I guessing once I get the 10 unique weapons achievement I have no use of all these crappy purple name weapons considering I make way better ones from scratch though the shark fin faeblades do look bad a$$. Thats how I could make money I guess

Do you need to actually have 10 purple weapons at one time to get that trophy? I presumed you just had to 'have acquired 10'?

Selling purple weapons (and armour) has so far been my biggest money earner - any of them that I don't equip or have particularly special bonuses on, I sell.

I'm currently using purple Faeblades actually (The Vipers Fangs)... would love some new ones now though since the Chakrams are doing far more damage. Whilst I have the Blacksmithing skill to make some better ones, I haven't yet found anything better than Steel so anything I craft at current wouldn't be any better anyway. I've recently started getting Azurite stuff as loot though so hopefully will find some such Faeblades soon. Prismere stuff remains a distant dream for me at current haha...

You can make the most money just selling stuff you pick up. Only salvage things that you are trying to get parts for making and sell the rest.

If you don't get Prismere faeblades, you get some faeblades doing quests in the prismere area called the gold lions or something.. they easily rival the prismere faeblades in damage. I say that and I had faeblades with 31 fire and 31 ice on mine as mastercrafted.

Sagecrafting offers quite a bit of moneymaking potential as well. Ill condense my shards into Pristines, churn out some epics and sell them for around 12k each (1 mercantile point).

Most of my cash though came from just selling the unique armors that didnt match my character spec. Got around 25k+ easy out of some of those. Im currently sitting at about 750k with really nothing to spend it on because I cant find any vendors selling stuff better than what I already made/looted.

Keep in mind that as you level up, the items being dropped increase in quality. The level cap is 40, so you may have some time to go before youre just finding world killer gear and components.

I sold it all IM currently using self made faeblades and chakrams and the suit from the Mage guild after you beat that chick. I also just acquired the master crafting ability through blacksmithing do I need something special to Make those

I have the same problem with Crafting Faeblades, I can never find merchants that sell them, which means I'm stuck with my all but useless now I can poison blink Poison Faeblades haha. Still, I find looting scavenges a lot of Faeblades so just revisit deungeons where you might have missed the odd chest and wander around the Faelands, you'll find a lot more than simply looking for a merchant, and for free too!

I've not yet had to buy any weapons/components from merchants as I've found everything I've needed from looting, though I can only speak for up to the '3rd tier' of weapons/armour (Azurite etc) so far. I had 2 Azurite Faeblades drop for me today so am all set in regards to the base blades but don't think I've got many good 'bonus components' yet... I still have a level to go til I can put a 7th point in Blacksmithing to include the gems in crafting though so might find something nice by then

Though I've found plenty of Faeblade to loot, I haven't however found any good looted Faeblades yet - in the case of Chakrams, since they already have the elemental damage bonus incorporated into them, I find that the looted ones are good to enough to use as they are - the Faeblades I've found (aside from the 'purples') haven't ever had any good bonuses so crafting for those it shall have to be... I did find those 'Shark Fin Faeblades' (mentioned early) today so that'll keep me going for a bit, but I'm sure crafted ones will turn out to be better all the same

Nah Mastercrafting isn't a separate option - what it means is that everything you craft from now on will have a small additional bonus on it. The type of bonus is dependent on the item you're crafting (+ damage % on weapons I believe and there's + experience % for something else). It's not much but it's completely separate (and stacks) on bonuses from other components so it all helps.

Also, Epic Gems can only be used in Mastercrafted (i.e. Blacksmith lvl 10) Chest pieces/Robes so maxing Blacksmithing 'unlocks' the ability to use these.

I'm only up to Azurite at current so have no idea in regards to finding Prismere stuff yet...

I found that out after i made some armour. Lol yea epic gems are well...... epic they give pretty good bonuses. I need to get my faeblades tp do ice and lighting damage bc i founs some awesome unique chakrams called solstice.. they rule and look awesome. Sorry for any typos stupid smart phones i swear
