What does Chick Fil stand for?

When we first opened our doors in 1967, our founder Truett Cathy wanted the company's name to reflect the top quality customers should expect each time they visited a restaurant. That's why he chose Chick-fil-A: “Chick” to represent our signature menu item, and “fil-A” as a play on the word “filet,” with a small twist.

After selecting their pick up method (walk inside the restaurant or have their meals delivered to their car), customers then pay for their mobile order using a credit or debit card or with their Chick–fil–A mobile payment account.

Is Chick

The new Chick-fil-A at 356 Wilson Ave. NW in Standale will open for business on Thursday, Oct. 14. Regular hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
