How long is a flight from Orlando to Miami

We were delayed an hour because of fueling and catering. On a late flight with 4 children that was a nuisance.

Delayed flight, no explanation as to why. Took too long to Exit plane! One would have thought there would have been a rush to get us off…🤷‍♀️

You guys already know that coach sucks.. *lol* You got us all packed in like veal fattening pens. *lol*

Food needs to be a part of the flight. Those snacks are ridiculous already. Our boarding was fine because we have high membership with American express and delta rewards. Crew were great and especially the pilots.

Crew was very pleasant and helpful. One flight attendant stood out: he was so sincerely nice & welcoming. As we were preparing to deplane, another flight attendant congratulated him on finishing his first week as a Delta flight attendant. He then told us this was his new second career and that he was a retired police lieutenant. Impressive.

Flight was smooth. Captain was polite and reassure our safe flight. Made it home 15 min early too!

Snarky flight attendant needs a break since she is obviously appears burnt out.

Too many delays and maintenance issues

Pros: "The crew was helpful."

Cons: "The comfort of the seat could be better."

Cons: "Nothing, really. Airlines unfortunately can’t make people patient or polite, & I can’t afford a private jet, so I’ll have to settle for an eye roll or twelve."

Cons: "I checked in last night for my flight and get to the airport early to check my bag but My seat Was given away because they said I did not check in, even though I went through security WITH MY BOARDING PASS. Then they Assign me a new seat and when I got on the flight, someone was in my seat"

Pros: "Entertainment was up to date."

Pros: "Crew was awesome. Very respectful and helpful"

Cons: "Explain why there’s over a 2 hour delay"

Cons: "Faster lines at check-in. More courteous security personnel"

Pros: "Accurate arrival time"

Pros: "Snacks were good. On time."

Pros: "Boarding was quick and prices were fair"

Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Pros: "Quickly boarded and took off as well. It was a really smooth flight!"

Pros: "Everything was really great"

Cons: "I can’t no say anything bad"

Pros: "Waiting in the departure lounce was ok"

Cons: "Boarding was kind of stupid Delta is boarding in Zones and starts at the front instead of starting boarding passangers sitting at the back of the plane and moving forward NO they do it the wrong way and due to that boarding takes to long and makes you frustrated."

Pros: "Getting off the plane"

Cons: "Boarding was a mess Seats had no leg room Flight attended was a jerk"

Pros: "Love the hospitality and the staffs kindness"

Pros: "I called ahead to get a seat assigned. I suffer from minor claustrophobia and the lady at the call center was kind enough to seat me somewhere spacious."

Cons: "Snacks could be better. Although the biscoff cookies are excellent and the crew was on their game making sure we had our snacks. I wish that for a flight as long as NY to MIA, they would offer more of a meal."

Pros: "The flight , was delay for 3 hrs..I have to take anoth flight."

Cons: "Sandwiched between 2 big guys 1 of which should be made to buy 2 seats!!!!!!!"

Pros: "Smiley flight attendants"

Cons: "the passenger next to me was sick and shortly after takeoff projectile vomited in the seat. The flight attendant did not seem to think that it was a big deal and took his time attending to the sick passenger and relocating me."

Fast trip and on time fly

Wasted my time while I could enjoy Disney park

Cons: "Waited too long for bags at baggage claim."

Cons: "I purchased a round trip trip to Orlando, my departing flight was delayed due to maintenance issues for almost 5 hours. I cancel my flight at the gate and took another flight with another airline. I emailed Frontier’s customer service that was told I would receive a confirmation email about my refund but I had not received anything, I also tried calling but I kept being disconnected. At the gate, they told me that this would not affect my return flight at all but IT did! I got an email saying I received a full refund 2 hrs before I was suppose to head to to airport to go back home. I immediately called & found out they canceled my ticket & the first person I spoke with wanted me to pay $160 to get back on the flight which I more than I paid for the round trip flight in the first place. I spoke with a manager and was able to get back on the flight for what I paid the first time. Which I’m still not happy about, I’m lucky I checked my email at all that day and realized what they did but still instead of enjoying my last day in Orlando I spend it dealing with this. The return flight was on time but I was seated next to a gentlemen who was a mix of cologne & BO and would not be still. To top it off after landing in Austin, we were stuck on the tarmac for 1hr and 20 minutes because the airplane at the gate we were going to was having some kind of maintenance issues. I’m never flying with Frontier again."

Cons: "The fact i got stranded."

Pros: "The flight was on time. No delay."

Pros: "Baggage made it with flt. On-line check-in was easy."

Cons: "High baggage fees (for both checked and carry-on). Virtual requirement to pay upgrade fee for seating - only a handful of seats in entire plane were available without upgrade fee. Even highest level upgrade seats were cramped - had more leg room on economy seats on Alaska flt on in-bound flt. Plane was 4 hours late in departing. While pilots seemed friendly, of two stewards, one was downright unpleasant and unhelpful, the other seemed pleasant but was more interested in reading his fashion magazine than providing service to passengers. Will not be flying Frontier again."

Cons: "Out flight was cancelled after you delayed it for 3 hours. At 2:00AM we finally figured out what was going on. We were stranded in the Philadelphia airport. There was very poor, if any communication. At that late hour, all hotels were booked. We were forced to stay in the airport, with no place to rest. Some passengers got pillows and blankets provided by Frontier which we repeatedly asked for, but were never provided. It was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences of our lives! We are still waiting for our full refund! 3 of us had booked round trip to Orlando, paid for special seating, paid for carry-on bags We expect a rapid response before this goes on social media"

Pros: "We took off and landed on time. The support staff was friendly. The airport in Orlando was a God awful mess so no matter what airline you were flying today out of Orlando, it would have been enough to make a priest swear We missed our flight but were rescheduled in a very timely matter by very pleasant Frontier staff."

Cons: "I absolutely hate all the fees for this and that. I started flying in the days of stewardesses who dressed up (not that a give a fig about that really) and meals were included. It's really difficult to come to terms with being charged for water. I made a mistake when booking and had a checked bag outbound and then a carry on returning which should have been a checked bag. I played hell trying to get this matter straightened around a few days before and then again while I was checking in for the flight. I finally requested to speak with someone higher up the food chain, and she managed to make things right in short order. Of course, there was no $5 refund. Why did it take 20 minutes of time to do this? In order to save us both from this type of thing in the future, I will avoid booking with Frontier. I think one has to be more organized than I to do things with a no frills airline."

Pros: "Got me where I wanted to go,"

Cons: "I am allergic to dogs and cats. This is a growing problem for me because it seems that the rules are looser and people keep a pet on their lap and service animals are increasing. There were two on board ( One not a service animal, the other one was) and I spoke to the gate agents who were mostly uninformed and unsympathetic . There is an overall lack luster with everything about FRONTIER and I get the no-frills / buy what you need concept, but there is no accommodation for people with serious allergy, and there is an increasing ability to get the certificate to have a service animal for just about any malady it seems. I respect the need for a service animal. However the passengers who have to sit in an airplane with recirculating air with dander are largely misunderstood. I asked to speak to a FRONTIER supervisor and there was no one to be seen and I got a stock answer from the gate agent in Orkando who was chewing gum so hard, it was difficult to have a conversation. Eventually I gave up my good seat to go further back from the animals who were seated up in front rows. That makes it worse when you have to pass by them to get back to your seat. And again, the gate agents were not helpful in getting me on the plane pre-boarded. Yes I take medication and sometimes I am OK and for the record, there is no truly "hypoallergic dog" for me. That is the excuse I also get. It is tough to live with when people around you do not understand . I was also recently deplaned on United airline because of this problem. I cannot stop flying it is always something now I have to worry about until I get to the gate. I do not wish it on anybody but if you had the reaction of welts itching and swelling it would be better understood as something that needed to be addressed by the airlines. Thank you for reading this long note."

Pros: "First time flying frontier, staff was very nice, I checked my bag and paid the standard fee like every other airline. The seats do not recline and are ultra thin, I think this made it more comfortable on the shorter 2 hour flight as it seemed to provide more knee room. I think customer experience could be brought up very easily with better online/app and mobile boarding pass. The plane didn't seem old and seemed inline or slightly above for its price point. I'm ok with no real food or entertainment especially with 4drink being free, but in flight wifi should standard even on a discount flight."

Cons: "First I bought a ticket from Spirit Airlines SFO to MCO for 309$, then I saw charges from frontier Airline, frontier airlines bought a ticket for me too for 287$, when I was just watching checking the price. Then I compared the tickets, both the time, but from Frontier Airlines was cheaper then I stayed with frontier and cancel the other reservation from Spirit Airlines the next day I see frontier airlines also cancelled that reservation and I had to rebook another ticket for 496$, the price went up, then I had to pay 187$ extra, IT WAS A FRAUD JOB FROM FRONTIER AIRLINES, I can prove everything above with the receipts and the dates on it, the worse experience I had"

Cons: "I have traveled many places and have NEVER encountered such horrible service in an airport as I did at your Orlando airport / Frontier counter. I checked hours before was in the airport and long lines an hour and 1/2 before flight leaving and due to your Frontier agents at this counter I was unable to board. This happen to more than one passenger in line with me. This agent continued to argue with me rolling her neck and head at me rather than get me to t gate with an available half hour before take off. There was vomit at the counter which they refused to call anyone to come and clean up but overall NO ONE was on task. I will dispute the extra charges I have incurred due to this fiasco and will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again."

Pros: "The return flight was on time and the flight attendants were more responsive."

Cons: "The departure flight was a disaster. After updating us multiple times on delays, our scheduled 11:57 p.m. left at 5:00 a.m.! And, Frontier charges extra for EVERYTHING. My original flight cost $344. By the time they charged extra for carry-on, upgraded seat, and checked bag, the cost was $483. On the delayed flight, the flight crew drank coffee in full view--nothing other than water was offered after this outrageous delay. Then they had the audacity to offer a paltry $50 voucher that had to be used within 90 days. I had heard many bad stories out this airline but thought I would give them a chance. I will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "Upon boarding the plane one of the flight attendant asked me if i had a vest or identification for my service animal. Though I had verified on my boarding pass i had a service animal she continued to question me whether or not my dog was a service animal. I told her that the American Disability Act does not require me to show identification to anyone, that the only thing she is legally to ask is what type of service animal and what she is trained to do. Anybody can go on google and get a service animal vest and identification by many false companies without even presenting their dog to someone. She threatened to call the captain and i told her to go ahead. Instead she came back with what im guessing was a frontier handbook showing me that i was require to have a vest and id. I told her that that was not correct and she swore up and down that was federal law... a frontier handbook.. federal law. The american disibiliy act is federal. She humilated me in fromt if everyone in the back of the plane. I was si upset. I have hearing aids because of my hearing loss. My service animal is a hearing dog and i take her everywhere with me because she alerts me to things around me that i cannot hear. She is my doorbell, my ringtone, my alarm when i cant hear those things. She eventually let it go after humilating me and completly upsetting me. No one with a service animal should ever have to go through that, my 6 hour flight was the longest flight in my life. Was so uncomfortable being there after that run in with her. I had already checked her in as a service animal at the front gate whybshe felt the need to get in my face about it, i dont know! Trust me, i will be following up with this."

Pros: "Ads profess low prices when in fact you have to pay for every single thing and in the end you end up paying the same or more as all other airlines. This is my second Frontier experience and both times I was not able to pay for my bags online with my credit card, therefore I was forced to pay higher prices than necessary. Can't believe you charged me $45 for a carry-on - preposterous!!! Also - I was not able to check in at the kiosk when I got to the airport.... I tried to different kiosks and neither would take my credit card so I had to wait in the long line to talk to ticketing agent . Poor experience all around - will not recommend or use front tier in the future."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled due to bad weather. The flight was rescheduled for two days later. The weather was great but it was also cancelled. There wasn't even an attempt by the staff to fix the problem. They were only willing to give a refund. If there isn't a flight then don't advertise it."

Cons: "My husband is a active duty military personnel, his orders had changed last minute, we sent military orders and leave sheet, to Frontier Airline HQ. It all started with the papers sent wasn't enough information, the military orders were sent, and again, these were denied because it wasnt a pdf document. I personally sent the Military orders as a PDF document, and I never heard back from Frontier. I feel like we were fooled by this company, so we couldn't change the flight and waste our money and time on them."

Pros: "Frontier offered to re-book on "first" available flight which was Friday, 12/23, three days from original flight. Totally unacceptable, no offer for any compensation. Had to buy a last minute ticket on another airline at $550 per ticket for my daughter and myself total $1100. Luckily we are still getting home for Christmas, but no thanks to Frontier. Soon, in addition, to all the extra fees, frontier will start charging a fee for "guaranteed to get to your destination". Frontier flights are cheap, but they do not guarantee to get you to your destination in a reasonable amount of time."

Cons: "The entire staff to and from my destination was unacceptably rude and unprofessional. I have never seen an airline employed by so many people with an outrageous amount of attitude and distaste in working in customer service. By far my worst experience flying."

Pros: "They were blaming the weather for massive flight cancellations meanwhile the news is reporting a massive walkout from their pilots and other flight staff. Thy were reluctant to give me a refund after telling me that the next available flight wasn't until Friday. After hastening with customer service for over an hour I was able to get a refund and book another flight through Kayak on a different airline. It was an expense I wasn't really excited about but I am finally home. Never flying Frontier again."

Pros: "I had no problems with the crew or employees at frontier."

Cons: "I was aware that this airline charged for carry-on's and beverages that other airline companies usually provide fee of charge. However, there were several other issues that I had that soured the experience for me. First of all, the seats were considerably less comfortable. The backs of the chairs were plastic, the try table was so small it might as well not have been there at all, and the leg room was terrible. On the way back there was a line of about 300 people at the Frontier desk to check baggage. I don't know if they simply did not staff appropriately, or if there were too many flights scheduled to take off around the same time, but I've never seen anything like it. They did attempt to fix the issue by pulling the people who had sooner flights to the front of the line, which I was thankful for or I would have certainly missed the flight. However, this could have been avoided by planning flights more appropriately, and certainly was not the most fair approach. Finally, we had to wait for about 45 minutes for our checked bag after the flight as well. This could have been the fault of the airport itself, but I've never had an issue with baggage at this airport before. Overall, I don't think the extra saving was worth it, and I'll likely be flying with a different airline in the future"

Pros: "And they charge for soft drinks and all luggage. All in all Frinyier is a expensive with all their charges as Delta without the better seats, free entertainment, and soft drinks. I won't use them again."

Cons: "The disorganization checking one check bag. I arrived in plenty of time. Very long line to check the bag (no skycab available). Majority of people in line arrived with only a short time before their flight and had to be rushed ahead of me to get to their flight on time. I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

Cons: "Airplane is new but chairs are made of plastic and very thin, they don't recline and you have very small space -- very uncomfortable. I flew from Miami to Vegas (5 hours) The plane flew at low altitude the entire way and went right through all storms just to save fuel/money. People were afraid for their lives because the plane was shaking so bad. I travel 1-2 weeks out of each month by plane for work and I am not afraid, I knew it was fine, but others had no idea and were very afraid. I know it is a cheap airline, but the real problem I had with them was they are not honest. Their website says that if you chose your seat online you have to pay, but if you do at check in it is free and they will try to keep your party together as long as there's seats available. Upon arriving at the counter they wanted to charge me to keep me and my fiancée together, otherwise she was at the front of the plane and I was all the way at the back. The plane had extra seats and we got there early to get assigned seats together but even the manager would not help me even after showing their website. He said the computer will make them charge me and there was no way around it. There's always a way around it. At the end of the day, paying for seats, all bags you check in or carry on, foods/drinks in the plane, I paid just as much as flying with a good airline such as Delta. I will never fly with them again, that is for sure."

Cons: "The seats didn't recline, there was no wifi and when I asked for a sip of water, to take a pill, I was informed I would have to buy water if I wanted anymore than a sip. About half way through my trip (9 pm- 3:30 am) a flight attendant snapped on my over head light and accused me of using my ecig and demanded I give it to him. As I handed it to him I explained I was not using it and deployed the button to show him it wasn't even on. He then "confiscated" it. About two minutes later he returned it to me and told me not to use it again or I could be jailed. After I got off my flight I found a Frontier Airline supervisor and told her what happened. Kim took the tag off my bag (for flight info) and told me a report would be filed and I would here from the airline in 24-48 hours. Three days passed and I finally called them just to find out that there was never a report submitted for me. Poor customer service!"

Pros: "The efficiency of the boarding process. It was organized and fairly expedient."

Cons: "The exorbitant additional fees. Absolutely absurd to charge for a seat and carry-on luggage in addition to the plane ticket itself. My carry-on suitcase is HALF the size of the traditional size and paying $30 to bring it on the plane is insulting. The chairs were uncomfortable. They don't recline, no head rest, and no blankets were on board which made resting for my 5 hours across the country EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For all the extra fees you'd think a movie and some snack packs might be available. Then again, with the trays too small to fit even my mini iPad, there'd be no place to put them. No in-flight entertainment was a bummer too. I've usually been so happy on Frontier. Bit this experience will keep me from flying Frontier ever again."

Pros: "Flight was fine. Seats were cramped but no worse than any other airline."

Cons: "When we landed, I did not get to baggage claim in a timely fashion. Frontier took our luggage and locked it up. We were told to go to the Frontier ticket counter to get our luggage. When we arrived all the frontier employees were gone for the day and no one at the airport could retrieve it. We had to wait several hours for someone to come and get our luggage. This was a terrible inconvenience. I have never experienced anything like this by any other airline. I have no idea why they did not just leave it off to the side (like every other airline does)."

Pros: "It doesn't matter to y'all what i like. Due to a deep discount ticket, elected to fly one way back from the NBAA - National Business Aviation Association annual convention in Orlando. It was like coming from first class to third class but i knew that having flown Frontier once before rt SEA and denied the credit card i took up the offer. You people could write the reversal book a retort to Dale Carnegie, 'How to loose friends and influence people'."

Cons: "Really don't care much for your airline, never have. It starts with an attitude. Then you have the audacity to demand $25 for my standard airline roller bag. The so called food is lousy. Three crew members handled my request for more water with "did you want to recycle that"(?) sarcastic. One was a skinhead. Not only are your clothes black, it is the deepest textured black i've ever seen, right out of the Bible as defined as people of darkness, no taste either. The seat had no recline, not even the new two inches. That dinky tray table, have never seen before. What is this Spirit Airlines (never flown)? Put a handicaped person on last and have them get off the plane after everyone else has left, not the complete opposite. Actually it was all as expected. I know you people. But the pilots did a fine job. commercial pilot grs"

Pros: "The crew, as always, were very polite and helpful and trying hard to make up for errors that were not their fault."

Cons: "My flight was 4 hours late taking off, which was blamed on weather amass although I fond this questionable after reviewing weather in the areaspam involved, I'll give them that. My flight on the way back was over 4 hours delayed for no reason that I could glean from speaking with representatives. We got no advanced notice even though the plane had not yet left a destination around 4 hours away. We were told a plane was coming from another airport and would be there by 6. The plane did not arrive until 9. No explanation. No compensation. Nothing."

Pros: "The staff was very pleasant."

Cons: "Would have liked the seats to recline some-they were too straight to be comfortable. Everything seemed to run very efficiently."

Pros: "This is my return flight. The cost of the flight was something like $90 round trip from ATL to orlando international. No brainer. I'll take it."

Cons: "After spending $90 on the flight I got to check in the day of and find that it is going to cost me $40 down and back to bring a CARRY ON. I then find some fine print that says how to get around the $80 round trip fee. Get a carry on that fits under the seat in front of you. So I pack in a small backpack that can "fit under the seat in front of me" and have less clothes than I want for my trip but am able to offset the almost 100% increase in cost. They didn't appear to care that people had carry on at the terminal despite saying it was going to cost way more to check at the terminal than online. So some people had paid, other didnt. That seemed to irritate some of those who had paid as we talked about this with other people on the flight. I probably could have brought a full size carry on and not had to pay for it, but who knows. On our way back, we were 30min early on 5:45AM flight from ORLANDO, GREAT RIGHT?...but because Frontier did not have their act together, there was no terminal for us to unload from. We actually then waited on the tarmac for over an hour waiting for Frontier to back a plane out that was not even flying until later that afternoon. Our seats in our row did not recline back. I dont know if that was part of the low budget thing or something was broken. We were not in front of an exit row. There was not actually a button to push, so I assume it was part of the low budget thing and they just don't recline. On check in, more cost issues come up - pick a seat...not just a seat for things like extra leg room or up front. They will make you pay for a middle seat next to the toilet if you want it. No one wants that seat, but if you want to sit next to the people in your party, you are going to have to pay for it. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I was going to give it a little bit of a slide b/c I knew that it was a budget airline, but, after all the nickle and dime issues, when we had to wait for an hour on the tarmac, I blew an internal fuse and just made my overall bad experience, worse."

Pros: "People were professional and everything ran smoothly."

Cons: "I'm sure there's some tiny print somewhere explaining carry-ons are $45 but it should be more obvious when booking - even if you do it through a third party. It soured the rest of what was otherwise perfectly good service. Other passengerss reacted the same way. I was charged and then noticed the family next to me was charged only $40 for checked bags. The looks on their faces for having to pay for both types of bags was priceless. I mentioned the cheaper check-bag fee at the counter and she said, "Oh, but you said it was carry-on". It just felt scammy. Easy-Jet has been a discount airline for ages and they give you all the options up front so you know what you're getting into. They practically charge you for toilet paper but there are no surprises. Add the extra aggravation of LaGuardia's third world style and you end up with a frustrating day for avoidable reasons."

Cons: "O couldn't take the flight because the cost of my luggage exceeded the costed my fight & was not allowed to cancel for refund of any kind."

Pros: "Nice clean plane, friendly staff"

Cons: "Having to pay for checked bags or carry-on on my return flight from St louis"

Pros: "Lori & Joey Hough , Booked way a head of time wasn't ask or told that there is a charge for 1 carry on . Then @ the airport sign said $40.00 for carry on and get to desk & she charged us $45.00 & i saided why are you charging me $5 .00 more than the sign said , oh because it summer. really!!! was most uncomfortable flight ever seat to hard don't go back at all. To hot on plane.charge for ever little thing. and for what we paid it wasn't worth it. cost to much for being so inconvenience. i had sore back my husbands neck was sore. never again and will not recommend this air line . at this point."

Pros: "The ontime schedule of the flight which went well"

Cons: "The fact that i got sick that week and had to canncel my flight for me and my wife , and our dog had to get a spline and tumor removed , on the day of the flight going up. called yous and yous transfered me over to frontier, you gave me back a small piece of my money with a 90 day restriction , or I loose it all...so our dog is doing much better were happy for that and today i'm almost over this bug, ...I'll use you again in the future"

Pros: "The crew was friendly and the plane was clean."

Cons: "'Only Pay for what you Need!' This is the slogan where all the hidden fees lie. But what do you really need? A carry-on? Who doesn't need that? Well It's gonna be $60. A cold glass of water to hydrate during a 3 hour flight? $6. Oh yeah if you want a seat on the plane you already paid for, it's going to be $16-50. frontier ends up costing more than its competitors even after cutting every luxury on the plane to save its customers money. (Seats do not recline and no TVs). I think I'm seeing a trend in the reviews, Frontier. Stop being dumb. I will never fly with them again."

Pros: "There wasn't anything clearly that I liked. There were some things that I was able to tolerate however."

Cons: "Although the price of the flight itself was cheaper than other airlines it's really not worth it. For one, you often pay a lot more than the stated price of the flight. You pay for such "extras" as obtaining preboarding seats online, checking luggage at the terminal (instead of online), obtaining seats that recline, obtaining seats with "extra legroom" (for a mere $50 one way), on board nonalcoholic beverages and even water were extra. In addition the cost for carry-ons and extra luggage was considerably higher than other airlines. Frontier doesn't coordinate with TSA, so your TSA preboarding clearance is worthless. But worst of all were the seats. Very little padding and the nonstop flight of 4 1/2 to 5 hours was really misery. Of course you could bring on a seat cushion with you, but that would cost extra.. Even with all of this, I probably saved a few bucks my flying Frontier. But really, life's too short to see how much misery I can put up with just to save a few dollars. I won't be flying this air airline again. Frontier might work for young healthy men and women who are taking short brief trips, who don't carry any luggage and who don't mind sitting on a seat that feels like a wooden bench."

Pros: "Boarding was efficient. My seat mates were very nice. Baggage claim in Dever was extremely efficient."

Cons: "I flew Frontier many years ago, and it was an excellent experience! The seats were all leather, roomy, reclining, with flatscreens on the back of every headrest. Super friendly staff, and great food! This was the polar opposite experience. There was no space or wiring for television screens to be mounted anywhere. The seats were non-reclining metal frames with a molded hard plastic shell. If I were to try to pick up something from the floor, I would have had to smash my face on the seat back in front of me, that felt as though it were no more than 10" from my nose. The "tables" were about half the size of a dinner napkin, and barely fit my softdrink and cup, that I had to pay $1.99 for! I observed one lady on her way to the lavatory that was told to return to her seat, as drink "service" had just begun, and the attendant refused to back up the cart three seat rows to let the lady pass. Other than initial boarding, smiles were few from the attendants. They certainly didn't look happy to be working for Frontier! The cabin was kept extremely warm! By the time the four hour + flight was over, my clothing was wet with sweat. I'd imagine the cabin discomfort added to the attendant's displeasure. When were supposed to dock with the terminal, there was inadequate ground crew to marshal us to the gate. We waited for over 20 minutes, when we were 20 minutes late to begin with. I think I'll ride Amtrak, or rent a car next time."

Pros: "Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."

Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

Pros: "On board crew was very nice and were very entertaining."

Cons: "I've flown frontier before and I have never had a problem. Tried to check in for our flight 30min before it took off as we were running late. The rep who was working the desk (young female, approx. 20yrs old) gave us the worst guest service I have ever received. I did not understand why we could not check in, nor attempt to board our flight, although I understood it is our fault for running late. We did not need to check any bags as we were carrying them on. The woman behind the desk only kept saying you missed your flight and was very disrespectful when our friend tried to talk to her saying "I don't know why your even trying to talk to me, I told you I am done with you." I work in the guest service industry and have never been treated or talked to with such disrespect. I would have understood if she was apologetic and explained to us WHY we could not board or make our flight, compared to being rude and rolling her eyes constantly. I will not be flying frontier again I can avoid it."

Cons: "The flight attendant was laughing during the safety speech, which was a little discomforting if you like to feel as if you may make it alive. If you like to not move your legs around or not be able to recline slightly while in an air plane, then this is your airline. The flights are cheap but they forgot to tell you they charge for one carry on! You might as well fly with a legitimate company and not end up paying the same price if not more because of all the "fine print". The saying goes "buy cheap, get cheap" but this airline is a little out of control."

Cons: "ONE AGENT at the Ticket counter, and ONE AGENT helping her, sauntering on the floor with 2 ladies' 'carry-ons'? THen the ladies are checking credit cards, something about moving clothes from one cas to another.... I was the Next one in line, WAITING AND WAITING, 20+ minutes, and NOW THE CHECK-IN LINE BEHIND ME IS FULL!!! And these Two AGENTS are still playing with these 2 ladies. (I dare say the race card was played here!) THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THE OTHER AGENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET BEHIND THE COUNTER AND START 'WORKING'!"

Pros: "Flight crew pleasant, even making sarcastic comments about the cheapness of their airline. For example, "If you don't like our service, there are 8 emergency exits on this plane." We arrived safely and our bags got there too!"

Cons: "It was a tough day due to weather delays and cancellations, but the airport crew was overwhelmed and failed to control the massive crowd. At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Cons: "They charge extra for everything. I would much rather pay a bit more and have a cold drink or peanuts on the flight. Charging $60 for a carry on bag is ridiculous! The seats are terrible. They are hard, they do not recline, they are too close together. The air nozzle above every seat that I sat in was barely blowing, no matter how much I tried to adjust it. The little tray in front of the seat is a real joke. Suffice it to say I will NEVER fly Frontier again. I will walk first. A handicapped young lady had to sit clear at the back of the bus. The only positive thing was that she and her family were able to board first. The staff were all nice, but asking us to clean the plane was a bit much."

Pros: "Only thing i liked is That we didnt crash"

Cons: "-$40 fee for personal bag that was slightly over regulation -one hour delay PLUS 2 hours stuck on runway in the airplane without access to water nor could we stand up out of our chairs for bathroom -finally when they were serving food and beverage only paying passengers had first access to food and water even if the crew had to walk all the way to the back and then back to the front to serve and charge them, it took about 45 minutes until they started serving water (of which the second cup of water they needed to charge for supposedly although we got "lucky" and they gave us a free second little glass of water)"

Pros: "One flight attendant was comical and kept things light."

Cons: "Baggage drop off is unnecessarily lengthy and travelers should be warned. It’s unlike any other airline. Luckily I arrived early enough to allow for the additional time, but if you don’t factor it in you may miss your flight. There is no beverage service and the tray tables are half sized and unable to accommodate a lap top. You’re forced into being crammed typing with the computer on your lap. Minimal and piecemeal communication regarding our diversion to another city. There was clearly no communication from the pilot to the flight attendants who were trying to do their best to assist passengers. If you’re diverting to a different city, passengers have a right to know what’s going on. Hidden/extra fees. I see no cost benefit in flying Slirjt due to all of the fees"

Pros: "crew was very rude and unprofessional. Flight was delayed due to maintenance. We were boarded the plane then de-boarded us for maintenance. then changed plane and delayed more. Then captain changed and delayed even more. No food or drink was offered. Asked for money to buy food or even drinks after making us wait. I was asked to push my elderly family member on wheelchair when asked for help during gate change. I was told to push my own family and i might miss this flight if I wait for help. never apologized for the behavior."

Cons: "crews needs to be trained well. need to know or have knowledge about customer service."

Cons: "Not changes the schedules"

Cons: "Seats are very uncomfortable"

Cons: "Seats are uncomfortable"

Cons: "I had a medical issue over one month prior and received ZERO help from Spirit. I will avoid your airline at all costs."

Cons: "I was told I missed my flight to and they canceled my flight home WITHOUT contacting any of the 4 people in my party. Then said there is nothing I can do about it you need a new ticket home."

Cons: "Web site was not user friendly, customer service on phone was poor, the people did not understand me and were difficult to understand, gave me poor info"

Cons: "When i checked in I was told that i could take my one paid for ( at check in prices) through the security and down the gate...they had put a green tag...no less then 3 people said wait right here when you de plane your bag will come up on ramp ...NOT baggage claim I waited 1/2 an hour before I was informed my bag was now in baggage claim.... Meaning run my butt of get my bag go to check in again through security to board another flight. and no help from this airlines I did make my connection.... really poor to say you will do something then totally screw up."

Pros: "I loved the comfortable seats, the leg room, the crew was great, the flight was on time and arrived early!!"

Cons: "The only thing I didn’t like was the price on the checked bag, I think the price could be cheaper!!"

Pros: "The staff was friendly. The plane took off on time. And we arrived at our destination on time."

Cons: "I flew to Atlanta to have a special MRI/MRV with a 3-Tesla machine because I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia aka Suicide Disease. It's called that bc it's supposedly the worst pain known to mankind and there is presently no cure. I've had it for 12 years, every second of every day. We have not been able to find the source of the pain and we're hoping that this higher resolution machine will give us some answers. Anyway, bc of the medicine I take, I have extremely dry mouth. I asked for a small cup of water. The flight attendant told me that she couldn't give me water without charging me $5! But she could give me a cup of ice. How does that make sense?? Ice and water are essentially the same thing. So it just seems like Spirit Airlines came up with some arbitrary rule or something that prevents them from showing compassion and caring more about the profits and bottom line."

Pros: "The flight crew was polite and attended to my needs and they were actually funny."

Cons: "I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that."

Cons: "The plane had very little a/c so was hot the entire trip and the seats are very hard making them very uncomfortable."

Pros: "Really smooth flight, great landing especially traveling with an infant."

Cons: "Gate crew couldn't update gate board with flight delay details, then before even boarded our delayed flight the next flight booked at that gate was listed causing confusion. Gate check tag for stroller was attached and claim check received. Stroller was loaded at MCO. Upon arrival in BOS none of the 4 gate checked strollers were located and brought to the waiting parents. We were then told by ground crew there were no gate checked items ragged and the strollers were put on baggage carousel. 20 mins after all bags were claimed there were still no strollers. Crew at baggage claim was notified and without letting us know what she was doing she walked away from the 4 sets of parents. She returned saying she didn't see them out back. We were asked to fill out lost luggage forms. As we began filling the forms the strollers came down the baggage claim without explanation of why no one could find them. Each one had the neon green gate check tag visible. This delay of almost 40 minutes caused me to miss my scheduled bus with a cranky infant."

Pros: "Efficient from prepared to landing."

Cons: "Seats do not recline."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats"

Pros: "Getting to Detroit safe"

Cons: "Being herded like cattle into the plane and then told for the fourth time delayed again but this time you are stuck on the plane for a hour and a half. Then we finally arrive in Detroit 3hours late and 3 other united flights that arrived after us get their baggage before us. It's like they held our bags were held hostage. Waited again for a hour for luggage in Detroit. It's like flying gives them the right to your property and treat your horrible. I'm all done I would assume it's kinda like jail but I have not broken laws. Horrible expierence. Never fly spirit"

Cons: "The seat are not comfortable they are to hard. No headphone provide by the airline. May you can add a soda and some chips in to the flight even if you add 10 dollars more in the ticket is not going to cost you more then 2 dollars."

Cons: "The space of the seat and that know we have to pay for our luggage"

Cons: "I have traveled on several different airlines in my lifetime and wanted to give your airline a chance. Although your ticket prices are lower than most, I do like to travel with a piece of luggage or at the very least a reasonable sized carry on. The fees to have a checked bag are ridiculous and the measurements required for carry on are substandard! The seat sizes are less than roomy and please know I am by most standards an average sized person weighing in at approximately 150lbs. The tray tables are extremely small and couldn't imagine having to actually put food or drinks upon them. Which leads me to your food and drink pricing, let's just say you don't even wear a mask when you rob your passangers! I would rather be thirsty and hungry than to pay the absurd amount of money you ask for. The crew, not real friendly doing the bare minimum of what is required. The captains on each end were more interested in talking on their cell phones than by greeting passangers. It goes a long way with passangers when you feel confident or at the very least acknowledged by the crew. There was no entertainment offered on my flights, which is fine as I can surely entertainment myself for 2 + hours. Their website is less than user friendly. Having to set up separate accounts for myself and family is time consuming and completely unnecessary! When there was an issue with the tickets it was very difficult to get any real help from customer service. The 'hidden' fees with Spirit are absolutely crazy! No money saved! I was so disappointed in my experiences with Spirit Airline. I couldn't in good faith recommend them to familyand friends ."

Pros: "The flight crew were very upbeat and friendly and made the flight enjoyable. The staff also played trivia games with the customers that kept everyone entertained. The flight attendant also gave my small son sticker wings just for flying and was beyond sweet."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed and we originally were all seated with out seat belts waiting to depart to only be told our flight was now delayed and that we all had to exit the plane and wait 2 hours. A flight delay is understandable but boarding and then having to get off was a little frustrating. The flight for the most part was comfortable but wished they at least had a front seat pocket to help hold items during the flight but instead only had elastic bands. Also the tray table is half the size of a normal one so holding a larger lap top is not that comfortable."

Pros: "Ticket prices were reasonable."

Cons: "The airlines weight limit on checked bags (which already cost the same as the ticket) is 40 lbs. anything 40-50 is an additional 30, and beyond 50 lbs is another $50. We tried 'saving' money for our trip by combining two adults luggage for a week into one checked bag instead of paying $39 a piece for a carry on. We were at 41 lbs leaving so in addition to the $41 for the checked luggage we had to pay the additional $30. On the way back, because we had purchased items on vacation and were only allowed two small personal items, we were over the 50 lb mark by 2 lbs and had to pay 55 to get our things on the flight. Don't waste your time with this airline if you want to take anything with you on your vacation."

Pros: "Staff gave me a refund for return flight& baggage fee"

Cons: "I was supposed to depart at 10 pm. Flight was delayed twice via email & again once I arrived at the airport to 1:40 am. Around 1 am, the flight was cancelled. There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am."

Cons: "Flight was just delaid 4 1/2 hours. The fuel truck that we were waiting for broke down that was another long wait. The air conditioning on the rear of the plain didn't work, and when a few people became overwhelmed withe the heat, and asked for water....they had to purchase the water. One flight attendant was RUDE non caring and just nasty. Wish I had her name!!!! People were also upgraded to bigger seats with out paying. I PAID FOR A BIG SEAT AND IT WOULDN'T EVEN RECLINE!!! SO UN FAIR.......IF YOU DONT SPEAK ENGLISH OR KNOW SOMEONE AT THE CHECK IN COUNTER YOU GET FREE BIG SEATS AND WHATEVER ELSE!! Oh yea, other airlines checked bags weight limit is 50lb yours is 40. Didn't know that, I had to unpack and take stuff out. Why? You already charge $50. to check a bag, CRAZY. THEY CAN'T FIND MY GLASSES EITHER... WORST FLIGHT EVER!!!!!!"

Pros: "I liked no stops. The crew were very friendly."

Cons: "I do think they should provide at least free water. I don't like that they changed their size bags and then once we got there they said "oh that would have worked" - we paid for a bag online when we paid for seats because of the dimension change and not knowing what to expect (it happened after we booked). I would have preferred if I wasn't given a higher price since they changed the carry on size they should have given me the baggage price when purchasing the original tickets. They don't send you a notice to preregister and they should say ...no need to preregister but if changes happen we will update you. it was a little disconnected to know have a confirmation like that."

Cons: "Will NEVER fly with Spirit Airline. Horrible experience!!! We had to change a flight to different dates because the funeral day got changed. We changed our flight over the phone and the put the flight dates in wrong. When we called to ask what happen they could only focus on that we missed our flight, well yes bc you put the flight dates in wrong. Will never work with this company Ever."

Cons: "Spirit Airlines was a mess, we got told the wrong information to stand in a line that was too long, and we were not going to get through even though we were an hour before our flight. I went back to the lady, and once they called our flight at the 50 min mark and said that we need our bags checked now. The line agent again told me to go and wait in the line, only to wait and be told we missed our window which was what I was trying to tell the lady earlier. To add fuel to the fire, it seemed three of the people were arguing and then switched to Spanish when it got heated. Lucky, we were able to go out on Delta an hour later without issue and went well. I'll never fly Spirit again for it was a horrible experience and that's from someone who flies's various airlines and 160,000 miles a year! After many years of flying this is my first complaint. However, I would warn others to spend the extra few dollars to go with another airline when traveling."

Pros: "Crew was very nice."

Cons: "Ridiculous charges for everything you get on other carriers for free: printing boarding pass, choosing a seat, water, carry on bag allowance. Additionally seats are extremely small(and I am not a big person), no inflight entertainment available at all, no option for an electronic boarding pass and additionally the flight was delayed. With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit."

Cons: "Out flight was cancelled due to poor weather in Newark. Spirit wasn't at fault for the bad weather, but they left us high and dry in the aftermath. They gave us no help or information how to rebook, and chaos broke out as a couple hundred confused passengers scrambled to find temporary accommodations. My family ended up staying overnight in the Orlando Hyatt airport hotel, and booking a flight the next day at expensive last-minute rates. We ended up paying $340 for the hotel, and $2500 for the flights, for a total additional expense of $2840.Because Spirit refunded us $1200 for the cancelled flights, we ended up losing "only" $1640 to get home, with no help from Spirit to mitigate our loss or even to advise us what to do. This is not how an airline, even a low-cost airline, should treat its passengers. I heard many passengers, in the scrum of confusion after the cancellation, vowing that they'd never fly Spirit again, and it's hard to argue with them."

Cons: "We were over 1 hour late getting to Orlando as there was a passenger who was on the plane in stand by . Spirit overbooked the flight and they down 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue. I was suppose to get to Orlando at 10:30 . I got to Orlando at 12;30 . I had to be up and ready at 6:00 . It took me 45 minutes to get a ride. This past Thursday I was suppose to fly spirit to New Orleans . The security people search me for around 40 minutes . The plane was still at the tarmac however the spirt person had closed the ramp and would not let me on the plane . The plane set there for additional 25 minutes . I drove to New Orleans for 7 hours for a meeting. I will never , ever fly spirit again ."

Pros: "Flight attendants!!! Happy, fun, funny!"

Cons: "Delayed start of flight"

Pros: "The only plus side to Spirit is the price if you have no bags to check or carry on."

Cons: "It was a rollarcoaster of an experience! The communication was awful, from the crew to the passengers and even amongst themselves. We were lied to (for the sake of peace) and told many different things, from slight delay, to big delay, to leaving now, to cancelled, to can't fit everyone on our flights tomorrow and there are no hotels, to we may rebook this flight for tomorrow, to we are reimbursing, to we figured everything out, let's go now. We had to be rechecked in, new tickets issued, then sat on the plane for an hour as baggage had been taken off the plane, taken out of the security area to the other side of the airport-lastly, we were told luggage would come the day after, then after landing we were told we wouldn't get our luggage for two more days. It was incredible how poorly everything was handled. Aside from that, we know it is a discount airline, no frills. But the seats not being able to tip back had a HUGE impact on those of us flying for the first time. For late night or long flights, Spirit isn't ideal for comfort and ability to sleep. Otherwise, everything was fine :) Honestly, I won't fly Spirit again if I can help it. Granted I don't know if the crew member was sick, got in a fight or had some other sort of delinquecy, but wow... the lack of viable options and the announcements being made, changing of plans, etc. was unlike anything any other airline would tolerate."

Pros: "nothing, i was already sick of the airline."

Cons: "charge 50 dollars for checked baggage. most checked baggage is around 50 pounds, but they do 40, so they charge an extra $30. When you get to the gate, they tell you one personal item, not one carry-on. that's $60 if you act now, $100 at the gate if they see you have two items. I had to put on multiple shirts and almost bust my back pack to show I had "one" No complementary beverages or snacks, unless you pay with credit card. No entertainment. Felt like sardines. What a joke. You should really have a FILTER button for the companies that charge baggage fees, carry on fees, food on board, etc. And make it DEFAULT, because seeing a price of $120 from SPIRIT vs $140 from DELTA, most people would choose to save $20. But then they get hit with $50 for the checked bag, and since it's 5 pounds over weight, They have to pay $80. $80 for a checked bag. So they take 5 pounds out, and hold it with them, to not incur the $30 charge. When they get to the gate, they are told to stuff everything into one bag, if they can't do it, they get charged another carry-on. $60-$100 dollars. This is a SHADY business. Please tell me you won't show them by DEFAULT!"

Cons: "Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way."

Cons: "Flight attendant was so mean. I did not get a chance to ask who she is or her name was at that time . I was traveling with my family including my mother who is almost 80 years old and was seated farther away from me. I stood up to check on her as she was having shortness of breath when we boarded. I stood up 15 minutes after we took off although the seat belt sign was on to check on my mother, I knew I need to stay at my seat but I have to check on my mother. flight attendant was at the aisle getting food orders and was very rude told me to go back to my seat. It could have been better if she asked what's going on and why I need to stand . That's not my expectation of a flight attendant as she should be there to assist and provide support if needed. But she was very rude and directed me back to my seat without asking the reason of my action/ behavior but instead very rudely telling me to go back to my chair. She could have asked me if I need help. I believed she is also the flight attendant who was using the overhead mic to give instructions to the passengers. She is not fit to where she is at. I believed that there still a lot of people that were very disappointed at her . I hope nobody dies in the plane where she is at as her act of negligence, rudeness , discourteous is not acceptable."

Cons: "Everything else. Spirit accidentally cancelled my return flight. How is this possible? I had to shell out $1000 to hold a backup flight out of fear that they couldn't fix the error. Then they tried to double-charge me for luggage that I had paid for with the initial booking. Once they reinstated the luggage fee they stuck me in the back of the plane with no windows in an aisle seat when I paid for premium seating. Spirit is the worst airline on the planet. I would fly in a crop duster first."

Pros: "Made it home in one piece"

Cons: "Only one suitcase, otherwise had to pay $52 for anything extra. Some passengers had more than one case/bag without charge. The staff acted like they did not enjoy their professions. Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family."

Pros: "I liked the price of the flight... That lasted until I realized that I would have to purchase "upgrades" such as carry-on (and opted instead for checking a bag since that oddly was cheaper)"

Cons: "Our flight was delayed over two hours due to weather for our incoming flight. Understandable, however, they gate agents never gave an explanation (also, all screens other than the one at the gate did not say our new departure time, only that it had a "new time"). When we were in the air and beginning out descent, we suddenly felt weightless and then very heavy in our seats. I looked to the left, out the window, and another airplane could be seen at our same altitude beyond our wing. For an idea of how close the other plane was, hold your thumb and forefinger two inches apart at arm's length. That's how big the other plane was from my vantage point. My mother in the front of the plane got motion sick from the maneuver (if it hadn't woken me from sleep, I probably would have been too). From my seat a few rows behind the wing, I could see the air brake panels come up on the wing. In addition, customer service has been a pain to deal with. Would not fly their airline again - would rather pay more and go elsewhere."

Pros: "Boarding and seats were fine."

Cons: "I didn't like having to pay for luggage both ways. I also don't like being charged for food. It looked like the cheapest flight but in the long run we spent more."

Pros: "I paid for 5 tickets so I liked the price."

Cons: "It cost me more than the price of 1 ticket to check only 2 bags both ways for the 5 of us. Checking in in Orlando was the worst experience ever and I fly at least monthly. We were put in 3 different lines in 30 minutes. The last line we were put in, the agent said she would have to charge us for PRINTING OUT BOARDING PASSES though we were told to go to that line without boarding passes. Security was terrible experience. Took forever. I nearly missed the flight. The door had already been closed when I got there. Airline staff were surly even though it was not my fault. Flight was good. Will never fly Spirit again"

Cons: "Boarding unorganized, no entertainment or wifi for purchase, small spacing for seats-I was next to a large person"

Cons: "Many hidden costs, seats unreasonably small, no drinks or snacks at all unless you buy them, disorganized. Airline appears reasonably priced, but they charge high prices for any amenity usually included in the price. They didnt have curbside at airport, adding to the long lines inside. Elderly passenger had to walk with heavy bags before getting wheelchair. Not acceptable. Website almost imposible to navigate-kept kicking me out and phone service is inefficient . Clearly, everything is set up to make traveler spend the most for any necessary convenience once they arrive at airport. Will not travel with Spirit agIn."

Pros: "Nothing it took about 4 hours to rebook another flight with Delta. Spirit had no available for up to 48 hours to BWI."

Cons: "Same as above. Will never fly with Spirit again!!!"

Cons: "Que me cobraron la maleta deben de mejorar eso"

Pros: "The crew and the airport staff was amazing!"

Cons: "The horrible baggage add process. It took me a total of 6 hours to add a bag to reservation. 3 calls to customer service and hours on their broken site trying to add baggage. I finally escalated to a supervisor who said (after speaking with other representives who told me something was wrong with my browser) that I couldn't add bags to a reservation that had already been checked into. She unchecked me and I was able to add the baggage for a very large fee. Kayak- I do all my business with you but if you continue to do business with Spirit and not Southwest, I will use other sources."

Pros: "Everything was great! Stuff was really sweet and helpful."

Pros: "You can tell the planes have been updated and they were comfortable."

Cons: "All of the joking done by the stewards on the overhead microphone. Too many jokes and their content, it wasn't funny at that point it was unprofessional. Super disappointed about having my luggage left at my city of origin and the earliest I was offered to get it returned was in 24 hours! So I'm in a new city with no clothes at all and the rest of my continents that were in my suitcase. Arranging to have the suitcase dropped off is not enough to counter the worry and financial inconvenience that comes with not having your stuff. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never fly with spirit again"
