4 years ago Show It is not possible to make GIF animations in transparency. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask me.
Hello! This tip is the continuation of my tip: "Easily ANIMATE your EMOTE with keyframes!", so if you haven't read it, I recommend you review it to know where to get the sequence of images. You can also visit my video explaining this brief process: import imagesFrom the sequence of images we got from exporting our project in Clip Studio, we'll use them to open them in GIMP. FILE -> OPEN AS LAYERS Next, we select all the images that are part of the GIF and open. Export GIFOnce with all the images loaded, you will be able to see them to the right of the program. We can start the export as GIF in FILE -> EXPORT AS... The following window will appear, where we can change the name of the file. And it will be necessary to change the file type. We click on "Select the type of file (By extension)". It will display a list, where you must find the GIF Image option, and you will click on Export. A window will appear: In the GIF options it will mention: Animated gif options The last two leave them unselected, and export.
author's notesThanks for visiting my tip! I'm sorry if it was inconvenient that the tutorial on how to create the GIF was separate from how to create an animated emote. Comments and feedback would help me a lot ❤ ANIMATED EMOTES #1 by Guruan Users who liked this post Correction, you can export in .Avi 2.0 and 1.0 both offer transparency option. Albeit you when getting to the final checkpoint for Video-Compression you must use Compressor: Full Frame(decompressed) option... use any other codec and Transparency won't work. But a few seconds video could end up with Gigabytes of size. And I know, this is not exactly a solution either... but its all we got. Solution for GIF's: I just recommend going to some outside website and have it remove the background form .gif files. Like this: Online Gif Background Remover and have some weird colour that you can put its RGB code to have it removed properly. An animated sticker, or APNG, is an animated image with the qualities of a .png file instead of a .gif file. The APNG export options are shown in the following screenshot: These options are the same as the .gif options detailed below, with two additional options added at the bottom of the window. The Delete blank spaces option deletes any blank areas that are not drawn, such as outside of the frame area. The Color reduction option reduces the color palette to 256 colors (transparent + 255 colors), which can reduce the file size but may make some colors display in a way that was not intended. How do you make a GIF transparent?Either delete the background from each frame manually before making a GIF (save the image as GIF or PNG to preserve transparency, JPG will not work!), or, if your GIF has a solid color background, use effects tool and select "Replace color with transparency" option.
How do you make a transparent CSP?Go to Edit > Convert Brightness to Opacity. This will set all white to transparent.
Can you make gifs with CSP?Select the [File] menu > [Export animation] > [Animated GIF] to open the dialog box to specify the file name. After you enter the file name, the [Animated GIF Export Settings] dialog box will open. Set the export method and click [OK] to export as an animated GIF.
