How long is Ohio from Florida in car?

What’s the fastest way to get to Florida from Ohio? We normally fly there, but this time we’re bringing a bunch of gear for snorkeling that would be annoying to check on a plane.

The fastest way to get from Ohio to Florida is via I-77 S and I-95 S. The trip will require about 16 to 20 hours of driving, though, so you’ll need to stop overnight once or twice along the way.

If you’re going to stop twice, I suggest you do it in Salem, North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. If you’d rather power through and just stop once, however, you can do it in Columbia, South Carolina. This is the natural halfway point between the two states.

Since this trip is a pretty big undertaking, it’s also a good idea to check out your car insurance options on the Jerry app before you leave. Download the app to see competitive quotes just for you so you can save on the coverage you need.
