WINCHESTER, IN – LifeStream Services will be offering a weekly curbside meal pickup for senior citizens in Randolph County who are experiencing increased isolation and a lack of nutrition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will receive a box of five frozen meals to take home and enjoy, as well as a special item to enhance their curbside experience. The program, LifeStream Curbside, will begin Wednesday,
September 16 and will continue every Wednesday from 9am to 11am at Husted Hall at the Winchester Fairgrounds located at 1885 US-27 Winchester, IN 47394. Social distancing measures will be in place to keep the community safe. The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and edible herbs to income-eligible seniors who are over the age of 60. Those who are interested in applying for vouchers or learning more about this program should contact Dana Pierce, Nutrition Administrator, at (765) 759-1121 ext. 231 or Micole Leverette, Community Services Administrator, at 765-620-9907. If your call is not answered, please leave a message and your call will be returned in the order in which it was received. If you are approved, the vouchers will be mailed directly to your residence.
