Each category has dozens of plane types varying in age and quality, which is why the range can be significant. Domestic Overnight FeeThis is the approximate cost added per overnight of your itinerary. This covers hotels for the crew and parking for the plane. This cost can be significantly higher on international itineraries, and when at special events such as the Super Bowl. Approximate Cost Per LandingLanding fees are incurred with each landing you make. If you fly to three cities in one day for instance, your quote will include three landing fees. General Daily Minimum This is one of the biggest factors in determining private jet charter pricing, but also one of the most difficult to understand. Master this, and you’ll master private jet revenue management! Simply put, think of it as the rental fee for the asset (the airplane). You must meet a minimum number of hours to keep a plane with you on a trip. If you have a Light Jet with you for three nights (4 days) but only have seven hours of flying, you’ll be charged for eight hours of flight time to meet your minimums requirement. There will always come a point where it makes more sense to just reposition the plane home and then come back for you. BUT… To avoid charging you for repositioning, and excessing daily minimum fees, we’re industry leaders in procuring one-way availability.
