So I have cat and dog fur stuck on my leggings. I put all the leggings into one pile and wash inside out on cold and air dry. Then I have to go in and use a lint roller. Is there an easier way or is this just how it is?

I usually end up just using a lint roller 🤷♀️ I also avoid wearing my lulu around the house because I know that there is hair all over the place. I usually just change into my Lulu before I leave the house and change out of it when I get home unless of course I bought it specifically for lounging in which case I will just let it get covered in hair

Lint roll your clothing before removing it and throwing it in your laundry hamper. Dont just throw hair covered clothing directly in the wash.

I’ll try this next time! Thanks!

If you turn it inside out or use a mesh bag it’s harder for the laundry machine to pick off the hair! I just throw em in there on gentle and cold water and have had no issues for 4+ years

I do this same thing and have no issues with hair still being stuck to my LLL.

Thank you for this! I will try this on my next laundry load! 🙂

I lint roll before washing.

I have a golden retriever, and she sheds a ton. I just toss all my lulu in the wash on cold at once and then hang to dry. I don’t turn it inside out or anything. There is some fluff on them, but nothing a lint roller can’t fix when I go to put them on.

For the pieces that end up with lots of lint and pet hair, I lint roll before I take it off and put in the hamper. Kinda, why I have only a few in align and everlux

I use a chom chom (Amazon buy! Saw it recommended here before) or lint roller before washing. Invigorates and wunder trains are two of my favorites but I have two dogs that shed a ton. It’s not a match made in heaven 😒

What?! I didn’t know this product existed. Thinking I need it now! Thank you!

I’m just resigned to being slightly furry unless it’s shorts weather… 🤪🙈

I used to wash inside out but i still found dog hair on them where as if i just throw them in the wash much more comes off

If I'm seeing an abnormally large amount of dog hair on my clothes (like at the start of summer when there's non stop shedding), I'll aggressively shake out clothes outside before I throw them in the wash - I have a baby, a toddler, and a dog - time for lint rolling is not a thing, but an outdoor laundry shaking party is. I'll also then sometimes throw the load in the dryer on air only for like 15 minutes before I hang everything up. I feel like the dryer is where hair is actually removed from the clothes, as evidenced by the contents of the lint screen.

I went for the option that was the closest to what I do. I usually wash everything inside out and air dry all of my Lulu. So far I don’t have any pilling nor any other issues with my clothes. And my baby Daenerys is a chihuahua but gosh she sheds XD

I have 3 cats and my clothes come out of the wash almost completely clear of pet hair. You’re missing the crucial steps of making sure you do a second rinse in the wash (I use the delicate cycle on cold), then the tumble dry on the lowest temperature setting. I add in natural wool balls for anti static, and they work like a charm. I’ve got well into 500+ items over 7 years and never had an issue with shrinking or wearing out fabrics by doing so. Obviously I don’t do this with some items that recommend air drying such as some wool blends, but those are VERY few. I really don’t know why people freak out and only air dry their items.

This is exactly what I do! That extra rinse is critical, and also “deep water” or whatever it’s called on your model of washer. And I don’t do inside out for anything as I want them to get the water and friction on the side with the fur! (*with the exception of my fully reflective tights). And I dry on low heat almost all my Lululemon except for my Luxtreme tights and tops as they’re almost dry when they come out.

I avoid any item that isn’t full on luxtreme or luxtreme, I am not overly picky about inside out or outside right, and I often give a vigorous shake/flick before I hang them to dry. I also find the larger the load with more items, the more the hair seems to be removed.

I don’t wear my nulu/everlux at home to avoid pet hair. I lint roll if there’s a lot of fur. I wash on cold and dry on low heat!
