Do I take Magnus or Ellegaard armor?

Q: What happens if you take Ellegards armor?

If you take Magnuss armor, he will die in the battle, If you pick Ellegaards armor, she dies.

In season 1 you can choose who dies by wearing their armour. But canonically Mangus dies in season 2 because Olivia said she's going to help Ellegaard with something and Axel said about becoming the leader in boom town

How is that canon though? When Ellie dies the exact opposite dialogue is exchanged.

I think it’s most reasonable to choose magnus’s armor, he pretty much lives in explosions, why does ellegaard even need armor lmao although in the end it doesn’t matter just decides who dies (u_u)

I went to find Magnus with Axel, but ended up killing him by taking his armor.

I chose Ellegaards because I liked the design of it but I hated her anyway I went to get her and I said we shouldn’t make the command block because I knew it would just get destroyed by the witherstorm

Ellegaard, mostly because I already seen what happens when you go with Magnus

to the new players still early, an easy answer to which to choose is:

If you like watching a cool TNT competition- Magnus (Boom Town, land of the griefers)
If you like to talk to interesting people and catchy music and a nice view- Ellegaard(Redstonia, land of the nerds)

I was gonna pick Magnus but I seen a youtuber pick it and went into boom town, so I ruined the chance for me.

I actually like Magnus a bunch more, his arrogant personality and voice are just so funny and cool.

I just picked Ellegaards armor because I felt sympathetic to her, just because of her soft voice.

Without that voice, I would've destroyed her little ass.

Important choice #1

The first important choice that you make is in the first chapter of this episode. It is p to you whether you save the amulet or your companions.

Save Amulet - this leaves your companions in the hands of Lukas.
Help Reuben and Axel - this leaves the amulet in the hands of Lukas.

Regardless of what you decide here, further story will be unaffected. Nobody dies and you have saved the amulet. The difference between the two choices is that it meets Petra's/Gabriel' disapproval, if you decide to save the amulet.

Important choice #2

Another important choice is the one that you make at the Edge. You can leave it to Lukas to lead the party to the exit, or do that yourself.

We'll follow Lukas.
Follow me! - you waive Lukas's offer and lead the companions to the exit yourself.

Which decision you make affects Lukas's behavior. Whichever option you pick, the story remain unchanged and the difference becomes apparent later, during a conversation, when you learn that Lukas is dissatisfied with the missed opportunity to distinguish himself.

Important choice #3

The third important choice is about giving Reuben high five. At the moment, at which you are looking for the lever, you need to approach Reuben and select the "High Five" option.

This choice has no consequences.

Important choice #4

The fourth important choice concerns Petra's/Gabriel's secret. During a conversation, Lukas will ask you if everything is fine with Petra/Gabriel. At this moment, you can answer him that all is fine or tell him Petra's/Gabriel's secret. The difference occurs when you are talking to Gabriel/Petra for the second time.

This choice has no consequences in this episode.

Important choice #5

Te last important choice you make occurs in the sixth chapter of this episode. It is up to you which armor you want to wear during the battle with Witherstorm.

Take Ellegaard's Armor - As a result of this choice, you sentence her to death during the battle with Witherstorm.
Take Magnus' Armor - As a result of this choice, you sentence him to death during the battle with Witherstorm.

If you take Magnus's armor, he will die in the battle, If you pick Ellegaard's armor, she dies. This choice has no consequences in this episode.

Who should I pick Magnus or Ellegaard?

Just pick the one you want to be friendliest with. If you leave Axel behind, he gets Magnus too all by himself. When he comes back Magnus decorates the enterance with stone. If you leave Olivia with Lukas she'll find Ellegard too by herself, comeback, and Ellegard decorates the enterances with redstone and iron.
