I've got my oldest brother's original pressing. I have yet hear ANY ELO album that doesn't sound AMAZING on vinyl. This one's no exception to that rule.
Just echoing what others have stated on how good this record sounds. Mr. Blue Sky will just blow you away. Mastered by Stan Ricker who later went on to Mobile Fidelity and Acoustic Sounds. Highly under valued recording in my opinion. A real sleeper that you can probably still pull out of the $5 bin with a VG cover.
Found a fairly abused copy for $3. Decided to give it shot.
The mastering is so good the music tampers out any crackles and pops.So so so good! I’ve loved this album since the day it released.
This is the 1/2 speed mastered pressing by Stan Ricker. Excellent sound quality if you find a quiet copy.
