Journalists searching for story ideas will access top experts, new research and big ideas as thousands of business leaders explore how to create better workplaces
ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 8, 2019 — More than 18,000 HR professionals and business leaders from across the nation
and more than 90 countries will convene for the SHRM 2019 Annual Conference & Exposition June 23-26 in Las Vegas.
Journalists who attend are likely to leave Las Vegas with a variety of story concepts, as the conference will feature key trends, emerging issues, new research, and both resources and sources on work and workplace issues. Among these issues: paid leave, workplace immigration, pay equity, workforce development, diversity and inclusion, employment of the formerly incarcerated, compensation and benefits, and recruiting and the job market.
With a theme of “Creating Better Workplaces,” the conference will explore these subjects and more during general sessions, more than 200 unique mega and concurrent sessions, and a host of TED Talk-style presentations on the Smart Stage.
