Thank you, bro, saved my day 👍 For some reason even the power/charge indicator was completely dead and not reacting to being plugged in to the power outlet (tried using the different power cable as well). I thought that built-in had PSU died on me (next my BT speaker will charge via external PSU via Type-C, LOL). But resetting the speaker using the method you described solved the issue.

Regardless of charge device will not turn on

If this is your problem your most likely issue is the battery, make sure that the battery can still charge, if you plug in the device without the battery does it charge? If so the battery is issue. If you need to replace the battery follow the guide Marshall Kilburn Battery Replacement.

The underlying cause is likely an expired battery. Rechargeable batteries decay overtime, and slowly hold less capacity. In order to maintain the highest capacity it is recommended that you keep the speaker charged when not using it, and keep the speaker out of cold environments particularly, but extreme temperatures in general.

Often times this is because the battery is old and needs to be replaced. First make sure the battery is securely plugged into the speaker. If it is properly plugged in and it still wont charge the the underlying cause is likely an expired battery.

Either bluetooth is not found, or disconnects frequently

If your bluetooth is having trouble connecting to the device you are pairing your speaker with you can try a number of different things. First, be sure that your device and speaker are in range of each other, preferably close together, and free of any physical or electrical obstructions like walls or electrical appliances. Freeing your connection of electrical disturbances is important because many of your everyday kitchen appliances like microwaves and gas cookers use the same frequency range as this bluetooth device.

If this does not work, you should check to make sure your software is completely up-to-date. If your software is not, update your software and try to reconnect your speaker and device.

First make sure that your device has 4.0 or above bluetooth, you can find this information in the device page under settings on most devices. Next, turn off the bluetooth on your device and delete or forget the Marshall Speaker from the list of bluetooth devices saved on your device. Turn off your speaker and device off then turn them back on. Finally, re-pair your speaker with your device. If none of this works the underlying cause may be with the bluetooth piece

First charge your speaker and the device that you are trying to connect to the speaker. Turn the speaker back on and see if the speaker connects automatically. If it does and the problem persists try deleting the speaker from your bluetooth memory and trying again. If it doesn't connect automatically delete it from your bluetooth memory and try again. If both of these things don't work the underlying cause may be the bluetooth piece, or a short circuit in one of the wires connected to the bluetooth piece.

A clicking sound often heard on base hits or for high range sounds

If your speaker is making a popping sound you should check the following: First, check the battery power of your speaker and device to make sure they are not low. Next, check the volume knob on your speaker to be sure the volume is not too loud. If this does not solve your problem, check to be sure your speaker is not near any other devices that might be interfering with its signal.

If this is the problem the underlying cause is most likely the main speaker is loosening up from use, or going bad. It's possible that you could fix this just by tightening it but regardless of the problem you are going to have to open up the speaker and get in there. Follow the replacement guide for Marshall Kilburn Main Speaker Replacement

If this is the problem the underlying cause is most likely the tweeters are loosening up from use, or going bad. Its possible you could fix this just by tightening it but regardless of the problem you are going to have to open up the speaker and get in there. Follow the replacement guide for Marshall Kilburn Tweeters Replacement

Why is my Marshall speaker not turning on?

If the active loudspeaker will not turn on, the likely cause is that the Power Cord is not plugged into the wall socket or not plugged into the back of the active loudspeaker.
