Jul 1, 2003 well i got to ask. how much does a 4.3 weight? i got one i'm selling and to shipp it i need the weight. it's complete so if you guys have a good idea of how much it weight tell me so i can give a shipping quote. thank you and have a great day! Joined Apr 14, 2003 ·

On GM Perfomance they a 4.3L block that weighs 70lbs.:sicka: Joined

what year motor. the gm performance book i have lists a range from about 310 lbs - 400 lbs depending on the year of it.

Jun 15, 2003 did a search found out it weighs less than sbc V8 by 80-100lbs. checked the bible no weight shown just a "-" I'm trying to get a shipping quote for a guy all I need to know is how much does a 4.3L weigh everything but tranny and harness and puter is there. Joined

My certified scale said 475 w/o exhaust manifolds but complete otherwise. (no accessories, but with brackets in place.
