I'm hoping you've figured this out already, but my daughter had the same problem today. After some various Google searching, I found that you have to shut the Galaxy off completely. Then start it up and hold down the 'down' volume button until the swipe screen. Swipe and you should be in Safe Mode, and it will say it in the bottom left corner if you are. Once there, go to Settings --> Application Manager, and uninstall the Kids Mode app with extreme prejudice.

How to use the Quick Panel to access Samsung Kids
Step 1. Double-tap or select the bar from the top and drag it downwards.
Step 2. Drag down to open the Quick panel and touch the [+] button.
Step 3. Hold the [Kids] icon, and drag and drop it to wherever you want it to be.
Step 4. Tap [Kids].
Step 5. Touch the Start button on the Samsung Kids screen.

How to set up Samsung Kids
Step 1. Launch Samsung Kids.
Note: You can add the Samsung Kids icon to the Home screen. (Turn on Add Samsung Kids icon by going to Samsung Kids > Parental control > Settings > turn on ‘Add Samsung Kids icon’)

Download a native app
Step 1. Your download will start when you touch a native app icon.

Add a child’s profile

How to allow app access
Step 1. Touch the [More] menu in the top right corner of the Samsung Kids screen.
Step 2. Select [Edit] or [Parental control] from the menu.
Step 3. Select [Apps] from the menu.
Step 4. Press the Add [+] button.
Step 5. Select the app you want to add from the list. And press the Add [+] to confirm your selection.
Step 6. Touch [Save] to enable access to the app on Samsung Kids.

How to add an audio file
Strep 1. Select [Music] at the bottom of the Parental control page.
Step 2. Press the Add [+] button.
Step 3. Select the audio file you want to allow access to and press the [+ Add] button to confirm.
