Four are in the typical location adjacent to the bearings, and since we have a longer skirt block there are also bolts going in from the side of the motor. How many main bolts does a 5.3 have? This listing is for a complete set of replacement Head Bolts compatible with 2014-2018 GM 5.3L Vin "C" (L83) and 6.2L Vin "J" (L86) GEN V engines. Consist of 19 long head bolts and (1) Short Torx bolt used on driver side at the front on the intake manifold side only.
Is a 5.3 a LS1 or LS2?The 4.8 L and the 5.3 L are smaller truck versions of the LS1 and were designed to replace the 305 and the 350 in trucks.
Is a 6.0 a LS1 or LS2?LS2 is designed with a 6.0L motor. Through this, it is able to flow enough air to be able to maintain 400 horsepower. For LS1, the intake is designed for a 5.7L and flows enough to keep a 350 horsepower. The latest model of the LS1 engine came with an LS2 intake, which has better horsepower.
