Depends, what are you using to control?
Get some momentum by running or spinning before letting them go at the right moment.

I have two different methods of throwing that you can go ahead and try out, both are keyboard.
Method 1 -
- Grab a player with both arms using the LMB and the RMB.
- While still holding down on the LMB and the RMB, hold down the Shift key - which lifts them up.
- Finally, release Shift first, and then before the player you are holding hits the ground, release the LMB and the RMB. This throws them a couple feet.
Method 2 -
- Grab a player with either the LMB or the RMB (not both at the same time).
- While grabbing the selected player with the arm you chose. If the player you are throwing is not knocked out - start holding down Shift.
- Finally, if you are holding them up with your left arm, start walking in a clockwise circle / or if you are holding them up with your right arm, start walking in a counter-clockwise circle.
- Finally, once you have built up momentum, release either the LMB or the RMB (what ever you button you chose to use so you could lift the player up) - and the thrown player will be launched quite a few feet.

I'm happy that gandorques and I could help you a year and a half later hahah np
i like to grab them, drag them across the floor until i get the the area i want to throw them and lift em up and release at the top point, while still walking towards the throwing destination.
I like to use an OP technique of mine that sends them flying by punching them :).
