Does anyone know if there's a way to implement a soundboard so that you can have good coms when you can't use mic?
Figured it'd be super useful because it's still better than text coms.
Or perhaps Riot could build one in the game? That's a pretty big request though.

there is a communication wheel/system. It’s bound to the comma or period key by default (can’t remember which).
I rebound mine, because comma and period are not intuitive keys to use.

I know this exists, but I find it only ok to use in game.
With a soundboard, you could have it say specific names like hookah, or left and right. I just feel like it'd be way more useful.

Soundpad works pretty great, i use it to meme in the mic. You can get it standalone or on steam.

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out!

Unfortunately the demo version only seems to let you use 10 sounds at most. I think I'll go with the route I had originally since it's free and should be accessible to everyone
Thanks for telling me about soundpad though!

Hey man I have recently been using a soundboard but have been worried about people reporting me. Do you know if there is a policy against 3rd party apps like a soundboard?

I just found this video about how to set up a soundboard. It's actually super simple to do. You can also do presets so you can have different sounds for different maps. You can set keys like the number pad to it for easy coms.
This website is super useful for making text-to-speech if you don't want to record your own voice: //ttsmp3.com/

I've been using Resanance, and it works perfectly
Can't Play In Game
I turned on the option to make sure it doesn't block keybindings but even after restarting it and everything I still cannot play sounds on Arma 3 (Press the keybind but it just doesn't make the sound happen at all, I can't even hear the sound so its not a "push to talk, or voice activation problem). While Teamspeak is my main application, meaning when I click on it, I cannot use the software at all as well (doesn't allow me to play sounds). I thought it said I could use it on games, and on Teamspeak.

Hotkeys
Set hotkeys for each and every sound file and play them quickly while in-game.
Volume normalization
Some of your sound files are quiet while others are too loud? The integrated volume normalization will equalize the volume, so it meets the volume of your voice.
Recorder and Editor
Soundpad has a built-in Sound recorder, which allows you to record what you hear. The integrated Editor helps you to cut the sounds quickly.
Lightweight and Fast
Developed entirely in C++. Soundpad is slim, consumes little memory, little cpu and is super fast.
Works in any voice related application, like
Available for Windows 7, 8 and 10

Not the ordinary media player
or can an ordinary media player play sounds on the microphone?
Soundpad is designed solely for that purpose.
That's why Soundpad offers many different functions to give you the best sound to microphone experience.
Easy Setup
Soundpad gets installed for your default recording device. In most cases it is the microphone. But you can still configure it to be also available on any other device or many different devices at the same time.
Casual Hotkeys
Define one Hotkey per sound file, e.g. F1, Ctrl+G or Shift+Mouse1.
Numpad Hotkeys
Press Alt+17 to play the sound, which you defined that hotkey for.
Index Hotkeys
Press Ctrl+Alt+1 to play the first sound in your list or Ctrl+Alt+25 to play the 25th.
Sound Recorder
If you hear a cool sound on youtube, on a stream or in-game, just open up the recording panel and record "what you hear" with ease.
You may also define hotkeys to start and stop recording even when Soundpad is not in the foreground.
Sound Editor
Cut your recordings or any other sound with the built-in Sound Editor.
Just right-click the sound and choose Edit file.

Function overview
Headphones | Play sounds just for yourself on the default speakers/headphones, just like a regular media player does. |
Microphone | Play sounds to your interlocutors only. |
Both | Play sounds on your speakers and the microphone. This is the default when playing sounds by double-click or hotkey. |
Hotkeys | You can set hotkeys to any sound to play them quickly and easily when running fullscreen games. |
Block voice | If your microphone is noisy, then this option is for you. Instead of adding the sound to the microphone signal, it will replace the signal, so that your friends will hear the sound in source quality. |
Instant search | Find sounds faster by using the search bar. Press Enter to go through the hits and press Ctrl+Enter to play the sound. |
Sound lists | Save and load different sound lists. |
Sound Recorder | Record "What you hear" to create new sounds. |
Sound Editor | Edit your sounds directly without having to run other applications. |
