The event commenced on June 16 and continues until June 30. While the Twisted Masquerade event is underway, players can unlock 12 killer and survivor masquerade masks. Here’s a complete breakdown of steps to obtain all these time-limited masks during the Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade event. How to Unlock All 12 Masks in Dead by Daylight’s Twisted Masquerade EventWhile it’s easy for killers to earn masks, at the same time, it’s a daunting task for the survivors to grab all of them. Before you move forward, you need to equip Frightful Flan in Dead by Daylight, as you can’t unlock any cosmetic from the event without it. To get a mask during the Twisted Masquerade Ball event, you must first get an invitation. Each DBD match features an invitation located on top of a black and gold pillar. It’s worth noting that this invitation randomly moves around the map and makes a sound effect after it changes locations. After collecting the invitation, you must complete the match in order to keep it. The killer team needs to eliminate all the survivors after collecting an invitation. At the same time, survivors have to defend themselves from the killers and escape successfully. The team who fails to accomplish the objective will lose the invitation. Once you exit the game, you’ll get one random mask. As a result, you’ll need to work through at least 12 trials in order to unlock all the masks. These masks are the centerpiece of the anniversary event, highlighting a spread of survivors and killers from all 6 years of Dead by Daylight. Players can unlock them by completing in-game challenges, but the process of obtaining them is quite confusing at first. They’re not unlocked via the Event Tome or the in-game store, so how do you collect the masks during the Twisted Masquerade event in Dead by Daylight? How to Unlock All 12 Masks in Dead by Daylight’s Twisted Masquerade EventMasks are unlockable cosmetics that can be obtained by playing Dead by Daylight matches during the 6th anniversary Twisted Masquerade event. During the event, Invitations will be placed in every match. These Invitations will be placed atop black and gold pillars that will move around throughout matches, playing sound cues to attract players. When you find an Invitation during a match, you can claim it to unlock one of the new masks. You can claim Invitations as either a killer or a survivor, but keep in mind that every player can hear the sound cues emitted by them. It might be riskier to pursue them as a survivor since you could run into the killer trying to secure the Invitation for themselves as well. Plus, you have to either finish the match as a killer or survive until an escape option becomes available as a survivor in order to keep your Invitation. If you are killed or left on a hook, you will lose your Invitation and have to try again in the next match. Finally, masks unlock in a random order regardless of which role you play. You can’t pick and choose which ones you want, so the best strategy is just to play as many matches as possible and collect Invitations whenever you can.
