Emergency services rushed to the scene at the intersection of Oday Road at around 10.25 am yesterday morning.
The two drivers were sent to Mildura for medical treatment, one then flown to Melbourne with life threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the collision.
A driver has escaped injury, after his truck reportedly caught fire on Millewa Road in Pirlta.
The truck was carrying a load of hay, officers believe the incident occurred at around 3.30 pm yesterday afternoon.
