It did connect and then there was an upgrade. Now I can't connect the phone does not see the Handsfree Link at all :-( 10th Gear Thread Starter

Step 1: delete phone from acura interface Step 2: on iphone in settings/general/reset/click "reset network settings" and phone will reboot Step 3: after phone reboot change name to anything without using the word iphone and keep it at one word Step 4: re-pair phone to car Step 5: celebrate Pro

The phone does not even see the car when I go to pair it it just twirls around and never shows up.. 10th Gear Thread Starter

When I try to pair it says no phones are found and the car never shows up under the devices to pair with. 10th Gear Thread Starter

Read somewhere that IOS 9+ wouldn't work on our older cars with the older BT technology. Paired just like all the other phones. Good Luck OP. 1st Gear

I have tried pairing my iPhone 7 with my 2006 Acura RL. My phone does not find the car, or vice versa. I made it to the PIN stage and the car searching for the phone. That's the last place it went. Could you help me with this? I've tried since I bought the car and nothing has worked for me, but this is as far as I've ever made it. Thanks! 1st Gear
