It doesn't seem like there's an easy way to learn the days in each month...

But there is one trick!

Super Secret Memorization Trick!

😺 Use your knuckles to figure out how long each month is.

How many days is a month

January, the first month, is on a knuckle, so it has 31 days.

The next month is February.

February is special. It has either 28 or 29 days!

The third month is March. It lands on a knuckle again, so it has 31 days.

The next month, April lands on a space, so it has 30 days.

And the pattern repeats itself!

Once you run out of knuckles, start over with August.

Congratulations! 🎉 You now know how many days there are in each month.

Start the practice below. It'll help you remember for longer.

Is a month exactly 30 days?

All months have 30 or 31 days, except for February which has 28 days (29 in a leap year). Every fourth year, the month of February has 29 days instead of 28. This year is called a "leap year" and the 29th day of February is a "leap day".

How long is exactly 1 month?

The accuracy of the Gregorian calendar results from the close agreement between the length of its average year, 365.2425 calendar days, and that of the tropical year. A calendar month may contain 28 to 31 calendar days; the average is 30.437. The synodic month, the interval from New Moon to New Moon, averages 29.531 d.

Why is a month 30 days?

Julius Caesar modified the Roman calendar in 46 B.C. to make each month have either 30 or 31 days, with the exception of Februarius, which had 29 days and gained an extra day every fourth year. Quintilis was later renamed Julius in his honor. Likewise, Sextilis later became Augustus to honor Augustus Caesar.

Is a month 30 days or 4 weeks?

Are there 4 Weeks in a Month? All the months in the calendar have 4 complete weeks because every month has at least 28 days. A few months have some extra days, but they are not counted as a week because these extra days are not enough to sum up to 7 days.
