When you’re on track for an epic adventure, the right gear matters. With GENERAL, you can confidently explore the most remote backcountry terrain and tackle the toughest tasks. It’s the adventure side-by-side that offers more performance, comfort and versatility than anything else in the class. The GENERAL XP 4 1000 Sport is the most capable crossover SxS. With tilt steering, 64" stance and an upgrade to high clearance A-arms, 30" tyres, Walker Evans shocks, front bumper and a 4,500 lb HD Plus winch, it will elevate your experience and take you to adventures that break new ground.
A day of rolling over bumps, ruts, rocks and logs can really take a toll. But thanks to class-leading suspension, smooth and responsive power steering, and stabilizer bars that deliver superior handling, you can put harsh in the rearview mirror. When you aim to get far away from the crowd, you need a machine that can keep up with your ambition and elevate every off-road experience. With a 64” stance, 30” Pro Armor tyres, all-new Polaris HD PLUS 4,500 lb winch, high clearance A-arms and Walker Evans Velocity shocks, XP is the very best adventure side-by-side off-road has to offer.
I wonder how many people ordered 2 machines with plans to only take one? Seems like double ordering wouldn't help Polaris catch up any faster? Seems to me it would just be adding to the delays. I guess my thought is, if I'm going to order something that is in production delay because of so much demand, I wouldn't add to that by ordering a second machine in hopes that one comes faster. I know there's folks who ordered the Trailhead Edition months after ordering their original, because they were promised August delivery (I think I'm remembering that correctly) on the Trailhead machines. That backfired on some because they fell behind on that promise too. I dunno. We are living in weird times. Click to expand... July 29 when I ordered, production delay wasn’t as prevalent as it is now if at all. My local dealer was trying to get me a 2021 Factory Custom. Then the run around started! Found another dealer who from that week has updated every week the timeline of my order with them. I hear what you’re saying.
So take out the frustration on the middle man who has ZERO control over the arrival of the machine. But they do have control over warranty work and how timely that is... like I said, do what you want. But then accept the consequences from that decision and realize what kind of reputation your building for yourself... Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
Trust me service will not be a problem @ the place I ordered the first machine from . I have a 4 place snowmobile trailer filled with Polaris sleds that were bought , servieced yearly and all parts bought at that dealership . I was upfront with the salesman ( actually both dealership know I ordered 2 ) . So how would you feel if you ordered 1 machine in June 21 and was told November . Then your told sorry won't see it until June 22 ? But you read of guys here that ordered in November and are getting the SAME unit you ordered back in June in January ?
I've had my 22 for about 3 months... only had to wait 5 weeks from order to pickup. Even had all my accessories installed. No backorder on anything for me. Maybe my dealer is a bit better than some? Maybe that's why I've bought my stuff mainly from them the last 15 yrs except a few occasions where I really needed a part and they didn't have it... Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
