in. The flight was so cold that my face was freezing and I think I'll stop there. My disappointment is at an all time low. Only bonus was being switch to a new flight that left 30 minutes later. Also your app doesn't work properly. When it asks me to pick how I rate... there are no words that show up when the pop up with five choices pops up."

Pros: "That the plane actually landed."

Cons: "2 hours late and 5 different gates. The funny part was kayaks notifications of gate changes were faster than Spirits Crew. When I asked if the new information was correct she gave me attitude. Then 10 minutes later reported the new gate that Kayak had already determined. That was just boarding. Paid for the more comfortable/spacious seating which was nice but useless when coupled with seats that do not recline whatsoever. Painful and slightly torturous. Don't fly them you'll save money by choosing someone else. $ to pick seat $ to bring a carry on...those who didn't know that paid somethingnlike $65 at the gate. The worst. Never again."

Pros: "Refunded my ticket with no issues"

Cons: "First, they cancelled my 8am flight at 10pm the night before with no notification. I happened to see it and call to rebook on the next flight, but if I hadn't been checking the flight status I'm not sure what would have happened when I got to the airport. Then, the 10am rebooked flight was delayed for over 2 hours - with basically no communication from the gate agents and no updates to the expected departure time. Ended up getting a refund and rebooking on Southwest - which was a perfectly smooth experience, huge contrast to the clusterf*** of flying Spirit."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Paying over over a hundred dollars to take 1 bag on the plane and 1 checked bag between two people! . No water offered without paying for it!! Ridiculous! !!"

Pros: "absolutely nothing"

Cons: "Spirit is the worst airline in the world. I've never been so dissatisfied with service - except for the last time I flew spirit. The flight was delayed from 10:20 to 11:45. I had checked in the previous day - and printed by boarding pass - so I arrived at the ticketing counter at 10:20 - seeing as how the flight was delayed till 11:45. They refused to take my bag, which I had paid for - and refused to refund me for the USD 45 I paid for checked baggage. The woman at ticketing was stone faced and so cold. She was downright awful to the other woman ahead of me in line. I had my daughter come back and pick up my bag so that I could board the flight - as the ticketing agent said that I could board, just not my bag. The flight didn't end up taking off until 12:15 PM. It was a nightmare. It's ridiculous that the seats don't recline. I suppose you get what you pay for... but the level that Spirit takes it to is just insulting. I told my daughter I will never fly again if I have to fly Spirit."

Pros: "They show the cheapest price advertised then when you try to check in they will charge you 55 for carry on bags, regular suitcases, your seat! And they charge $3 for water in airplane! Ridiculous! The seats in the plane don't decline either"

Cons: "Read above"

Pros: "I reached my destination."

Cons: "The flight attendants lacked professionalism, significantly. One attendant pushed a food cart into my knee and hardly acknowledged her fault. She simply said "Sorry," and then began shouting "Watch your knees and elbows" as she continued down the aisle. Later, another attendant walked by and said to another "Someone stinks in this area." Further, the attendant that made the announcements using the intercom lacked professionalism as well. I am glad I reached my destination, but Spirit Airlines should consider training their attendants to be more courteous and professional."

Pros: "Nothing."

Cons: "I was extremely disappointed when I arrived at the LA airport and was notified that my flight was delayed and therefore I would not make the connecting flight. I asked for Spirit Airline to help come up with a solution. The agents at LAX kept me at the counter for over an hour making me miss my original flight to Dallas. All the Spirit agents kept saying is that corporate doesn't allow them to help. Only option was a refund or flight out of LAX 12hrs after my original flight and take a red eye. I was at the airport with (2) children under the age of 10. The people for Spirit had poor attitudes and lacked any effort to help come up a solution. I ended up having to book a same day flight from Delta Airlines. Delta flew out at 1pm. The (2) kids and myself were at the airport at 9am to catch the 10am flight from Spirit. Long day for us."

Pros: "Cheap flights."

Cons: "We were told our flight was downgraded and that 35 passengers needed to switch thier flight as there was no seats available. We had a group of 5 people and 2 did not have seats. So we volunteered to switch our flights as we were told we would leave the following day at the same time all together, get a hotel for the night, food vouchers and 2 free round trip flights. So when they were switching our flights they booked 3 out of the 5 who volunteered and they told us we could not be on the same flight. Eventually they got us all on the same flight but that was 4 or 5 hours later. In regards to the food vouchers we were informed we could only use them in the airport but we were not allowed pass tsa as we did not have boarding passes. We then asked about our luggage as we had checked them in when we first arrived and they informed us they pulled them out of the flight and they were going to be at luggage claim. When we tried to get our luggage at baggage claim we were then informed that no luggages were pulled and they were already in transit to chicago. So the supervision told us that we could buy whatever items we needed for the night and we would get reimbursed later, which keep in mind we had to take a taxi from the hotel to a target near by. This whole process was ridiculous and it seemed as if no one was able to provide us with accurate information. Had we known it was going to be such a hassel and inconvenience to ourselves we would have never given up our seats to begin with. Pedro was the name of the person at the gate who informed us we would have a flight all together and that was false in which carlos had told him. Rosario at check in was patient and helped the most but she informed us our luggage was going to be available for us and that was false. Zachary manning Katona was very unprofessional and rude to us as well as his coworkers. And edier the supervisor informed us we will get a reimbursement for the items we buy since our luggage was shipped back to chicago, so lets see if thats true or false when the time comes."

Pros: "Spirit Airlines gouged us on our baggage in multiple ways. The worst was forcing us to pay $100 (yes, $100) to check my 5 year old son's TINY little "carryon suitcase" at the gate in Los Angeles because it rose 1/2 inch above the top of their "personal item" measuring bin. I complained, loudly, and they acted like they were doing me a favor by lowering the "fee" (blackmail / protection racket extortion - after telling us in Chicago that the little bag was OK) to $65 With this fee our total costs for our luggage on one roundtrip flight, for a family of four, including an 8 and a 5 year old, was OVER $300! And we packed reasonably, only checking three bags each way, plus the forced checking of the fourth bag on the way back."

Cons: "Insult to injury is their luggage tags, which all showcase the slogan "Save Major Moolah". I will NEVER fly Spirit again, and I will be lodging a formal complaint."

Pros: "My back and neck ache at times, so I like to lean back, which I couldn't do. However I put my big, soft sweater behind my neck, leaned back, and it was fine. Marlys Jensen"

Cons: "Anout 15 minutes after everyone boarded the plane, we were instructed to get off. Multiple times changes to the duration of delay from about 2 hours delayed, finalized to a delay greater than 18 hours. I missed my non-Spirit connecting flight, a required flight to a destination Spirit does not fly to. Am I getting reimbursed? No. I just get 2 $50 vouchers."

Pros: "That was the most turbulent flight I have ever been on, even in a small aircraft. When we were landing in MSP we encountered severe winds and the pilot had to make and abort 2 landing attempts. On the third attempt we were able to land. I've never been on an airplane where so many people were throwing up before! The pilot handled the difficult winds, and massive snowstorm perfectly and I absolutely can't thank him enough. I can't believe we didn't get diverted to Chicago or crash. The flight attendants and other crew are in very good spirits considering the airline they are working for."

Cons: "Spirit s luggage weight allowance is 10 pound less than the other airlines. That makes it difficult to pack winter clothing and boots. Their baggage fees are also higher than other airlines, but you can carry less! The "bare fare" is incredibly annoying, they even charge you for water on the airplane. There is no food available, or maybe one small snack. The seats are so small. I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall and weigh 120 pounds and I feel uncomfortable I can't imagine what a tall or average sized person goes through. The seats are so incredibly hard like you are sitting on a wooden bench. This is one of those cases where you really get what you pay for - a low price comes with a lot of discomfort and frustration. I would never fly on this airline on a flight over 4 hours. The suffering would not be worth saving money. The staff does their best to treat you kindly but you can plainly see they are dealing with difficult circumstances and being pushed to their breaking point. They have to deal with so many miserable, uncomfortable people. I feel bad for them."

Pros: "Nothing!!"

Cons: "Had never flown Spirit before. First AND LAST experience. Don't care that they call themselves no frills. Their customer service is pathetic. Had to wait at the airport for 25 minutes for any Spirit employee to show up at the ticket counter to check my bag. By that time there were about 50 people waiting for help. Even other airline employees and TSA employees didn't know why they weren't there. Also called customer service to have my KTN (pre-check #) added because I couldn't put it in when I booked the flight. Even though he told me he would put it in- he didn't. So NO precheck for me. The seats in the plane are beyond uncomfortable. Like sitting on a hard straight chair -no padding. Charging for carry ons? Really? Checking my bag was cheaper than carrying it on and it's a SMALL suitcase seriously. Do NOT be fooled by the low prices listed. They are deceiving!!! Just trying to give a real review here folks. Not being overly dramatic."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Up charge on everything. Rude customer service. Can't check in at the counter at least at LAX. Missed my flight and had to wait 7 hrs because only 3 of the 12 kiosks were operating at the agents wouldn't let me check in at the counter. By the time I got my ticket printed I had 43 minutes till my flight left. Waited in line just to have an agent tell me I was 2 mins too late. Last check in is 45 mins prior to flight and I had 43 mins left. Complete BS. I will not fly Spirit again. If you think I'm exaggerating read other reviews. Good luck!"

Cons: "These flights would be alright if you have no luggage. A lot of people were told they had to pay for smaller bags at the gate just because they had wheels. And it was an extra $100 per bag at the gate. The only thing that goes on free is a backpack or purse. Otherwise it's $50 right away when you check-in, which they were letting a lot through saying you'd be alright, or $65 before zone 1 is called and $100 there after, this goes for each flight. And as I said, most people got stuck with the $100 because they were initially told they'd be fine at check-in but when they went to board they were told otherwise. There were also issues with scanning tickets and a few people had to step out of line and get new ones. I personally would never fly this airline unless I had no other choice. Spend the extra little bit of money on a better airline; in the long run you will save a good chunk of change."

Pros: "Only their initial "SUCKER PRICE" that does NOT include any luggage or the ability to sit with your family without paying extra!!!"

Cons: "They use an initial "SUCKER PRICE" which does NOT include ANY LUGGAGE or the ability to SIT WITH YOUR FAMILY without paying extra!! $50 extra for each piece of luggage ... EACH WAY1 If you don't pay at the check in counter they charge $100 for each piece of luggage - each way and that includes ANY BACKPACK WITH WHEELS! $25 FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER TO SIT TOGETHER!!!! NO COMPLIMENTARY FOOD OR DRINK. 2 sodas are $5! (can't buy just one) NO none zero entertainment, not even a radio channel."

Pros: "The flight attendants were pretty great."

Cons: "As soon as I sat down and figured out I couldn't move my seat back I knew I had entered a nightmare. The guy sharing my row was a selfish jerk who kept putting his items on the middle seat to claim "his territory". There were 3 babies on the red eye flight who took turns crying, so almost the whole flight was speckled with little baby outbursts of emotion. And the amount of leg room provided is just absolutely ridiculous for anything longer than an hour flight! I'm certain the CEO of the company that runs Spirit Airlinesflies first class on another airline and never flies crappy old Spirit!"

Cons: "Hidden fees everywhere. The money saved is no where close to being worth the discomfort and unreliability"

Pros: "Nothing. I really wish I would have read spirit's reviews before booking with them."

Cons: "I booked a round trip flight through spirit from July 2nd to July 4th for a friend's wedding. Found out the night before my flight that it was cancelled due to "mechanical failure." Since it was on a holiday weekend, all of spirit's other flights for the day were full and customer service (which is also terrible) would not put me on another airline. They offered a refund, which I accepted and have yet to receive, but I had to fork out another $120 to get another last minute flight. And of course they did not offer to cover the extra cost. Tl;dr - booked a flight with spirit because it was cheap and ended up almost missing my friend's wedding because my flight was cancelled."

Pros: "I liked that the plane was structurally sound and well built and that the pilots knew what they were doing - it went up, flew and landed! SUCCESS!!"

Cons: "I remember when SOUTHWEST came onto the scene, people said "It's a cattle call airlines". Well, there's a new leader in budget flying - seats don't recline, if you are over 6'2" your femur will barely fit in the seat space between rows, $3 for anything to drink, and because it is cheap (least expensive) it has all the personalities/characters 'least expensive' will attract. . . and heck, I was one of them! People are great, but when we are crammed into spaces, our egos and inner-judges get all ramped up, and there were plenty of these moments. Nice, friendly airline crew, from front counter to attendants, which also comes with the lack of experience and polish of veteran airline employees. In the future I will ony fly Spirit when I am country hopping and need the least expensive series of flights to get from point A to point B to Point C, and SPIRIT was a leg in that journey. Fly safe and kind everyone! CT"

Pros: "Crew was kind"

Cons: "the bag fees, seat choices, and additional amenities add up. What started as a 286$ flight, turned into almost 400. The ride was very uncomfortable as my fellow passengers had no regards to other people on the plane. The planes are not nice, which is unfortunate for long flights. We were re-routed due to low gas, but the information on getting us back on the plane was minimal and inefficient. The crew really needs to work on communication. What was supposed to be a 4 hour journey, turned into a 9 hour journey. Just not an ideal situation. Won't be flying Spirit again."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "The entire experience. I had to cancel the flight and pay $300 for for another one. The employees were terribly unhelpful and just did not care at all. I will not fly with Spirit airlines again. No one else should I am telling everyone I know."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "I don't like how Spirit Airlines like to penny pinch every customer until your "great deal" on your ticket goes from a good deal to at par with other major airlines and sometimes a bad deal compared to major carriers. Spirit charges you for everything, including water. They don't offer any free snacks, even on lengthy cross country flights. They charge you for all carry on and checked bags. Checked bags will be considered overweight if it's over 40 pounds which is 10 pounds less than most airlines."

Cons: "My flight to LA was delayed by a systems crash, we spent 2-1/2 hours at the gate before departing. My return flight wagon time and I was looking forward to a relatively comfortable flight home, as i'd paid extra for an exit row seat on the aisle. instead, the person who sat next to me man-spreaded into my personal/seat space, shoving his shoulders into my ribs and making the 7 hour cross-country flight, exceedingly uncomfortable. When i voiced my complaints to him, he replied in an entitled and indignant fashion and redoubled his effort to invade my personal space. What's worse, is that this man was wearing a Spirit Airlines uniform and presumably, did not pay for his seat. I will never fly Spirit again."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport two hours early and got to the gate right when they closed it so we missed our flight. When we asked to switch our flight the attendant said that there wasn't another for another two days and then walked away. She came back 20 minutes later and said there was nothing she could do. After about 15 minutes she changed our flight. I got in huge trouble at work because I missed my flight and couldn't afford another airline's flight home. TSA was extremely rude and the Spirit staff was extremely rude as well."

Cons: "Spirit Airlines provides no services (including water), the seats and tray tables are minimal and uncomfortable, and the seats do not recline. The ground staff are so tired of repeating the same company negative replies to incredulous passengers ("$100 to bring on a carry-on?") that they come across as unaccommodating and surly. My return flight attempt to prepay for our luggage on the website ($40 per bag rather then $50 at the kiosk) took over 40 minutes including having to join the Spirit Airlines club which I have absolutely no intention of ever using again. Read the fine print on luggage weight, extra charges, one personal item before you think this airline is a "deal.""

Pros: "Arriving safely at my destination"

Cons: "No literature, no amenities, crowded seats that don't recline, getting nickel and dimed by attendants like carnival barkers for water, sitting next to dehydrated and furious people that just had to pay $55 to bring a carry-on which offset any savings they thought they were getting by flying Spirit, and a patronizing ad campaign that tries to get you excited to be miserable. "[Amenities] just weigh us down." It said something like that on the print out. I feel like not distributing water as a safety precaution in a pressurized atmosphere for a 5.5 hour flight is just begging for a catastrophe because a passenger couldn't whip out his MasterCard quick enough to stay hydrated."

Cons: "Unfortunately, I should have asked around in advance: everything is add-on in cost, so there are prices for an additional carry-on and a steep price for checked luggage. Beverages and the like are also an extra charge, as is choosing your own seat (which, if you are traveling with a family, is just ridiculous). The seating is hugely tight (if you want to pick your seats, it's $10 for each and $25 for any imaginably decent leg room--I say this as a very short person; anyone of average height would be miserable)."

Cons: "they nickel and dime you for literally EVERYTHING. you think you are saving money purchasing a cheap ticket but once you add in your suitcase and God for bid a soda or coffe while on the plane you're at double the cost of the original ticket price. I know they warn you of the small amount of space but my knees were jammed to the chair in front of me, I'm 5'8, so not like I am abnormally tall. it was just a bad enough experience all around that I would advise no one to take the airlines, especially for a long routed trip!"

Cons: "Both flights were substantially delayed causing havoc in the schedules of those picking me up. They have this carryon policy that anything bigger than basically a handbag, you are charged $55 each way!!! This added $110 to my flight!!!! I ending up paying more than my other more sane and professional options. I should of flown Southwest. Then on the loudspeaker in the plane, they talk about what a great airline they are and that you should apply for their credit card. I have to say not one person filled out the application even though you got frequent flyer miles."

Pros: "The base fare includes nothing. Had to pay for seats, a carry on, the weight limit for bags was 40lbs instead of 50."

Cons: "I dont see that I would ever use Spirit again. You book a ta low fare and incur many costs that build up and nearly double your fair. may as well book on another airline and get what you wanted in the first place for the same price. The staff were unprofessional, disrespectful, tired and unkempt. And the flight was delayed, and we were never given a reason. I needed to change my return flight. I was instructed that i would save money by doing it on line. I would have saved NO money, and was able to easily book a new fare for less money with another airline. #NO-Spirit Airlines"

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "The plane was dirty. The ambience is bad. You feel like you are in a cheap motel and you are waiting for the cockroaches to come out. I couldn't wait for the flight to be over and then you get on the ground and you had to sit for another 15 minutes because your gate was blocked. Oh yeah, surprise! The plane was coming into the gate. Bad overall."

Pros: "The help that I received as a handicapped passenger was outstanding . I understand that this is a Airbus plane I feel that the agent booking my ticket should have offered me the larger seat before I got on the flight at least giving me the information about the seat"

Cons: "The pilot had a smooth landing and I told him that I have to give him a 10 on the landing ! LOL"
