Darksiders 2 City of the Dead bridge puzzle

After a lengthy cutscene, we have a chat with our new merchant buddy. After that we are given a new quest: track down the Lord of Bones, and a new collection side quest: The Lost Relics. Head south through the Craglands to get to Leviathan’s Gorge. Before crossing the bridge, look to the left to find Relic of Etu-Goth #1. Cross the bridge and follow the waypoint on your map until you find the Breach.

The Breach

Welcome to The Breach, a short mini-dungeon. Once inside, use Deathgrip to get across the gap in the floor. Once you reach some wall vines, grab onto them, perform a 180 leap, and use a series of Deathgrip targets to climb the wall. Once at the top, find the hole in the floor and jump down. On the lower level, stand on the pressure plate leading to the east corridor which will remove the gates blocking your way for a short time. To get across the gap, just wallrun and jump near the end of your wallrun. Go through the door, and once in the next room, ignore the locked door and head through the north door. You'll end up in a circular arena filled with Skeletal Warriors. Once they are all cleared out, head through the now open east door. You will come to an area with two bridges, with one needing to be extended. Before crossing the first bridge, use Deathgrip on a shadowbomb, and form a trail of bombs from the spawner to the switch on the wall. Go across the first bridge, and before the second bridge, turn around to see your trail of bombs. Shoot one in order to explode the one on the switch, and the second bridge will close. Go over the second bridge, and open the chest for a shadow key. Go back the second bridge and use the wooden beam and ledges to get across the first bridge.

Use the shadow key on the locked door, and follow the path straight ahead. At the end, jump down, fight off some skeletons, and go through the door. Follow the path down and go through another door, clear the room, and continue through the next door. You will now find yourself outside again, known as the Maw. Go across the bridge, and before going through the massive door, go to the right and follow the route until you can jump down on the right. Jump down again and enter the room. Search the upper windows to find Power Stonebite #3. Go back to the big door I mentioned earlier. Continue along the path, but before you go to the right to follow the waypoint, go straight ahead and jump down. Use the switch to reveal a way up. Make sure to be quick because it has a timer. On top of the wall, you’ll find Relic of Khagoth #1. Follow the waypoint again. You come across a Vulgrim mark on your map. Go to him, and as he appears, turn around and shoot Mystic Stonebite #15. Continue to the waypoint, and you will reach Serpents Peak.

The Eternal Throne

You will now see a cutscene with an awesome run from death, and you will find the eternal throne. Go around the left at the entrance and climb up. Go left across the bridge and go further up. Use the vines to go ahead. Now you will see a large object moving from side to side. You will need to time your jump to get on it. Again, time your jump to get on the next ledge, jump on the next object, and onto the next to reach the path again. Go to the left and use deathgrip and the vines to go up, follow the ledges and the deathgrips to go further up, and keep following the path until you reach a hallway. Jump down, continue down the hallway, and go back up. Now you will reach a hole in the floor. Jump through to find a door and a cutscene. After you’ve reached the Eternal Throne, you will meet Draven, another fight trainer in the middle of the circle. Continue down the stairs to find a Serpent's tome. Look at the right side behind a cloth to find Resistance Stonebite #2.

Go back out and up the stairs to talk to the Chancellor. After that, you will unlock your next achievement:

The Gilded Arena

Talk to Draven some more, go on to the Gilded Arena, and you will find Ostegoth. He will be found here from now on. Behind him, you will find Book of the deadpage #11. Continue through the doors, and on the right, shoot Mystic Stonebite #16. Go down the stairs until you reach a door, go through it, and rotate the lantern to the north. Now you can continue through its door. Wallrun across the gap in the floor and go through the door. Go up the stairs, and you will the enter the arena. Of course, he will not come out before we have to get some stuff again. If you’ve noticed, the statues all point at a spot where you can find one, but before that, there are more collectibles to get around here. So turn to the right and go up the wall. Go right and up another wall again, and go left and up another wall. Go left using deathgrip and wallrun to find Relic of Renagoth #1. Jump down two platforms and go through the door shown on your map. Go down the stairs using your wallrun every now and then. Follow the path and go through the door. Clear the room, and look up to the ceiling to find Mystic Stonebite #17. Continue through the door and follow the path until you see a lantern. Go up the platform with the pressure plate, and use deathgrip to get a shadowbomb. Throw the bomb on the corruption to clear the lantern. Use deathgrip to pick up the lantern and carry it onto the pressure switch. Now you can go through the gate and wallrun across the spikes. Go through the hallway until you reach a switch, and use it to get the lantern again with deathgrip. Carry the lantern back down the hallway and go left. Place in on the statue and turn it to the north. Go through the door, and go into the caves. On one of the prison like boxes, you will find Mystic Stonebite #18. Up the stairs, you’ll see a giant with a stone on it. Take the stone and go back, but before you can exit, you will need to clear the caves. Go through the gate that just opened. Continue until you reach the statue with the lantern and turn left. Go through the door, and on the left, you will find Power Stonebite #4. Make sure as you continue to open the chest for the dungeon map. Go up the wall and use the beam to get on the other side. Use the switch to open the door, and you’re on the ground floor of the arena. Use deathgrip to attach the stone.

Go into the hallway where some skeletons came from, and follow the path up the stairs. Go right and up ruins. Go right and go through the door that the cutscene had showed you. You will find yourself in a room with a lantern. Go through the gate that the lantern is keeping open for you, go up the stairs, and go left to collect a shadow bomb. Carry it, and while going back and jumping back to the lantern, throw the bomb on the corruption behind it. Turn the statue to the closed gate and get yourself a shadowbomb behind the corruption you’ve just destroyed. Go through the gate and throw the bomb on the corruption behind the spikes. Go back to where you find the bomb, and go left, wallrun, and turn the statue to open the bridge. Now you can get Book of the deadpage #12. Turn the statue again to the south and pass through. Walk to the back to find another lantern. Take it, then drop it to clear the room first. Get the lantern again and walk back to the statue. Go east and drop the lantern on the pressure plate. Now take the north door to go around. Once you’re around, use deathgrip to take back the lantern from its plate. Go back to the statue and turn it to the closed gate, pick up your lantern again, and go through the opened gate. Go up the stairs and place the lantern on the statue. Now you can cross the large bridge.

Go down the spiral staircase, drop down the first gap, and turn around to find Relic of Etu-Goth #2. Go further down, jump over the next gap, and go through the door. Clear the room and continue south. You now can see stone number 2, but before you can reach it, you need to clear the room. Take the stone as soon as you're finished and go back along the path to the right. The gate will open for you. The room you are now in is a weapon storage, so make sure to smash the weapons to get some useful stuff. Go through the next door and go straight, go up the wall, pull the switch, and go through the door. Put the second stone into the statue.

After that, go in to the hallway on your right, and follow the stairs up. Go right and go through the door above the statue. Clear the room. Go through the next door and take the door to your right. Follow the route to next door and… clear the room again. Continue west, step on the pressure plate, and get the shadowbomb with your deathgrip. Go to the platform behind you, and once on it, throw the bomb on the switch and you will see the platform you are on rotate. Now you’ve reached the third stone, and you will encounter a mini boss. He has a shield, so you have to dodge and hit him. After that, take the third stone and go back through the rotating platform and pull the switch as you go. Go back over the bridge and go straight through the door. Continue through the second door, jump down, and put the third stone in the statue. As soon as you do that, an enemy will come. It’s gnashor, and he will travel underground, so keep dodging him while he is underground, and as soon as he sticks his head out, grab him with your deathgrip and keep smashing him. He will go down again and use a roll attack on you, so keep dodging until you can use your deathgrip again. Wait, this sounds way to easy? Yes it does! As soon as you hit him for the second time, he will get up and become his “normal” form, and it is boss time!

Gnashor

Moves:

Slam attack: He will try to hit you with his head/ spine/ tail.

Foot smash: He will try to step on you.

Scream attack: He will yell at you, but his head becomes vulnerable for deathgrip.

Underground attack: His head/ spine/ tail will go underground to haunt you.

Swing attack: He will grab his head/ spine/ tail and swing it at you.

Strategy:

When he uses slam attacks on you, dodge to the side around him, and attack him from behind. Keep dodging and smashing until he screams at you and his head becomes purple. Use your deathgrip to smash him, and he will fall into pieces. He now will go underground and follow you, so run around a bit, and as soon as the earth starts to crumble, dodge forward. He will stand up again, and you have to repeat this 3 times in order for him to die. He will use several of the attacks named above.

Fast travel to the Eternal Throne and go talk to the Chancellor. He doesn’t seem that happy, but he will grant you access, giving you the next achievement.

A cutscene will play, and you will receive a power that’s called interdiction, which can control the three dead lords you’ll have to wake.

Talk to the lord of bones some more and then go behind his throne to collect Relic of Etu-Goth #3. Go back outside and go to Draven. You will notice that he sells moves, and you need to purchase all of them, so by now, if you have enough money, buy all of them. If you don’t have enough, you’ll have to come back here later.

Fast travel to the gilded arena and now go way back down the stairs and go through the door. Pull the lever, and go through the door. Follow the right side of the cliff until you find Relic of Renagoth #2. Now use your fast travel to go to the maw (Phariseer’s area). Cross the two bridges and go right. Go straight up the wall and use the vines to get all the way up. Keep right until you go around the building and use more ledges to go up. Turn the lantern statue 180 degrees.

Fast travel to the maw (breach area) and go inside. As soon as you enter, turn around to climb up some ledges. Take the ledges to the right and go further up. Go past the statue to the other side, and you’ll see on the wall Resistance Stonebite #3. Turn this statue also 180 degrees. Now if you want all those chests we’ve come for across behind the gates earlier, now you can fast travel back again and go all the way up.

Phariseer's Tomb

Now go to the door at your waypoint. Go inside and smash the crystal on the platform to go down. Go straight through the next door and again through the next door. Go right up the wall, grab a shadowbomb, and throw it at the corruption to reveal a large column. Go back down and get the column with your deathgrip. Push it right in front of the gate. Get another shadowbomb, go and stand on the pressure plate, and throw the bomb on the column. So now the column will hold the gate open. Go through the door behind it. Now you will come in a room with another elevator, but before you use it, go straight through the door, and behind the statue at the end of the room is Book of the deadpage #13. Now go back to the elevator and look above crystal IV to see Mystic Stonebite #19. Now hit crystal II, and you’ll see you cannot enter yet, and you will fall down a flight. Go out to the east, and wallrun up the left to find Book of the deadpage #14. Jump back down and go back to the elevator and go north.

This room is another puzzle, so to solve it, go left up the wall, keep following the ledge to the right, and push the switch. Now use deathgrip to go to the other side and open the chest in front of you for a dungeon map. Now turn around and get the bomb from the cage, and throw it on the switch across the room. Now go back to the door from which you came and now, shoot the bomb and use deathgrip to go across, while the cages switch height again. Open the chest to get a key. Go back to the elevator and kill the enemies on the way. Note: this enemy is more easily killed when using the deathgrip.

Now go to floor III and use the key on the locked door. Go up the stairs and go right. You will be locked up in the room with some of the undead witches you fought before, and as soon as they are dead, you’ll have to fight a undead general. Kill him too, and make sure to smash all the crates when the fight is over to find Relic of Etu-Goth #4. Go further north and follow the path. Now you're back in the elevator room, but don’t drop down. Use the ledges to get to a door. Once through it, right ahead is a Power Stonebite #5. Shoot the bomb and clear the corruption, use the beams to go down and right, lean back to the next beam, and use the vines on the right hand side to go and pull the lever. Jump down and use deathgrip to pull the column of its ledge. Push the column across the bridge. Push the column on the platform in order to let it move up. Go back over the bridge and uses the vines on the left to go up. Use the beams again to go back up and go back through the door. Jump on the elevator and go to floor II. Go west, step on the pressure plate, and then roll over the spikes fast. Well, as you might have expected, it’s boss time.

Phariseer

Strategy:

This guy is not particularly hard to deal with. He just moves and attacks like regular enemies, so I’m not going to write down his moves. All you have to do is keep dodging and fighting. There will be a lot of skeletons, so if you just keep swinging and use your ghouls and crows if you have them, you’ll be fine!

When you’ve defeated him, he now can be summoned. Stand on the plate to summon him and send him to the pressure plate on the other side of the gate. Now you can fast travel to outside the Phariseer’s tomb.

Ride the path south, and before you go inside the building you see, look up the structure to see Mystic Stonebite #20. After that, go inside and summon your lord, and send him to the switch behind the left gate. You, on the other hand, will go through the right gate. Follow the wall up on your left and follow the route until you encounter a chest. Jump down and follow the stairs down. You will find yourself back outside, but before you head out, turn around and go up on the wall left of the door. Once you’re at another chest, look to the south wall and shoot Power Stonebite #6.

Ride the path north. You will see the Maze in front of you, but we’re not going here just yet because we are not leveled up enough. Once you stand before the Maze, turn around to the right, and follow the cliff to find Relic of Etu-Goth #5. Ride back from where you came and turn left to follow the waypoint, cross the bridge, but before you go left or right at the end, you can find Book of the deadpage #15. Follow the road south but not to the door go up the hill left of the door. At the end of the hill, behind a rock is Relic of Renagoth #3. Go to the handhelds you see on the right cliff, so follow the path up and down to find a chest. At the chest, turn around and shoot Power Stonebite #7. Jump all the way down and back outside. Now go to the waypoint.

Judicator's Tomb

Once inside, go straight ahead through the next door and take a right, summon the lord, and send him to the lever in the cage. Go through the door that just opened. Look up to find Power Stonebite #8. Go west and clear the room, pull the lever, and summon the lord. Send him to the pressure plate behind the gate. Go back, jump in the pit, and push the column between the two platforms. Climb back out of the pit on the west side. Now you can cross the pit. Go through the door, and a cutscene will follow. You need to find three souls.

For the first soul, go through the west door and cross the bridge. Go through another door and clear the room. Continue the path until you can summon a lord again, and go with him through the door and send him to the plate across the open bridge. Cross the bridge and send the lord to the east. Use deathgrip on the lord to get across. On the right side, you will find a chest with a dungeon map. On the left, there’s a bomb, so throw it on the corruption on the bridge. Take the lantern off the wall and hang it on the statue. Turn the statue west and send the lord on the plate. Cross it and go through the doors. Go right up the wall and climb the tower and collect the first soul. Fight off the enemies that just spawned. Jump down in the water to find Relic of Khagoth #2. Go back to the Judicator Lord and speak to him to give the soul. Go through the eastern door and cross the bridge. Clear the room, and you’ll get another Boss!

Tormentor

Moves:

Slam attack: He will try to hit you with his hook.

Push attack: He will try to push and hurt you.

Acid attack: He will throw half a circle of acid around him.

Strategy:

This guy is also not that hard to deal with. Just dodge and attack. However, you can find yourself a little under level with these guys, depending on what difficulty you started on.

Go up the stairs in the north and summon the lord and send him to the pressure plate on the right. Wallrun the left side of the room to get to the lord, go through the hole in the wall, and you’ll find the key from the chest in this room Book of the deadpage #16. Turn around and use deathgrip to go over the gap, follow the path, and pull the lever. Go back down the stairs and climb the wall on your left. Follow the ledges to the chest and drop down one level to find Relic of Etu-Goth #6. Drop down another level in order to get back up and return to the lever. Continue the path and clear the area. Go through the door and turn left for a chest with a key. Go back to the lever and drop down the hole on your right. Go through the door, go down the stairs, and open the door with your key. Go up the stairs and climb the tower on your right. Continue going up using deathgrip until you are on the tower. Free soul number 2 and clear the platform. Drop down on the east side to land in front of a chest, walk past it, and carefully drop down for Book of the deadpage #17. Head back through the doors and across the bridge to turn in the second soul. Head through the south door and use the handholds to get across the hall and go through the door. Summon a lord, and go to the elevator. Clear the room. Hit the crystal to the second room, send your lord to the pressure plate on the west side, and go east yourself. Climb all the way up and across the room, and once on the platform above your lord, send the lord to the west pressure plate. Climb further up and across to reach a bomb and throw it on the corruption. Jump on the elevator and go through the door south. Go up the stairs and use deathgrip to go up. Walk around the square to find Book of the deadpage #18. Go to the circular room and free soul 3. Search the ceiling for Mystic Stonebite #21. Head back, but before you leave, clear the room. Use deathgrip to kill the hanging skeleton. As soon as you're done.. oh wait … are your done? NO! Boss time…

Bone Giant

Moves:

Slam and smash attack: He will swing his arm and then smash with the other.

Stretch attack: He will stretch out his arm.

Strategy:

You can beat this guy easily by dodging and hitting him. You should be able to use a finishing move () rather fast on him.

Go back and jump down in the water, and continue through the door. Ride the elevator back to the first floor and go back to the main area. Return the third soul and a cutscene will follow. Go back through the north door to go back outside.

Note: if you ever want to revisit this place, it looks like it’s not possible without interdiction but it is. Use your soulsplitter (you get it later on) and put the statue on the movable column, then transport yourself by pushing the column to the other side. Return to your physical self and voila!

The Psychameron

Now fast travel to the Gilded Arena, and pass through it by going down the spiral stairs and going through the first door. Turn the statue 180 degrees and enter the arena. A cutscene will follow, and you are now at the Psychameron. Clear the area. Continue through the door and summon your lords, go stand on the plate in the east, and send the lords to both the pressure plates. Go through the door and again summon your lords. Go send one on the pressure plate on the left and send the other lord to the next across the bridge. Now continue and send the first lord to the plate on the right downstairs floor plate. Use deathgrip on the lord to get yourself across turn around and see another plate in a cave. Send the second lord to it. Use your deathgrip on him to get across, follow the path, go left as soon as you can, and push the switch for a shortcut later on. Go back down and continue the path, drop down, and go through the door. Summon your lords, and you will see you can send them to three switches. If you do this in the incorrect order, enemies will spawn, so send the first lord to the middle switch and your second to the right switch. Send one lord to the left switch after that. Collect the key from the chest. Go through the door and climb up lean back and jump on the platform behind you, and use deathgrip to go up a level to find Relic of Renagoth #4. Jump down and use the key. Summon the lords and stand on the pressure plate yourself, send one across the other side, and then go to the gate he opened for you. Before you go and use the handhelds, look down to see another pressure plate. Send the second lord of there. Go across the ledges and hang on to the beam to deathgrip over there using your lord. Follow the path, go up right, and push the switch for another shortcut. Go back down and follow the path until you reach a gate, and send a lord to the plate. Go through and push the switch, continue, and go up the stairs. Go left to find your first lord. Go and take the next door on your left and go down the stairs. Summon the lords again and clear the room. You will encounter a Bone Giant again, but I’m sure you know how to deal with him now. Continue through the door and wallrun to the left. Push the switch and go through the doors. Once outside, turn around and shoot Mystic Stonebite #22. Now go down and cross the bridge, and go right to find Relic of Etu-Goth #7. Go back and continue the path. You will walk into a dark room, and you will meet another boss.

Basileus and Achidna

Note: Achidna is one of the creatures for the sidequest from Thane.

Moves:

Basileus fast forward attack: He will shoot forward.

Basileus slam attack: He will jump and slam the ground

Achidna electric attack: She will move forward using electricity to hurt you.

Achidna Jump attack: She will make a big jump to attack you.

Achidna smash attack: She will you her two front legs to smash you.

Strategy:

Basileus will fight for a couple of seconds on his own, but Achidna will soon come and they will join the same health bar. Basileus will ride Achidna, dodge the electric attack and keep hitting her. At this point, this is not so tough to dodge, but it will get tougher as the heal bar drops. Eventually, you will automatically pull Basileus off Achidna and continue the fight. Make sure to dodge him and use deathgrip to get in his range to attack him again. Every now and then, Achidna will drop from you out of nowhere, but I didn’t find a way to predict it, so make sure you use a health potion in time. After that, Basileus will ride Achidna again, and here is where she really gets crazy. She will throw all her attacks on you, so make sure to concentrate on your dodging. Attack when possible and use your health potions!!

Once you beat them, you will be rewarded with the next achievement!

Fast travel to the Eternal Throne and go to the Lord of Bones. Make sure you don’t need to go anywhere else before you go, because I’ve pointed out that the next part can be glitchy. A cutscene will follow, and you’ll get the next achievement.

City of the dead

To open the door to the city of the dead, use your soulsplitter to move both pillars to the side. Go through the door, cross the room, and go through the 2nd door. Again, cross the room and go through the door. On the platform on the right, you’ll find Book of the deadpage #19. However, clear the room first. In order to open the next floor, split your soul on the left pressure plate, go with your first soul to the one behind the gate, and go with the other to push the switch. Go back to your physical self and go through the door. Go to the north door and find on your right side Relic of Renagoth #5. Go through the west doorway and follow the path, wallrun across the gap, walk past the statue, and go through the northern door. Continue and go through another door. Use your soulsplitter in the middle of the room, and use the first soul to pull the lever. Go with your second soul through the gate and collect the bomb on your left. Go back and throw it on the switch. Now you get a floating platform. Use your soulsplitter again on the platform so that your statue stays on it. Now you use one soul to pull the lever and the other to push the platform through the gate. Return to your physical self, go right up the stairs, and jump down the gap on the right. Open the chest to get a key, push the switch, and go to the door for which you needed the key. Go through it, and you find yourself on a bridge, but this bridge can turn, so split your soul on the middle of the bridge and use one soul to go up the wall at the end right side. Go around with the handholds and use them again to get in between two walls, wallrun up, using both of them and search on the left for Book of the deadpage #20. Now pull the lever. Use the other soul to go north and find another switch. Push it and return to your physical self. Now go through the west door. Go to the right and fins a lantern in a nook. Carry it across the room and go into the west path. Follow the trail, put the lantern down, wallrun across the gap, and use deathgrip to reach for the lantern. Hang the lantern on the statue. Turn the statue south and collect Book of the deadpage #21. Turn the statue west to raise a bridge, and go through the west door. Use the vines to go up and the handholds to go left, lean back, and use deathgrip to go to the other side. Climb further up with the vines and wallrun to the right. Jump down and go through the door, walk forward, and clear the area. Split yourself in the middle corner of the bridge, and go the most southern point in this room to get Relic of Etu-Goth #8. Pull the lever right in front of the relic. Unsplit and split again, use one soul to get on the wall switch and use the other to go south, clear the enemies, and as soon as you find a chest, look up and shoot Power Stonebite #9. Head back to your first soul with your second soul and collect the bomb in front of him, go across the bridge, and throw the bomb on the switch on the far left wall. Unsplit yourself and go through the door that’s been opened. Wallrun across the hall and push the switch and go through the door. Run over to the east side of this room and open the door. Push the switch, go down to the lever, and jump from there on to the bridge. Now we go through the east door. Clear the room, and maybe you want to use your reaper form once they unleash two Tormentors.

Continue through the next door and jump on the lever, but watch out, because as soon as you're able to move again, the floor will rise, and you have limited time to get out of this pit, so move fast! Once up pull the lever, go through the door and up the stairs. Go left and wallrun to get a chest with a dungeon map. Go back and follow the path, clear the enemies, and once they are dead, look up the north tower to shoot Resistance Stonebite #4. Follow the path and clear out the enemies again. Continue up and clear the enemies once more. Go through the door and wallrun the right wall and cross using the beams. Go through the door and head around the room to the west door. Continue on the path. Go up with deathgrip and use the beams to get across. Split yourself and use one soul to go stand on the pressure plate, and use the other one to go on the handholds that just revealed. Now step off the pressure plate, and your soul who’s hanging there will enter a secret room were you will find GnoMad #1. (You need to collect 4 of them). Return to your physical self and split again in order to use the same handholds to get across and push the switch. Now unsplit and go through the door. Push the switch and use deathgrip to find yourself on the platform with the big skull and the laser. Turn the skull west and jump across to get through that door. Clear the room. Take the bomb and clear the corruption in order to climb the vines. Head outside, open the chest to get a key, go back inside, jump down, and head through the east door. Jump down, cross the room, and go up the wall on the east side to use the key on the locked door. Smash the crates in the corner to find Book of the deadpage #22. Use the handholds to get across and keep following the handholds along the path until you can use a beam to drop down on a platform. Go the edge and jump down again, split yourself, and set one soul on the pressure plate on the left and go and collect the floating platform with your second soul outside the gate. Now unsplit and go and stand on the platform, split yourself again, and now set one soul on the left again and use the other to push the platform with your statue back inside. Now use your first soul to stand on the right pressure plate, and use your second again to push the statue behind the second gate. Now unsplit and push the platform on the pressure plate in order for the door to open. Push the switch and collect the bomb. Throw it on the corruption on the back of the big skull. Use deathgrip to get on the platform and push the switch. Now turn the skull to the north in order to get to the next room. As soon as you go through the doors, you will find yourself another boss!

The Wailing Host

Moves:

Two hand smash attack: He will smash his both arms on the platform.

Fist slam attack: He will slam his fist on the platform.

Arm swing attack: He will swing his arm across the platform back and forth.

Achidna Jump attack: She will make a big jump to attack you.

Achidna smash attack: She will you her two front legs to smash you.

Strategy:

To beat this guy, you need to dodge backwards if he does his two hand smash, dodge sideways for his fist slam, and dodge forwards for his arm swing. While you do that, you have a little bit of time to attack his exposed hands or head, depending on what move he did. After you’ve hit him a couple of times, he will go down the hole and summon skeletons. Kill them all so the host will return. Now his fist slam attack will be two strikes instead of one, and the skeletons will come and help him. I did this by staying close to his face and keep swinging. That way, I hit him a bunch of times as well as the skeletons, and the only thing that will really hurt you is his two hand smash.
