Start Your Review of Lakewood

I’ve been living in Lakewood for over a year and I love it! The people are so friendly. Most establishments are within walking distance. The neighborhoods cute and well kept. Great place to live, would recommend!

I really love living in Lakewood, for myself and many other like-minded people I know, it offers the best of all worlds, great interesting housing, many tree lined streets, pretty safe for a inner ring suburb, relatively affordable but it is getting expensive, right on Lake Erie with its beautiful parks , not far from Edgewater Park and beach too, so close to the city downtown on the Shoreway and extremely diverse. There are tons of retail, arts and entertainment options, the restaurants are very good and the grocery shopping is just fine. Good schools. You really have the complete package here if this appeals to you. Most people I know here love it, the only very few who don’t, tend to be extremely conservative and not receptive to diversity. They would be far better to live in the far out suburbs where there’s lots of people like them, otherwise for the rest Lakewood is a wonderful place to live.
