Long Beach, New York fireworks 2022

The City of Long Beach Fireworks Display takes place Friday, July 8 at dark (approximately 9:10pm) and is presented by The Breeze Oceanfront Apartments & Isla Blu Oceanfront Residences. 

The fireworks will be visible from anywhere along the boardwalk and beachfront. Head down to the beach of your choice and enjoy the show. 

Please expect intermittent lane closures & heavy traffic in the area of Broadway and Long Beach Boulevard.

Reminder, there is no glass or alcohol permitted on the Ocean Beach Park. All bags and coolers are subject to search.

The rain date is Saturday, July 9.

LONG BEACH, NY — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified in the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Long Beach, so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Long Beach:

July 4th Festivities:

What: Fireworks Spectacular
Where: Jones Beach Central Mall
When: July 4th at 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks matching with patriotic music will create a colorful display above the shores of Jones Beach to celebrate the country's 246th birthday. Free parking will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.

The holiday barrage will be seen along the boardwalk and beachfront. Expect intermittent lane closures and heavy delays in the area of Broadway and Long Beach Boulevard.

The rain date is Sat., July 9.

What: Rockville Centre Fireworks and Concert
Where: Pette and Barasch Fields
When: Sat., July 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Rain date is Sun., July 10.

The South Shore Symphony performs starting at 7:45 p.m. and will include music during the Grucci fireworks show.

The fireworks display will be shot off from Lister Field. There will be no parking at Lister and Tighe Field.

The best places to view the show are Marina Green, Lions Lighthouse for Sight, Rainbow Harbor, Shoreline Village, and the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center parking lot. The fireworks display starts at 9 pm, but you can arrive early and check-out various shops and restaurants.
