Staff determine eligibility for a range of quality services that include Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC), Child Care Assistance, and Workforce Programs, in accordance with Federal, State, and County regulations.

The Customer Access Center (CAC) provides customers access to information on general services and specific benefits by calling 1-844-640-OHIO (6446). If you have inquiries concerning your Child Care, Medicaid, Food Assistance or general status information, our Customer Access Center will be able to assist you. Utilizing the CAC to access to this information can limit your need for face-to-face interaction while addressing your inquiries in a timely manner. The CAC is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except County holidays).

Medicaid Transportation is a service that is provided to all Medicaid eligible customers that reside in Franklin County that do not have transportation to and from medical appointments. All doctors offices and medical facilities must be a Medicaid provider. The Transportation Unit is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except
County holidays).
