I got my window sticker and everything. I was under the impression it took about 48 hours from start to finish. Should I be worried? If you mean how long is it on the assembly line, or how long each stage takes, I haven't found a clear answer to that. I've heard that final assembly takes 30 hours, but that's subjective. These are done off-site after the truck is completed on the line. It is another queue that adds time to the build. The time can be significant depending on the backlog. Nope, I specifically did NOT order those things knowing it would add time. Is there any way to tell where it's in production at or what's holding it up? Yesterday morning the tracking sheet said it was build 9/12 then in the afternoon that cell went blank. Join Date: May 2021 Location: MS Posts: 2,239 Most seem to be built 7-10 days once in production, but that�s not always the case. Mine went to in production 8/31 with a build week of 9/6. Build day was 9/7� then that moved to 9/9� but it didn�t get built til 9/14. So looking back, only 15 days in production, but those were a very long 15 days for me� Mine also did not have anything that required the truck to be sent off-site for more components. For whatever reason though, it took longer than normal� I do have a theory though� shortly after mine was built there was a release stating that they were (temporarily) out of the Dana M275 axles. I looked at the sticker on my axle and it was manufactured 9/12� so my theory is that my truck got put off for a few extra days because they were waiting for the rear axle to show up since my truck was built 2 days after the date on the axle. Who knows if that was actually the case or not� but it seems to add up. I know none of this helps you while you�re waiting� but I�d bet that it�ll be done soon. Something you can try if you haven�t already is download the FordPass app and put your VIN in. Some say that once the truck is built there will be an �Activate Now� button on the Home Screen. You won�t be able to activate it until you�re in the truck, but it could be another sign to check for. You can also check the As Built data by entering your VIN. If the modules populate that means your truck has been built and programmed. You can do that through this site. Good luck! I have one by itself on the very bottom of the window sticker that shows 10/9/21 and then I have another date under special order which is in its own box on the bottom. That shows various codes that I don't know what they are and then a date of 10/7/21. The one in the box is the day your truck was moved to �in production.� The date at the very bottom� it�s a theory that it just updates weekly but doesn�t really mean anything. Typically, they are built about 7-10 days after the date in the box� but not always. My window sticker disappeared then was re-issued 3 times, if you can believe it. But then one day it said the truck was shipped and then my window sticker disappeared again! Then I couldn't figure out when it would arrive at the dealer. But about 10 days later, it did. What I learned from this experience is that you need to go find something to take your mind off things and just wait until the dealership calls to tell you they have it ready for delivery I recommend fishing, that worked for me. My dealer said it takes 45-60 days after that to get the truck in my greedy little mitts. Does that sound accurate to you?
