Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, February 28, tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a heartfelt conversation with his father. Clyde Weston (James Read) was a rotten dad for most of Ben’s life, but he cares about his son in his own way.

Now’s not the time to hold grudges, so Ben will want to tell Clyde goodbye. He’ll appreciate everything Clyde did to help him escape and give him a fighting chance.

Unfortunately, that chance didn’t pan out and now Ben’s set to be executed in mere hours. Clyde may do some reflecting as the end draws near for Ben. It’d be nice if he could apologize for how he treated Ben when he was younger, but we should see some sweet scenes no matter what. Days spoilers say Clyde will bid Ben farewell and assume it’ll be the last time they see each other.

Of course, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) has other plans! She just found out that David Ridgeway’s (Caleb and Kyler Ends) is Christian Maddox, who has a criminal record and left DNA behind at the crime scene. What Ciara doesn’t know is that Christian now goes by Evan Frears (Brock Kelly), but she’s about to find out.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will get crucial info in Friday’s DOOL episode. It’ll involve Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) killer, so the puzzle pieces will start coming together for Ciara.

It sounds like Ciara will realize Christian and Evan are the same person. She’ll be determined to secure a confession in time to stop Ben’s lethal injection.

Over with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he’ll continue his confrontation with Evan. Although Evan tried to deny any wrongdoing, Rafe wasn’t buying it. He knows Evan must’ve destroyed the background check letters and pointed out that Evan’s real name is Christian Maddox. Rafe will demand some answers about why Evan hid the truth, so this will lead to more drama for David’s bio dad.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefano DiMera aka Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will push for a hostage trade. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) managed to round up the $10 million Stefano demanded, but that’s not good enough.

Stefano will refuse to give Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) back unless he’s given Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in her place.

Days spoilers, updates and news say Justin will lash out over Stefano’s stipulation. He’s ready to secure Kayla’s safe return and end this nightmare, but Stefano will stand his ground. They won’t be able to reach a deal on Friday, but risky negotiations are coming up next week.

Evan Frears (born Christian Maddox) is the father of the late Jordan Ridgeway’s son, David, on Days of our Lives. Now, actor Brock Kelly, who played Evan/Christian, is sharing big personal news in the real-life parenthood department.

DAYS Actor Brock Kelly Becomes A Dad

“After what seemed like an eternal 38 weeks,” Kelly posted on Instagram, “[My wife Adel and I] were finally blessed with our beautiful baby, Adelina Valentina Kelly. Can’t believe I’m a girl dad. I’m more and more excited about this new role with each passing day. Looks like we are going to be those embarrassing PDA parents from the beginning till the end. Mommy and Daddy love you to infinity and beyond, my little Valentina. My most important chapter yet…”

Kelly and Adel, a model and actress, tied the knot back in March 2019. This is the couple’s first child. Well-wishers on Kelly’s Instagram page include former DAYS co-star Paul Telfer (Xander). “Huge congrats guys!!!” Telfer posted, along with a heart emoji.

Michele Maturo, a fitness trainer and pal of Kelly’s, wrote on the actor’s Instagram post, “I always knew you’d be an amazing dad, but starting as a girl dad?” Maturo rhetorically asked. “There’s no better man for the job. This next chapter is the most rewarding and life changing.. welcome to the club, Brock. I love you three with my whole heart.”

Life In Salem

Evan made his debut following DAYS’ highly publicized “time jump” where characters picked up a year after we’d last seen them. Viewers learned that Evan was born Christian Maddox and his biological dad was Orpheus (George DelHoyo). Once Evan’s role in Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) death (he killed her) came to light, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) forced Evan to drive to Statesville to stop Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) from being executed for the crime.

Evan was imprisoned for killing Jordan, but later, he got out and embarked on another reign of terror holding Ciara against her will. He attempted to kill both Ben and Ciara but before he could execute that plan, Evan fell under some debris. He’s back in custody now so it’s always possible — like many great DAYS villains — he could make a comeback and terrorize Salem citizens again.
