Love Betty White so I’m sure the book is going to be a fun read. We knew we were in for bad weather in the south, so I ordered the book so I could read it while everything was all iced and snowed in. The book arrived 2 weeks late, which was unfortunate since I ordered it knowing an ice storm was coming and I would be held up in my apartment with nothing but time to read. The book finally arrived once mail started back up AFTER the thaw. Can’t wait to read it when Louisiana gets another ice storm, in 15 or 20 years.

I have a dear 96 year old friend that loved this book. I thought she would as she has the same fun personality of Betty White and all the residents in her retirement call her Betty White. She also loves animals. She was so delighted to receive this book. It made her day very special. Thank you!

This is a great read. It's as sweet a read as the lady herself! I would love to ask her, share a cuppa, and visit with all the puppers.

This very short, light book is hilarious! And it's also heartwarming. I laughed. I teared up. I loved it. But what's not to love about the author, 98-year-old Betty White?

Published in 2012 soon after Betty White's unlikely career resurgence following that classic Snickers ad that aired during the 2010 Super Bowl, which was followed by an Emmy award-winning gig hosting "Saturday Night Live" and a leading role in the TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland," the book is combination memoir, life advice, and funny bits.

• Her exercise routine: "I have a two-story house and a bad memory."

• Her innuendos: When asked by an interviewer the very common question, "Is there anything you haven't done in your career that you would still like to do?" She answers, "Robert Redford."

Find out what it was like to host "Saturday Night Live," her honest take on the red carpet, what happens backstage at awards ceremonies, how the sexy homemaker character of Sue Ann Nivens she played on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" totally changed her career, and Robert Redford's response to her quip above.

The best chapter is the one titled "Animal Kingdom" in which Betty extols her love of animals in some quite unusual experiences she has had, including making good friends with Koko the gorilla and Beethoven, a Beluga whale at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

Written in a conversational tone, this book is a fast read laced with fun photos of Betty White's personal life and career. If you want an easy, short, feel-good read, grab this one!

I got this book for my Mom for her Birthday and she loved it. Betty White inspires her and she is 83. Great for Positive Living. Also, learned so much from reading about her. My Mom was really happy ❤️ and I find it’s hard to find her gifts these days. Terrific.

I gave this book shortly after Betty passed to a great fan of Miss White’s. The birthday girl loved it!

Betty wrote this at 89. It's a series of brief essays about her thoughts on a number of topics in her life and career. She's right, she had a very blessed life and her gratitude shines through.

Loved this book and could NOT put it down. Finished it in one reading and that would be my only remark, that it was not nearly long enough... but it was brilliant. Like Betty's other books this one was like having a one-on-one sit down chat with Betty herself. Her takes on everything were heartfelt, hysterical and full of love, like the lady herself. It made me miss her even more, but what a remarkable, long and wonderful life she led. This book is like an extra gift from her. I love you Betty...

Betty White is quite an inspirational woman. I couldn’t put the book down and have since passed it on to my 18 year old granddaughter who asked if she could read it after chuckling through the first few pages. Very uplifting during this crazy pandemic!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing

I bought this book because I like Betty White and thought it might be a fun read. Unfortunately, it is just a disjointed bunch of narcissistic stories describing uninteresting moments in Betty’s life. Don’t waste your money.
