GLO Effex Phosphorescent Glow in the Dark Paint is a transparent when dry acrylic paint that when charged with light can glow for hours.

Expose the paint to sunlight or bright light for at least one full minute or up to 15 minutes to fully activate the paint. The Strontium Aluminate based paint goes on milky white and dries transparent and durable.

Does glow in the dark paint go on clear?

This paint can be applied to nearly any surface. Painting onto white or light colored surfaces is ideal, but not required, because it increases the charging and amplifies the glowing effect. The paint dries to a hard, clear, water-resistant finish that is nearly invisible.

How do you make glow in the dark paint invisible?

To make the DIY fluorescent paint, just create a mixture in each mason jar of 1:2, with one part powder to two parts paint. The more powder you use, the thicker the paint will be. Next, “charge” the paint by placing it in a sunny window or by using a flashlight. The more light you expose it to, the longer it will glow!

Is there a paint that glows in the dark?

Acrylic phosphorescent paint is suited for all weather conditions that will glow for many decades. The glow paint will charge automatically from any light source such as sunlight, UV black lights, or indoor lighting.

Is glow in the dark paint invisible by day?

This paint works best under a UV or black light for a bright red illumination and will continue to glow for 45 minutes after the light is turned off. It is invisible in regular day light. Techno Glow paints are formulated to provide the brightest glow.
