In this case, make sure you have the Sync button light ON, and S-FLOW button OFF.

In Camrys with Dual Zone, each side of the middle vents will give a different air temp and air flow is affected by how far the heat is raised by each temp knob, unless you push the right knob to turn the SYNC function ON and the yellow light illuminates.
Also, the S-FLOW (smart flow as it's called in the manual) which is the bottom right button, needs to to be turned off since its main function is to restrict air flow to unoccupied seats and send it only to the driver seat, it's connected to the seat belt warning system.

1. Turn on your heat on with face mode with Sync ON and S-FLOW off,
2. Turn the heat to the max for a minute then to LO.
Both temp display should go up and down together and the air temp should follow.

3. After that, turn off the sync button and turn the driver side temp knob to max HI, passenger side display must stay at LO, and wait for a minute and check. Air temp and actual air flow volume is going to be different on each side of the vent.

4. Finally push the SYNC button on and watch the temp display of the passenger side mimics the driver side and actual air temp will turn the same in each side of the vent.

I hope that help. If not, take it to a different Toyota dealer since it's under warranty. Type your complaint on a piece of paper and show it to the service advisor, so it's going to be the reference to the problem in case you don't fully explain it at the counter or the advisor does pass it the right way to the technician.

How do I turn on the heat in my Toyota car?

Simply press the auto button and turn the interior temperature higher than the temperature outside to activate the heat. If you want more hands-on control, press the front defrost button in the lower-left corner of the heating/AC control panel.

How do I warm up my Toyota Camry?

The best way to warm up your vehicle during the winter months is to go ahead and begin driving, but do so slowly. Doing so can actually help to preserve your Camry's engine. While it's better to drive rather than idle the engine, do consider safety before heading out in the mornings.

Why is my heat not working in my Toyota Camry?

The most common reasons a Toyota Camry heater isn't working are a broken heater blower motor, a problem with the thermostat, or a failed heater blower motor resistor.
