We have a video tutorial for giving OP to a player:

Before Reading... Players that you OP will also be able to OP and De-OP other players. Only give OP to people you completely trust.

An Operator (OP) is someone who has access to commands that are used in managing the server.

Among the commands that an operator has access to are changing a player's game mode, updating server difficulty, giving items, kicking and banning players, whitelisting, and even stopping and restarting a server. You can view a list of operator commands here: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands#List_of_commands

There are three ways to set a player as OP:

    • Through the server console
    • In-game command
    • Editing the ops.json file

The first two options are preferred as they're simpler and won't cause issues if executed incorrectly.

Giving OP through the Server Console

If you're using Bedrock Edition: You will need to also enable cheats on your server for this process to work properly.

Making a player an operator through your server's control panel is simple, requiring only a single command. This is the fastest method of opping players if your server doesn't have any operators yet.

    1. Log in to your control panel and navigate to your server's Console.
    2. On the textbox of your console, type op. Replace with the Minecraft username you want to OP.

    3. Press enter on your keyboard or click the Send button. You will receive a confirmation message on your console indicating that the player has been made as an operator.

If the username of the player you're trying to OP has a space in their name, you will have to surround their username with quotes, like so: op "Minecraft Fan123"

    Giving OP In-Game

Opping a player in-game is more convenient, but requires you to already be opped. If you are not a server operator, you will need to op yourself through the console first.

    1. Type in the command /op in-game, replacing with the Minecraft player you intend to op.

    2. Press enter on your keyboard. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that the player has now been made as an operator.

    Removing a Player as OP:

Removing players' operator roles is similar to opping them and can also be done through your console or in-game commands:

Co-op (short for cooperation) is a special feature in Hypixel SkyBlock which allows up to 5 players to play the game together on the same island with a co-op profile island.

However, through upgrades from Elizabeth, this number can be increased (see Account & Profile Upgrades for more details.)

    Chat[]

The user can send a message to all co-op members in a private chat channel using /coopchat <message> /cchat <message> or /cc <message>. Co-op chat can be toggled by using /co or /togglecoopchat.

    Managing[]

If the user already has an existing co-op profile, they can use the /coop command, /coopview command or Profile Management in their SkyBlock Menu to manage their co-op profile. If the owner is idle for too long, they may be kicked and items be salvaged.

    Invites[]

In order for a user to invite someone to a co-op profile, they should open their SkyBlock Menu and select Profile Management (nametag item), then right-click on one of the empty profile spot. Alternatively, they could type in the command /coop followed by the username of player(s) they want to invite separated by a space. Note that all the players invited have to be online in SkyBlock. This will create a new profile with a starter Private Island where the user and their co-op members can build on.

To start a new co-op profile, the player needs to use the command /coop <player 1> <player 2>... and wait for the player(s) to accept.

To add a new member to an existing co-op profile, the user can use the /coopadd <player> command. If you use /coopadd on a solo profile it will turn into a co-op profile

To view their current invites, the player can use the /coopview <player> command.

    Kicking[]

To kick someone from a co-op profile, the player should use the command /coopkick <player>. This will create a vote with the other co-op members to kick the player.
Note that if there are only 2 players in the co-op, the other must be offline for 35 days to /coopkick.[Confirm]

    Leaving[]

The user should make sure they are on a different profile before leaving a co-op profile. When leaving a co-op profile, if there's still at least a member on it, the Private Island will still remain available for them. All the player's items and progress on the co-op profile will be removed and is salvageable by their co-op members.

Warning: Kicking a coop member, while on a different profile, causes the kick to fail. All members voting in the kick must actively be on the profile while kicking for it to work.

    Salvage[]

If a co-op member has left/kicked the co-op profile, the other co-op members can collect their items within 36 hours by using /cchat <message> or /cc <message>0. However, when salvaging when the person has deleted their profile, it takes time for the game to register this. It should take around 5–15 minutes and the command should work.
