How many dime is a quarter?

For example, a quarter dollar can be made from two dimes plus one nickel. Each dime is worth 10¢ and the nickel is worth 5¢. 10 + 10 + 5 = 25 and so two dimes plus a nickel add up to make 25¢.

What is the ratio of a dime to a quarter?

The ratio of quarters to dimes in a coin collection is 5:3.

How many dimes equal 2 quarters?

Two quarters = 50 cents. 5 × 50 cents = 250 cents. To make 250 cents with dimes, 250 / 10 = 25 dimes needed. Therefore, 25 + 2 = 27 coins.

How much makes a quarter?

The quarter, short for quarter dollar, is a United States coin worth 25 cents, one-quarter of a dollar.
